Detroit rap legend Dex Osama was murdered in 2015, five days before releasing his debut album. This is his story. Thank you to Queen Pfeifer for sharing the story of her son with us and allowing us to make this.

Facts. I had a dream of me going into a dark direction with blood-red water and black sky a day before I smoked some weed that happened to be laced with something. That WHOLE day felt off leading up to that moment. I almost had a heart attack and almost died that day but I was given a second chance.

It seems like Dex was beginning to realize how he was manifesting things by what he was saying. Esp when his boy said he didn't like Death On Me cause it haunted him. He knew the energy of what he was saying was beginning to haunt him, but as he stated, he only wanted to talk about what he was really living. It can become an endless loop. You talk about what you're experiencing, but you also keep manifesting that at the same time. It sounds like he got caught up somewhere in between giving genuine music and not getting caught up in the manifestations of it.

I get teary eyed every time I come across dex.. he reminds me of myself before I witnessed my sister die then I got closer to God and somewhat had a way out . When I was 12 I got involved in gangs , fights , writing bad raps and dreams of hell but still wanted to do bad . God is able to change anyone. Even as a adult I've had struggles avoiding the devil. The difference is now my spiritual eyes are open. Before I pull that trigger or think about it, I think about my mother and son and see their eyes .
