Haven't seen many videos with this guitar on RUclips, so I Figured I'd upload one. Just a short sound demo using Neural DSP Gojira. Let me know what you think!
Thank you! This is the only Solar I’ve played but it really is amazing. Fretwork is really nice and smooth, sounds MASSIVE, and is obviously gorgeous to look at. I would definitely get another solar based on my experience with this one.
Just ordered this guitar today. Been salivating over it for a few months. The solar logo inlay together with chrome hardware just looks suberb. I already have one guitar with Fishman Fluence pickups but this one will be my first Evertune equipped guitar (very excited about it).
For some reason I find myself not preferring the sound of fishman moderns.. but here, you've absolutely nailed a tone that sounds absolutely incredible. Are you using the "active" or "passive" voicing for the intro? Great playing \m/
Thanks Eric, love the video! I play mostly Kiesels or ESP but I'm looking at this very Solar model because I need a 7. I'm trying to cut down on cost but not compromise on playability or tone. How do you like the Evertune? How would you compare the quality of the Solar with your kiesels? Great playing man.
Thank you for the kind words! I personally really loved the Evertune. Almost never retuned it and really helped keep the low string from going sharp when digging in really hard when picking. My Solar was great, no issues at all. I have seen a good amount of quality control issues over the past few years with solars though (mostly micro cracks in the fretboard) but mine didn’t have that at all. All in all, I would say the quality of the solar was very good bang for your buck. I still prefer my Kiesel’s a bit more, but the solar was still one of the best guitars I’ve owned.
Nice to hear it in a mix. Thanks for posting
nice playing! :)
I'm thinking a lot about buying this A1.6 Vinter, your video is for me the confirmation that I want it too ! Awesome playing 🤘🏻

That thing is badass! Sounds amazing too!
Thanks man!

Hell yeah man, congrats! I think you’ll love it. The evertune and fishman combo make this thing a total beast of a guitar.
@@Dream_elixir_band Forgot to mention in my original comment: that's a good sounding track you got there! \m/
@@cylontoaster8222 late reply, but thank you! 🤘🏼

Thank you! That’s a big compliment. I am 99% sure I recorded with the active voicing.
Nice job bud
Thanks buddy. 🙂

Fantastic playing, if you ever move to Vancouver Island I'll gladly play rhythm and start a band with you.
Thank you for the kind words! I appreciate them. 😊
