Great vid so usefull 🙏🙏
great tutorial~~~~~~fianlly got it
excellent again my friend!!
thanks Glyn!
I love your music. I would appreciate if you could put the lyrics in the description since I know little English and I don't understand the lyrics in their entirety, put them in "You can call out" and in "Better", which are my favorite songs. Keep making more great music and content
Hey man, thanks a lot for the kind words. I've put the lyrics in there now. I really appreciate you listening.
60,000 / BPM will be the length of a quarter note in ms
True. And there are pre-delay and decay time calculator on the internet. It's crucial, because we are used to hear a specific delay before we hear the reverb.
thanks for sharing guys!
Could you do a vocal track setup and what effects you use ? ❤️😎🎸
Try the Valhalla plate also . It's awesome
What are some of your favourite reverb plugins?
Valhalla supermassive, TAL reverb, MReverb 😀
Trueverb by waves & valhalla
Hi, why can't I use the Valhalla reverb on a mono channel. I can use the V delay mono but the reverb only on stereo bus. Thanks
I'm trying this reverb but I'm still fairly new to music production... so I have all my leads in one buss, I have a centered vocal, one panned completely left, one half left, one half right and one completely right, I put this reverb on the buss, so you'd think that it would apply it on the panned sound, but somehow it sounds really messed up and like the reverb stays centered
not just that, on the tracks that are completely panned left and right, it sounds like there's extra delay...
I would create a separate fx track for the reverb and echo. My thought is better for tucking the reverb bit behind the vocal for more in the face while still getting more bigger sound.
hey dude i wonder if you have any advice. I have the demo version and some times like mid track it like completely cuts out and i wondered if it was something i was doing or how i can avoid this thanks
I believe the manufacturers intentionally do that for all their demos. It's just a safeguard i think, you would have to pay the $50 to stop that from happening. They should have a FAQ page that might have some answers as well!
Hi, what is the name of the song? Is it released? Sounds interesting.
Divide 60k by 2 several times till u get to 82 or 41 or desired delay
Hey there. If you could find out the correct calculation for setting pre-delay and make a super simple video about it, that'd be fantastic. I've watched other videos on the subject but it's still unclear to me. It seems like a really critical part of the process (in a professional scenario). Thanks!!!
@DELORM Amazing - thanks for that. I really appreciate it!
60000/ the bpm of your song…or use a website such as predelay calcuator.
You can build a good vocal doubler using free vahalla supermassive delay for free.
That’s a lot of effects on the vocal!
whatever it takes to get the feeling you’re looking for :)
he really paid for it
The correct calculation is 60,000 / Bpm of your song
Hello will this plug work in GarageBand?
paid plugins will still work in GB. Once you're on track, open the editor, you'll see these little 'blue pill 'like things, those are the plugins. You can add the valhalla reverb there.
A 16th note is 107ms at 140bpm. 7500/BPM will give you a 32th
Hi Brother, Hope you are well. I am a subscriber of your channel. I need Valhalla Vintageverb Pre activated or crack software. Do you have it?
Hey man, no I don’t, I use the paid version
what about Seventh Heaven reverb?
never tried that one
The number you divide by is 60,000
thanks for letting us know.
60,000 thousand divide by your tempo
60,000
60000:bpm
cool, thanks Rick!
Seems like everyone talking about vintage and I bought room of any bloody reason.....
Me too
Why are you applying the Valhalla Reverb direct to the input chain of the vocal track? If you're making a 'how to' video you should really be applying the reverb plugin to an Aux track and sending the signal via a Bus. Same goes for all time based plugin's. This is not setting a good example for people who are new to music production.
Not necessarily. Of course, you can send reverb, I do that a lot as well to have more flexibility but if you don't need that flexibility for a specific instance, it's fine to put it as an insert on the track. You should do whatever sounds best. It doesn't matter if it's an insert or an aux. I'll take an insert any day if it sounds better than an aux. I'll also take an aux over an insert if that sounds better. You see what I mean? You're letting your "technical" right and wrong cloud your judgment of the end result.
Plenty of folks use it on an insert. Depends on the track and it's needs.
