One of those RAD daggers are a dream dagger for me to own. Just picked up a cheap SA dagger that’s not in the best shape, but couldn’t say no to the price!
Are you provide double streams in both English and Russia? You and your team are dagger monsters :)… more 2,5 housr on-line… Saw in Russia and now, took much pleasure!
Hi Alex! Nice video. Thank you! May I ask how much you paid for those SS chain daggers in this condition. I would like to know the current value of this daggers. I myself own Type 1 and Type 2. In absolutely perfect condition. I fought for them for over 4 years and finally gradually won. I would never have believed that it would be possible to get them. I can send you photos if you interested to see . I would like that Himmler. I saw it at the last show here near London and held it in my hand, but it turned out like a puzzle, and the price of £5000 was special. I also own 2 Herder SS daggers, one with a half inscription and one with an erase inscription, but with the owner's SS number. SA full of Rohm also . What is the value of this Eickhorn dagger? also I would like to ask you if you are going to England as well. I have a few pieces for sale. if you were interested Nice video, take care thank you. Josef;-)
The short police bayonet likely isn't a Third Reich period piece. There were also short police bayonets during the Weimar period and these bayonets would not need to be cut down (obviously), just the emblem replaced on the grip and on this piece the clamshell was left untouched. This makes sense - if it was TR period why would the Weimar clamshell be used?
I must say that is some remarkably beautiful equipment. Impeccable craftsmanship and so well preserved. The history is fascinating also.
Thank you very much!
You did good Alex 🙂
I did not make SOS this year. Maybe next year I can score some good daggers. Great video
