This is terrifying and cool at the same time! I googled the name meaning, cos all I could think is you'd be saying the Pater Noster getting into it, and found out the engineering firm in my town installed the first one that matched the Paternoster lift description 😲
I think it’s the perpetual movement that keeps it running but I could be wrong. Electric bill is expensive enough for a building to waste its power to something that nobody uses.
no accidents? who says? Anywhere else in the world, [not USA] people are expected to be smart. If your not, you do not become a protected class. In USA it is no longer survival of fittest, it is proliferation of the dumbest morons who can breed the most.
It’s actually a very smart design and very efficient, there’s no way of hurting yourself on this. There’s a gap to prevent your finger or limb being trapped between the top of the elevator and the roof of each floor, and no gap between the side walls of the elevator and the wall of the floors, and there’s also no gap to fall though when you get off. Genius,
@@XavierAway that thing is lifting a couple thousand pounds so hope they have something better than sensing resistance unless it turns off when fat people hop on.
Its all fun until you trip on the elevator and goes up
They have old safety mechanisms that stop it from going up if something gets stuck like you foot
It´s dangerous. it will be too late when the safety mechanism is activated.
@@ImBogey_ your toes are gone before the safety mechanism gets activated 😂
@@TheKruns has there ever been a accident?
@@TheKruns better late the never though
Best elevator!
@@MartinProavis yes. So interesting and not for the very young and not very old

wait until you miss a step and you only get halfway in and next thing you know your crushed in half.
@@LeviAckerman-hk8im
ik its a year later but it has a safety mechanism that stops the whole thing if someone gets stuck + manual stopping as well.
Multiple people have died trying to use these wtf r u talking about
@@anthonycucci9206 not true
@@anthonycucci9206 there have been 0 accidents bro
Wow Nice place & How are you friend
Why’d she bend down to wave if it didn’t even go that far down yet?
Oh sweet we should have these here in North America
What happen if nobody use the elevator in the day ? It consume electricity for nothing ??

What happens if you miss your floor?
If you miss your floor, stay put and wait until it goes back there again.
Surprising that there are still no accidents

Let me see someone that trips and is half out the elevator
@@MindBodySoulOk it has a safety feature that cuts power/brakes the belt if it senses too much resistance, i.e. someone stuck.

Uses alot of power
Nope. Nope. Nope. Not an effing chance.. regular elevators make me claustrophobic af. This may actually kill me
Not for everyone
This is fast
Cool👍
So you can actually go down to go up.
Exactly
Wauuuuu
These kind of elevators seem dangerous for elder people plus people with disabilities would be able to use them. 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🙏🏽
You said it right. Not safe for elderly, kids and disabled.
