He said "DO NOT BUY URGENT CONSUMER ALERT!" only to get our attention. I watched about 15 seconds at the beginning and noted the number of thumbs up and thumbs down. That told me the video wasn't worth watching.
Maybe you can help me out. My problem is I can't scan. The printer states "Cannot Connect to the email server. Check Server Connection" But when I check the Network connection its shows all PASS I have the WF-3733 model.
I am really bad at printer set up and wouldn't have been able to set mine up without this video so thank you! I'm sure glitches will happen later but I was able to finally print important documents and this video saved my life!
I have this printer and yes, the cartridges were depleted so fast that i was in denial. The tip with it is to get a ciss ink tank system for it. This way you can use epson or other inks into the ink tank. I have used mine for the last 5 years with the ciss ink tank. I have never had to repair it, except for some paper jams now and then when i use some brands of paper. It's a very fast printer for an inkjet.
Bought this in Sept '20 it's now Feb '22 and haven't had any issues yet. *knock on wood* I bought the 4yr GS replacement warranty for peace of mind. Hopefully I don't have to use it. For me, setup was easy and my kids said it's easy to use.
I can only talk about my experience. Printer was easy to hook up, printed great copies, no crazy ink usage. Had it set up with direct cable to my PC. No problems for I'guessing 18-24 months. Regularly downloaded updates with no problems. BUT this last download on 08/2020 has been nothing but trouble. I have wasted hours and hours trying to get it to print again. I've wasted more time than the printer is worth. I would have given it 5 stars before Aug/2020, but zero stars now. Just sayin. . . .

You should have used the printer to see for yourself if the printer has issues. Basically the only thing you've told me is - Your review is simply LAZY and is nothing more than you going on line to google and Amazon to review those comments. You won't find me subscribing to your YOU-TUBE site.
This printer and the others 37xx models are sophisticated, features loaded printers and are not noob friendly. Ppl that have problems with them is due to their noobness.
I've had a WF-3270 for 2.5yrs and this printer, when it works, has good print quality. The problem is the price/value of the ink. Also requires you to use ONLY their ink which is very expensive. The paper handling has become a nightmare for us. It just stops pulling paper from the tray....tried everything including cleaning the rollers, refill tray to full with paper, adjust paper tray, etc. Nothing works, it just won't pull paper from the tray. Usually I can get it to work by reseating the duplexer, but now that doesn't work at all. Will scan, etc., just won't pick up the paper to print.

Do not buy any printer from Epson. If you do have it and is using 3rd party ink don’t ever update the firmware. Epson will disable your printer and you will need to buy their $65 ink to be able to use the printer. This printer will go into the landfill. I would rather buy another printer than spend my money to buy any other epson product.
Never use the Automatic Document Feeder, It only scans one side and breaks easily. Also I am disappointed that this machine has the most expensive ink cartridges out of all the printers we owned

I get high quality generics for my Wf-3540 at www.peachtreeink.com/ I usually end up with getting about half of my money back as store credit at Office Depot by recycling the cartridges when I'm done with them. I actually paid for 3/4 of my WF-3540 with the store credit from my previous printer. My Workforce printer is over 6-7 years old. I have been using Peachtree Ink for nearly a decade.
just bought this off fb marketplace for $50. Setup was easy and dis nozzle clean/calibration. Way better than Canon MG5720, which gave me a lot of issuea. Never buy a Canon printer

Caught this video 6 months after buying an Epson 3720. It worked fine for awhile but now cannot print anything from laptop, tablet or phone. Very annoyed and disappointed. Even tried the USB connection and that failed. Video was good with the basic mechanical set up but does not explain anything about the Wi-Fi set up. Like I've said, printer worked for a few months from my devices and now nothing. Like to know why and how to solve the problem before I smash the damn thing....

I ordered ink for this on 2/25. The package started in Carson Ca about 20 minutes from my home. it's been 6 days and since then and it has been shipped to BroomField, CO. Henderson, CO. Chambers, AZ. and is now at the second stop facility in Phoenix AZ. When contacting customer service they said this is the normal shipping route for ground and the package should arrive within 7 days of purchase. Horrible customer service. The ink was almost out when I purchased the printer and the printer is an overall piece of junk. 0 out of 5 stars.
worst printer ever I have this printer and you cannot print in black ink if any of your other ink cartridges are empty you have to spend 50$ to buy color ink to print in black and white....
worst printer ever. it disconnects randomly and wont let me print for hours at a time . and kills my ink super fast. and it has none starter skipping while printing

Here's a statement from personal experience, not someone who interpolates Amazon reviews. It has a automatic document feeder that is full duplex (automatically reads both sides of the page) and I actually digitized some of my college texts that way so I only had to take a tablet computer to class. I’ve used Eason printers for a decade and have a xp830 now. I use my xp830 constantly. Printing DVDs and pictures. Never had a problem. The ratings are nonsense.

You never show how to setup the fax wifi settings or LAN line. Because I'm having difficulty setting up my fax

How to set to print only in black ink?
Go to printer settings and click print in grayscale.

The ink cartridges that came with my printer are see-through and yours are different from mine is it better to only use Epson ink cartridges?

Most colour inkjets with fixed heads, from every manufacturer, have been like this since Adam was a boy. Nothing new here.

On the main screen press scan, then press email, then press keyboard. Type the email address in, then press send. 🙂
