It depends what perspective you give it... like brothers o father y daughter it's very your thing (the shingeki parody episode, she compares it to a tick it sticks to the sexual parts) Those ages were only at the beginning and I don't remember if they were canon
By the way the guys in the black coats are the police/military force of the series (the main 3 are almost as important as the main characters). They aren’t my referencing Lelouch, those are their normal uniforms although sometimes they can be seen without them on. The video also covered all 367 episodes of Gintama (the series is over unfortunately). It just doesn’t have scenes from the specials/movies. The Final Movie came out in 2021 and adapted the last couple chapters of the final arc, it was amazing. It’s my favorite anime for sure since both the comedy and serious moments deliver. There also definitely is a main plot/end goal for the series which you’ll find out much later. The early episodes start off as one-offs but eventually you’ll get longer arcs. Maybe you’ll give it a chance one day cause it seems like y’all would love it. Gintama is a really high rated series and the main character Gintoki is beloved since he’s a contrast to most popular shounen protagonists and just a respectable character.
If I remember it correctly, that Gintama's attack on titan reference actually came first, before that chapter of titan falling down in the real Attack on Titan manga.
Gintama just never gets old. Laughing AND crying af at the same time. A bit hard selling point is that it starts slow, so it might not click with those without patience or merely seeking for actions/dramas. Dive into this show without over expectations like you’re simply living with the characters, you’ll get ALL the rewards you need. Once it happens, it’d be the most wonderful thing in life I can ever imagine. Hands down my all time favorite.

No the outfit has nothing to do with Code Geass although Code Geass has been referenced in the show before. The outfits are just based on the concepts of when the shinsengumi began to modernise, not really in....reference....to anything
