One of my all-time favorite Phineas and Ferb jokes is the entire scene involving a helicopter fight and a song which explains in detail that the phrase "helicopter fight" in this instance refers to a fight taking place inside a helicopter and NOT two helicopters fighting each other. And how comedy like yours is why I’m as funny as I am today. Your comedy shaped who I am, and it’s shaping who my son is and it’s kind of an incredible gift. I didn’t have an easy childhood and it was cool to be able to turn to SpongeBob and Phineas and Ferb and a surprising amount of your other shows I’m learning. When Phineas and Ferb was in it's infancy, I would have it on during dinner. My Mom, sister and I loved the songs.
When Squirrels In My Pants first aired, my Mom cracked up, and she would tell others about it. When Come Home Perry first aired, I was laughing at the "Change my name to Larry" line for literally hours like that. This made my mentally challenged sister laugh too.
Later my Mom gave her some medicine that she had to drink and I was giggling so my sister started, while drinking, and it made it spill down her face. My Mom got mad and was like: "ZACHARY!" Ha ha!

There is some truth to this. Because a parent's laugh is contagious to their kids.

To this day, one of my favorite jokes in Phineas and Ferb is when Buford is like:
"Couldn't a gathering just as easily turn into a shindig or a hootanany?"
    And Isabela says:
"This one has more of a storming of the Bastille kinda vibe."
    Gets me every time!

yeah, that teaches you quickly that commas are your friend

Like ATLA, it never assumed kids were too dumb to understand it. It was clever and kids loved it.

I always loved Doof's jokes. Other cartoons assume that kids are dumb and therefore need to dumb down jokes, but Phineas and Ferb never treated the audience like that. I also loved the reoccurring jokes where Doof was getting too much alimony from Sharline. Also the "Give me your money, too lazy to get a job" song was gold.

As a kid I always loved grammar jokes
though that may be because one of my grandmas was a librarian and english teacher and the other was an english tutor and ran a book club.

when I was younger my favourite part was probably when theyre in hat giant maze or whatever and need to guess the amount of Jellybeans in a jar and Buford does something its sort of vague but he eats them all? or all but a few then rights the clear number down and when asked for his working he says "give it a few hours" .....poop jokes....that will never get old

One of my favorite jokes is when prison guards _and guard dogs_ literally dog-piled on people. The dogs joined in on the dogpile! See, it's a pun but it's also a visual gag.
