It won't be long now because it's been a slow-building process, which is very prudent instead of rushing it. Once he finally turns on MJF and if he's used properly, look out.
The timing of this interview was perfect. There is a big career in front of Wardlow. As always great interview. Thanks Chris for always keeping us all entertained and allowing us fans the opportunity to meet these bigger then life stars.
Wardlow confirming there are cookies and cake in catering is one of the most endearing things ever! I also loved the tension between him and Hager in all the Inner Circle/MJF interactions. That silent, brooding tough guy standoff was comedy gold!
Yeah that was money haha when they were on the Vegas strip and no matter what they were doing they were always staring each other down in the background 😂😂
Really loved this conversation! The man bet on himself & has a great support system that has led him to becoming a HUGE star (figuratively & literally). Keep up the awesome work, Chris!
One of the most likeable big men I've seen in a long time...can't wait to see his career take off and he can definitely capture every championship in AEW...the sky's the limit
He's the guy I see in AEW that can transcend pro wrestling and become a movie star and all that. I think he's gonna be the guy who takes AEW to the next level mainstream as long as AEW books him right which I think they will
I “grew up” watching Wardlow in Pittsburgh from when I was 13 or 14 until now and IWC where Britt Baker and Him came from was my first exposure to independent wrestling and I can not even begin to tell you how kind of a person Wardlow is, nor how incredible of a wrestler he is. I met him again in Pittsburgh in august when it was here and he remembered me and we talked for a long time. He is going to be THE guy in AEW soon.
Back in November of this year I was tux shopping in Erie, PA and the clerk at the Men’s Warehouse noticed my Bryan Danielson tee shirt and started talking about how it was nice to meet a fan of wrestling, and that he was a wrestler himself. I anticipated that he’d be an independent worker, which is super cool in its own right, but then he showed me locker room pictures on his phone of him and people like Britt Baker, the Hardy’s, Ricky Steamboat, Wardlow, (most pertinently), and several others, and I was legitimately super impressed. He introduced himself as Big League John McChesney. He told me that Wardlow had been in his promotion, Revenge Pro Wrestling, a couple years ago, and that Wardlow was one of the hardest working men in the business. He told me to wait and see, that Wardlow was on the upswing, and that he was gonna be HUGE. I’m glad to say he was right.
As a huge fan of Wardlow the character it’s so great to see and learn about the man himself. Didn’t think I could like Wardlow more than I already did but Chris you put him over just as much as CM Punk did through this amazing interview!
I am so happy for this interview! I mean I love all of your interviews, Chris but my goodness, I have been DYING to see this interview with Wardlow. Thank you for all you do! Wardlow just oozes charisma! I would love to see him get a HUGE push in the future!
Yet another awesome interview Chris. You really have a way of allowing your guests to relax and just have a conversation that brings out their true character. It's gonna be epic when Wardlow and Max finally mix it up.
Funny how Wardlow talks about Batista being an inspiration as far as bodybuilding. Wardlow is like the modern day version of Evolution Batista. Still waiting for him to give Max the thumbs down and power bomb him through a table.
Broooooooo you made my heart happy knowing about Middlefield! He's not kidding when he says not many people know about it.. I actually went to high school with good Ole Mike Wardlow lol hes a good dude.. so good to see him doing well after all these years
I am now a big fan of Wardlow thanks to this interview. As you said, it has been a great month for Wardlow, and I pray he doesn't get injured and that he would keep going and get over more.
I just needed to make a second comment just to appreciate how subtle this wardlow turns on mjf story has been the expressions tell you everything you need to know and its not over done its a wrestling story told through subtle reactions and expressions which we don't see alot now a days and I think when WARDLOW vs MJF officially happens its gonna be a really good match
CLEVELAND ON THE MAP! I actually met Warlow in the Jack's Casino in Cleveland late 2021. He was a very cool and genuine dude. Shook hands, small chat, and even took a pic.
He seems like such a nice guy. I'm very happy for his success and I can't wait to see more from him in 2022. I'm lucky I got his signature from the winter is coming toy drive.
Its funny he mentions Batista as an inspiration....this dude reminds me so much of him and hopefully when he turns face he can have a similar level of impact like Batista did when he had his face turn.
I love the fact that the silent strongman on TV is TRULY one of the most insightful, impressionable minds in the game today. MASSIVE Wardlow mark here...will be for a long time.
I met Wardlow at a meet and greet in chicago during all out week, and he was by far so humble and great to talk to. Can’t wait to see where he goes from here!
When AEW was grounded in Jax..I've ran into Wardlow at the Bailey's gym where I work out and he's such a cool dude..gave me work out advice and just an all around good human
They are doing a great job at building him. Finally getting some spotlight... and looking strong as well. He would’ve beat punk if not for mjf and that’s awesome. The powerbomb symphony is working super well also. When he finally does break away from mjf the fans will love this dude. He’s gonna be a star for them.
Amazing interview. Wardlow is one of the few people in AEW who has me captivated. It's easy to believe that this could could tear through the entire roster in any company.
I've been waiting on this one! Being from Ohio and his hometown I'm incredibly happy for Wardlow. I attended Dynamite last night in Cleveland. Big support for him! He's a cool dude. Awesome interview! Glad to see you both rep for Ohio haha. Thanks for the interview!
This is the guy that can compete with whoever WWE has as their face of the company... It's cool seeing this guy's career because I don't see anybody stopping him for awhile... He's a main eventer and a major talent
Awesome interview I've been watching wrestling all my life and this is a special athlete I'm from Cleveland Ohio too and its good to see someone else make it as well Awesome
Wardlow seems like a great guy. So refreshing to see his overall outlook is so grounded and grateful. Makes you just want all the best for him that much more. Great athlete as well.
This guy reminds me of the Roman Reigns of AEW. Think he could have a hell of a face turn then an even better heel turn a few years after. Definitely cheering for the dude.
I saw Wardlow in an interview in a local TV station promoting the Community drive and It was the first time I saw Wardlow talk and I was impressed by how well spoken he was. I was damn that guy can be the top guy in AEW and I could see him on a talk show.
Man 10 minutes in im saying this is a wonderful interview chris WARDLOW seems like a really humble genuine good human being and hopefully this man absolutely powerbombs mjf into an oblivion sooner or later this makes me like WARDLOW even more I understand what hes talking about the way he grew up and stuff and hes really relatable
Great Wrestler with a bright future in front of him!!! I was hooked from the beginning and am glad they give him more time now so that he can transform and rise.
Wardlow seems like such a genuine guy, a true fan of wrestling, and a very disciplined man. I see nothing but a bright future for this man. He’s got something you just can’t teach. I can’t even explain it. He’s got the “it” factor
It seems like DMD really put a lot of people in AEW. I’ve heard a few mention that she mentioned them to Tony,/Cody. Chris you’re absolutely amazing, I love listening to your interviews. You definitely deserve more followers.
Awesome interview!! I've been waiting to see this whole interview since the Clips on CVV Clips have been coming up(If you're not subscribed to CVV Clips get on it!). I've wanted to know more about Wardlow since I've started watching him. Thanks for another great interview. Keep em coming.
How long until Wardlow turns on MJF? 👀👀
It’ll be soon!
2-4 Weeks
It won't be long now because it's been a slow-building process, which is very prudent instead of rushing it. Once he finally turns on MJF and if he's used properly, look out.
Never!
sir, how dare you allege such a thing
It's so cool how Dave Batista was his body building role model, and here on TV it looks like his face turn is going just like Dave's did.
Would be cool if he paid tribute as he turns face with double thumb’s down 👎🏻👎🏻
@@peterarvanitis6497 book it Tony!!!
Came here to comment this. I hope he does the thumbs down so bad.
@@peterarvanitis6497 Nah can you imagine the shit it would get from the toxic fans?
@@xMikeyHardyx doesn't matter. Wrestling fans will go ape shit if he does the thumbs down. 😏
Push Wardlow to the moon, this man is genuine, charismatic, and not to mention a fantastic athlete. Great interview Chris.
Amen!!!
He's the guy you want the are world champion for 2 or 3 years
You can guarantee when/if Vince sees Wardlow he's gonna go after him. He's big, got the "look" and can perform.
@@PeaceDweller
Vince had a shot can't believe he blew it.
The timing of this interview was perfect. There is a big career in front of Wardlow. As always great interview. Thanks Chris for always keeping us all entertained and allowing us fans the opportunity to meet these bigger then life stars.
This dude has a big future in the industry.
This dude is so charismatic and carries himself like a top guy. He is like the best blend of Roman Reigns and Batista.
His super deep and gravely voice is great! Looks like a young thanos

This interview of Wardlow is truly deserving and amazing! He's got a big heart with a lot of MAYHEM being the WARDOG of BRUTALITY. Thank you Chris!
Lmaooo frank
Wardlow deserves the fandom tho, he's an awesome guy, and also a guy who can make it big in mainstream wrestling
