    “They” claim Diana wasn’t very smart but I think she was incredibly smart and intuitive. She knew her destiny was not to be Queen but to be in people’s hearts and that she was moving the royals kicking & screaming into a modern era. Diana will be remembered for centuries imo.

      The Spencers were glorified sheep farmers. Glorified by their female relatives position as mistresses to Charles II. The Spencers were always climbers. They tried for centuries to marry into the Royal Family. Diana's ancestors were mistresses to Charles II. Keeping Diana's (inherited) mental instability and anger issues secret prevented her from being crossed off the list of bride prospects.

      I felt bad for Diana. The whole wedding and marriage was heartbreaking when the truth came out. They had no chance. She had no chance. It was a zero sum game. It can't be easy to navigate all the baggage that comes with royal life and its people, expectations, rules, and protocols - and the icing on the cake was deception with CPB.

      Alot of these videos claim the Spencers were actual royalty. If they were, Diana herself would have been born a princess. As it was, she was merely the daughter of a mid-level peer. She would have had an uneventful life had Charles not married her and plucked her from privileged obscurity. Without their royal connection, the Spencers probably wouldn't still have the estate where she is buried today.

      As for Diana's pedigree, the Spencer branch of the Osborne family is also full of women who achieved far more than was expected. In my branch of the family, there is a phenomenon known as the Osborne Woman. Our family motto reads "Disciplina Ministerium, Misericordia": Discipline, Service, Compassion". Diana embodied that motto. Our family goes back to the early Plantagenet dynasty through the Suarts. We are a family whose women have always been born before their time and changed whatever surrounded us for the better.

      I agree, he's tarnish his mom's legacy, using her death as collateral damage, Meghan
      making Mockery of the Monarchy that Diana loved and was Loyal too,she never
      degraded the Mockery! Her problem was being used by Charles who couldn't keep his pants on around Camilla! He broke her heart!

      @@peterlawrence6815 Well stated. There should have been a few red flags for Diana's adoring fans though. First - Diana was upset and hurt when Charles answered a reporter "whatever in love means" secondly Diana finds a bracelet with the letter C entwined a C for Charles and another C for Camilla. But NO it wasn't a bracelet. It was a pair of Coco Chanel cuff links from lord Mountbatten! Thirdly Charles tells Diana that he will not give up on Camilla. And what does Diana do???? SHE MARRIES CHARLES!!! Yes, I know it's too late to back out - or is it that Diana's motives were deplorable? Diana's insincerity came out. Wonderful wedding but miserable marriage. Her sweet plans backfired on her.... 😢😮

    The Spencers have lineage in England, the Windsors are Saxe Coburg Gotha, pure German.
    The original Peoples of Britain were a migration of Hunter Gathers influenced by Basques, like the Irish and Welsh, the invasions of Germanic replaced the Male DNA to less than 2% of the original, the Female continued + Admix.
    The Romans, Vikings/Danes, Anglos, Saxons, Jutes and Normans, were all of Germanic lineage. Yet the original bloodline carries on in the continued People's of Britain/England.
    The Spencers hold this bloodline, and now Diana's son's do as well.
    This is why she was chosen for Charles.

      *The "German" Windsors are descended from an uninterrupted line of royalty since William the Conqueror. Their ancestors include Alfred the Great, Robert the Bruce, Edward III, John of Gaunt, Edward IV, Henry VII, Mary Queen of Scots, James VI of Scotland and I of England. They didn't need the Spencers to improve their pedigree.*

    In America, we only heard on TV that Diana was a "rags to riches" Cinderella type of girl. A nursery worker who was poor - I am serious as this was what we were told, more or less. I had no idea she was of noble birth. But I do have a question. If the Spenser and Diana hated the Royal family so much and talked like the Royal family were such horrible people, why why why in the earth did she marry into that???? Why did the other Spencer's not talk her out of it??? If I remember during her funeral, her brother gave a eulogy and literally ripped into the Royal family to shreds!! I never forgot that. He was so hatefully angry at the Queen and Charles and the rest of the family I thought he was going to explode. It was harrowing. But of course, she was loved here in America very much.

    • @andyj8518
      @andyj8518 4 месяца назад +3

      The Spencers didn't hate the royal family. Some members of the Spencer family were angry about her treatment during the marriage, some were not. But prior to that, the Spencer kids used to play with the Windsor kids and certainly the Spencer family had high hopes that one of their daughters would marry one of the princes. Diana said she was earmarked for Andrew by her family and I think things would have worked out quite well like that.
