Random Question- I currently have a 2006 Busa and the panels that you are mounting the speakers in are not smooth from the factory (have small groove design). Are your panels sanded smooth and then painted or are they fiberglass replacements as I'm wanting to paint mine to match the bike as well. (Note your's being second Gen it may have come that way I'm not sure)
Just go to sharkaudio and order a motorcycle sterio like i did for my busa. Then i cut some slots for a 4x6 on each side and mounted two of the shark speakers to the mirrors. Now it is loud enough to hear on the freeway and if you want bass like i do mount a mini sub in your back plastics. Then you still have luggage room for your tools or whatever you want to carry back there.
Where did you hook the remote wire to
How much did it drain your drain your battery?

How is your amp powered I'm trying to wire mine to the accessory switch, any suggestions?
