can we talk about how hannah didn't react to "when the woe is me stops working, I bet your songs won't sound the same" like when I heard it I was freaking out and she's so calm, it's like almost a crime.

I am not English speaking so I had to look it up... And google says it is used in the Bible and in Shakespeare and means something like: Feel sorry for me (= woe is me), but in an overdramatic way...
Maybe someone here can explain it to me too🤣🙈 I have not heard it before.

@@riduanaqil1452 basically means that the person this song is about played the victim card despite obviously being guilty of cheating, so when they stop playing the victim card, everyone will realize they were in the wrong
I'm half expecting Hannah to cry during Set Me Free, it's so emotional and powerful
so this video is actually really cool for the budget joshua had to deal with. he only had a limited amount of money to film all three music videos so they are all one takes. when joshua is with that band it resembles basically his cast mates knowing what’s happening but won’t necessarily acknowledge it and treat him differently(none of the band mates are looking at him resembling the drama happening while filming his show) and the flashing lights when he confronts that girl resembles that public relationship being in the spotlight and how he had to deal with it alone(flashing like paparazzi lights and he is in a almost shock when the blonde girl leaves, making it too much for him to handle). the video is very simple but really tells this story and his experience very well

What I noticed is that there’s literally no furniture in the house, which could mean that the relationship never had a future/never had a home (if that makes sense).
And one time in the background you can see the girl following someone in a room, which I guess refers to her cheating/not being serious/leading him on?

It’s not just about his ex tho, it’s also abt his past trauma and I greatly admire him for his strength and courage. He’s an inspiration for all ppl, regardless of age, the amount he must sacrifice of his privacy and relationships is just remarkable!
I recently went through a big thing with someone I thought was my best friend. All of Joshua’s songs have helped so much as they are SO RELATABLE. Literally every stage I went through there was a song.
Can we also appreciate for a moment that Joshua Bassett is going to spend 100% of the earnings from crisis to a mental health organisation. That is incredible 👏🏻
