Another great product but would have liked to see a water bottle pocket on the side. would make it even better.
Ich habe mir den Tropicfeel Shelter bestellt und ausgiebig getestet. Bestellt hatte ich den Shelter, das Daypack und das Toiletry Bag. Zu mir, damit man das ganze in etwa nachvollziehen kann:
Männlich, 165 groß, athletisch/muskulös und langjährige Erfahrung als Backpacker (mehrmals den Jakobsweg in Spanien gelaufen, langjährige Backpacking Reisen in aller Welt).
Hier ist mein kompaktes Feedback dazu:
## Daypack ##
Pro:
-Sieht echt gut aus
-Viel Platz im inneren
-Straps vorne um außen noch was zu befestigen
Neutral:
-Material wirkt recht hochwertig
-Gummiartiger und starker Geruch innen (verfliegt evtl. mit der Zeit)
-Kleine Tasche für Notebook, die aber mitunter zu klein ist
Kontra:
-Verarbeitung an den Schultergurten ist katastrophal. Ich hatte an beiden Seiten so eine heftige Schnittkante, dass die mega gekratzt hat
-Ganz nett dass die Schultergurte mit den gleichen Metallhacken befestigt sind wie überall. Nett auch die Werbung die eine Person am Strand in Tank Top zeigt. Aber hat das Prinzip mal irgendjemand ausprobiert? Die Hacken scheiden
bei einem Tanktop gut in die Haut und machen das tragen unmöglich
-Die Schultergurte sind viel zu dick. Bei so einem dünnen Hecht wie in der Werbung macht das ja Sinn. Aber sobald man auch nur ein wenig Muskeln auf der Brust hat, war's das
Fazit: Tolle Idee, aber wie auch der Shelter technischen Versagen auf ganzer Linie
Fazit: Das Täschchen habe ich behalten, da ich für meine Bedürfnisse kein anderes auf dem Markt bisher gefunden habe. Ich würde allerdings nicht den vollen Preis dafür ausgehen
Gesamtfazit: Tolle Marke, tolles Marketing, teilweise hochwertige Produkte. Auch die Präsentation ist super. Aber ich frage mich ernsthaft, ob irgendjemand diese Produkte mal praktisch genutzt oder getestet hat. Was das eigentlich Kern Thema (Rucksack) angeht, sind die leider absolut nicht zu gebrauchen.
Vielen Dank für die Bewertung. Ich denke nach dem Design für Schultergurt schränkt sich die Kundschaft sehr ein, vielleicht nur als Add-on-bag für den großen oder für eine kleine Frau unter 160 mit schmaler Schulter, die gerne ab u zu mal mit ihrem Mann wandern geht. Dann muss außer einer Trinkflasche und eine Kamera nichts schweres rein.

How many inner pockets does the daypack have? Does it have a big pocket big enough for a small laptop or iPad to slide into? Thanks
Hey! Thanks for your questions, it's a basic daily backpack so there are not as many pockets as our other bigger robust backpacks. It holds 12L of volume and there is an inner elastic divider that can hold up to a 13 inch laptop.
Hi I was wandering if there is a product who allows to fit camera brand in this bag ? Maybe a camera cube or something else, if there is nothing, do you plan to create a new daypack for photographer ? I m sure I m not the only one to wish that
Camera cubes fit most backpacks: Nest, Shell, Shelter, Hive...Our team is also made of photographers so we always tend to have this in mind!

Hey can this be attached on the front when wearing the shelter pack? I like the option of being able to have the day pack in front of me in crowded places.

It really is a shame that new accesories, such as this one, can't be attached to existing Tropicfeel backpacks such as Shell or Hive. Instead of rewarding buyers who have supported you from the beginning, the fact that new accessories are not compatible with previous backpacks only encourages empty consumerism that goes against the sustainability values of a brand like yours. Especially since the hooks could easily have been placed elsewhere to be able to attach this Waterproof Daypack to the other backpacks.
Hey, thanks so much for your comment and feedback! The Waterproof Daypack is only compatible to attach to Shelter as Shelter is our largest backpack made for the longer backpack trips away, the dimensions are bigger and therefore the daypack can fit on to it.
Our other backpack products were designed to have different accessories attach to the front with Magnetic Fidlock tech and so the daypack, along with the sizing being the same as the other backpacks, would not be compatible.
That being said, you buy the daypack separate, so if you wanted to bring it with you as a separate backpack, you can.
