@@TheLawnFellas Your always welcome. Oh thank you I really appreciate that. That means a lot to me. I was wondering can you still not comment on my videos cause that really has me puzzled?
That’s the nice thing about this trimmer is you can feather it. It’s not as easy as a gas one but better than any other battery brand I used. Hope that helps 👍🏼
My church has a fence like that in the back so I understand you got to pull it out with your hands. I got to say that's pretty powerful just being on slow mode. Your 8 year old son is a good camera man. Yea I admit I run my string around 8 inches and I also squeeze the trigger also. That does make sense, but I never used a battery operated one yet so you made some real good points. Thank you for the tip brother 👊💯
For sure Bill. That is one of battery power equipment you can use in the lawn care field. The other is hedge trimmers. Blowers and mowers in my opinion aren’t there yet. 👍🏼
@@TheLawnFellas I can't believe you did all that and only lost one bar and the bar came back. Your right definitely can use that in the lawn care field. Yes and the hedge trimmers. Yea I can see why blowers and mowers wouldn't not powerful enough at least not yet 👊💯
Interesting perspective, and if you're edging or trimming against objects you don't need a long line anyway. Just step 3 inches closer. Might as well save the battery! From what I can tell, the people who get into trouble with this overheating might be running their line longer and stressing the motor ... but what's concerning there is that this is a 14-16" trimmer, and you're staying safer by only using yours as a 10" trimmer. I have the big 35cc Honda but it's a pain to use for quick trims because it must always be used with the handlebars and harness. I think this M18 might be a good companion for it and leave the Honda to the brush.
I've got an acre yard and have to do inside and outside my fence - I go through a few 9.0 batteries (slow speed) - and depending on if it's hot out or not the batteries can overheat and shut down for thermal protection - still enjoy using my milwaukee trimmer though - but that being said the weight does wear on you, at least for my size of yard and having to deal with non-flat terrain here in TN. Curious why you don't use the guard - you are manually trimming your line to that length everytime?
Honestly I love the trimmer it’s awesome. Obviously if I was doing a major hillside with higher weeds I would pull out my gas trimmer. As for the guard. In my opinion it waste trimmer line and doesn’t protect much. I am more concerned about protecting a window in front of me but I recommend leaving it on. For the trimmer line if I bump my head and it’s to long I just flip it up and wind it down a little no biggie. As you can see I trimmed my lawn and never bumped my head once. 👍🏼
@@TheLawnFellas i've been using the trimmer for ages so not much I personally gained (Not saying that in a negative way) but for anyone who may watch that doesn't use electric I can see great value in it for them...only gas yard tool i've got as this point is my riding mower, otherwise I am pretty much all Milwaukee - no 60 gallon air compressor anymore either because electrics work as good or better for most air uses as well
