@@loke2144 for overdriven stuff the humbucker will sound much better fuller and fatter, for clean the humbucker will be good the sss will have more twang
If it’s your first guitar you might wanna go HSS. It’s always nice to have the humbucker in the bridge because you don’t necessarily know what you want in a guitar, so that added option might come in handy since you can play around with it. Humbuckers are nice for leads and certain solos. Also idk too much about the squire since I have a MiM fender strat but if the squire Strat is built as similarly as they say, then the neck pickup is probably going to be your go-to pickup anyways, since strats are best known for their single coil neck pick up sound. So having that humbucker option in the bridge is just a nice thing to have imo, especially for a beginner. Plus if you really, really don’t like the humbucker you can always switch back to single coil down the line
Hey Sir ....this video was really helpful...but i was wondering that how bout you, make a tutorial on this part 2:19 .......I'll feel very grateful....(:
Hey man, great video. Few questions: 1) What amp are you using? What settings is it on? Felt like mid was boosted, but I’m a noob so I can’t quite tell 2) I’m considering the HSS for the versatility (e.g. want to be able to play Muse), but the humbuckers felt very “straty” still... Any reason why? Thanks man and again, great video!
Thinking of getting this guitar as a back up for my main guitar. Would it play nice with nirvana and silverchair and stuff of that nature? also would it be good for more alt rock dinosoar jr type stuff?

hi. I heard you got a tremolo with this guitar..? I'm a bit new to electric guitars, what is a tremolo used for? is it good for beginners or not? can you also just leave it out if you wanted? thanks (:
I’ve got both of them and they are both great guitars. The fender for that strat tone, and the Ibanez has more of its own tone. I play reggae and prefer the Ibanez for my recordings just because it has a better tone for reggae.
Do you have any videos on audio interfaces for recording? And if not could you consider making one? Thinking about finding an affordable one is something I’m interested in.
If someone could help me decide between this guitar and jackson js11 dinky.I am a complete beginner and mostly into metal. My local store recomended me these two, paired with a killer amp(blackstar id core v2).The guy on the store only had this one available and played for me some clean ,blues and metal tunes and it sounded really really good.He said that this guitar isnt very capable of playing metal but the amp does all the work and it really did sound awesome.I would like to have the js11 since it specialized on metal but it would be cool to be able to play the blues and some clean tunes too.How capable is js11 of doing that and which of the two would you guys recommend for me.Thanks!
Dave Murray & Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden), Richie Blackmore, Yngwie Malmsteen, Fast Eddie Clark (Motorhead), Glenn Tipton (Judas Priest) and a host of others might differ on the opinion that Strats aren't for metal. We just looked at the Jackson and Ibanez and the Strat is what came home. Not just for metal but it does sound good on overdrive.
Love the video! I'm looking to learn how to play and wondered where I can get this guitar? I found it online for $200 but saw you got yours way cheaper. Subscribed! If you don't already, you should do beginner vids...I'd watch those.
Sounds great. I have a bullet strat, as well as expensive guitars and I still like the squier. The basswood or poplar bodies combined with the punchy and bright pickups make for quite a sound.I hear that people don’t like the sound of the pickups, but I think it is because of the pots. Nothing wrong with the quality, but many bullet strats come with 500k pots, odd for single coils.
Rob The Meat Manifesto me too honestly, I really dig the sound of the tele (and the cheaper price haha) but I’m really digging that arctic white on the strats

Partha Art & Music turn down the pickup then. It used to be a common problem in e-guitars back in the 1920’s all the way to the 1940’s. That issue was fixed by body design, but pickup is also another reason.

Ah now i don't know which vid i commented on Rob , but the roller string tree's , just found some i've had for a couple of years , not used them ...,.are they any good ?
Yes definitely a must on guitars with a tremolo/vibrato 👌
Should I get this or the Squire stratocaster SSS
Personal preference with what sound you're looking for?
@@theguitarmanifesto Some clear sound and light metal
@@theguitarmanifesto TBH I want to know if the humbucker would be a bit of a difference than the SSS
Plus if you really, really don’t like the humbucker you can always switch back to single coil down the line
should i buy this or squier bulletmustang hh for my first guitar ?
Personally I'd go for Mustang, more basic layout and short scale easy for learning guitar
@@theguitarmanifesto well thank you for answering! as a person with small hands i think i'd go for it ! 🎸
No worries at all, they're very cool guitars 🎸🤘
did they produce humming sound playing distortion
None that I noticed

Does this guitar have a tremolo bar or a whammy bar? And if it has one where do you put it?
Hey Sir ....this video was really helpful...but i was wondering that how bout you, make a tutorial on this part 2:19 .......I'll feel very grateful....(:
AWESOME JOB!!! I HAVE A FEW OF THOSE!!! OK FOR THE PRICE!!! I LEFT LIKE #8
Hey man, great video. Few questions:
1) What amp are you using? What settings is it on? Felt like mid was boosted, but I’m a noob so I can’t quite tell
2) I’m considering the HSS for the versatility (e.g. want to be able to play Muse), but the humbuckers felt very “straty” still... Any reason why?
Thanks man and again, great video!
What amp are you using?
I'm using garageband
Thinking of getting this guitar as a back up for my main guitar. Would it play nice with nirvana and silverchair and stuff of that nature? also would it be good for more alt rock dinosoar jr type stuff?
Yeah dude it would be fine with them styles although you may want to hardtail the tremolo.
The Meat Manifesto as in lock down the tremolo or get the hardtail version of the guitar?
Yes lock it down or get the hard tail model if you don't intend to use the vibrato
I have the hardtail hss bullet n I'm not gonna lie I put my made in America one on my wall n retired it. It plays whatever your skill level can play no problem and you don't have to worrie about shredding it the price is unbeatable
I wonder what it sounds like with a bit of gain
Gainier 😂😂
Just got one. Bargin.
What song were you playing it sounds great !
Thanks dude it's one of my own jams 👌🎸
@@theguitarmanifesto could you give us some tabs for it? If u want! It's like the best song I have ever heard❤️
Hey man i really want to play some of John Mayers music. I know he played on a Fender Stratocaster a while and it sounded very good. But i dont have the money to spend 700 euros on a stratocaster. Do you think a Fender Bullet Strat will give me good results for playing some of his music? Solos chords etc. Thanks in advance!!
Yeah bullet strats are awesome perfect for your needs 🎸👌
The Guitar Manifesto wow what a quick reply. You got yourself a sub. Keep up the good work. And thanks for your help. I will be playing gravity solos on that bullet strat till my hands fall off😉. Cheers!
No worries at all welcome to the channel, that's awesome let me know how you get on 👌
does hss stand for humbucker-signle-single?
Yes it does
How much does this guitar weigh in pounds?
I bought this guitar and you can choose made in China or Indonesian.! I got the white Indonesian model. I use it when I'm not playing with my Epiphone E.S.339PRO. They serve me well!!!😎Phillip Austin
hi. I heard you got a tremolo with this guitar..? I'm a bit new to electric guitars, what is a tremolo used for? is it good for beginners or not? can you also just leave it out if you wanted? thanks (:
+Bridget van der Brugge the tremolo arm let's you bend the strings, if you're a beginner just take the arm out until you have improved
thank you!
should i buy on of these or an ibanez grx70qa? i like both but need to decide.
Squier for me
Ibanez all day every day... The Grx70 is way better guitar.
I’ve got both of them and they are both great guitars. The fender for that strat tone, and the Ibanez has more of its own tone. I play reggae and prefer the Ibanez for my recordings just because it has a better tone for reggae.
Which version between this and the 2020 should I consider seriously?
Pre 2018 will have rosewood fingerboard
Do you have any videos on audio interfaces for recording? And if not could you consider making one? Thinking about finding an affordable one is something I’m interested in.
Check this video out, I recommend the focusrite Scarlett 2i2 or 2i4

+Tyler Row thanks dude, I bought my one from Rich Tone Music here in the UK. I will be doing a lot of new videos in the new year 😎🎸
Rob The Meat Manifesto Thanks, man. I appreciate the reply. I'll definitely stay tuned for more videos.
Probably the Affinity at $200, which is a step above the Bullet.
could you do one on the Cort cr50?
how heavy it is
could you please make a tutorial for your riff its amazing😍
I may start some soon had a few people ask
Sounds great. I have a bullet strat, as well as expensive guitars and I still like the squier. The basswood or poplar bodies combined with the punchy and bright pickups make for quite a sound.I hear that people don’t like the sound of the pickups, but I think it is because of the pots. Nothing wrong with the quality, but many bullet strats come with 500k pots, odd for single coils.
Yes I agree the pickups are fine, I like to upgrade the pots and capacitors
The Guitar Manifesto nice, yeah It is very fun to do so haha
I’m stuck between a bullet tele and a bullet strat. Which would you recommend?
Personally I really like the Bullet Tele they sound awesome, I've made a few videos of them 😎🎸
Rob The Meat Manifesto me too honestly, I really dig the sound of the tele (and the cheaper price haha) but I’m really digging that arctic white on the strats
That's decided then get both 😂😂
Rob The Meat Manifesto might have to get a summer job to afford that 😂😂 totally worth it
😂 totally worth it they are both solid guitars
What do you think is better...hss or sss?
All depends what sound you're after
I want to buy one and I'm really confused...but I think hss
Have in your mind any better suggest?? I'm not a beginner player..
HSS for heavier overdriven music, SSS more suited for cleaner music
Thank you very much for your help!!
Great video!
Thank you
Can I play metal with the bridge double mics?
Double mics?
@@theguitarmanifesto i ment the double pickups in the bridge lol, english is not my first language so I thought the right word was "mics" and it wans't lol

Nice video! I’ve been on an acoustic for a while now, learning online. Feels like this guitar is just perfect for the price. Any suggestions for a beginner who’s moving towards an electric guitar?
Ah Awesome the bullet would be a great option and is very cheap too :)
If you can play acoustic you can play electric just remember to crank it up \m/
Thank you so much! I Will. \m/
I want to install a passive hum on the bridge and active single coil on neck and middle position

Will this guitar be good for a beginner?
Yes there great for first guitar
About to get this, been playing on a classical guitar for a year now. Time to go electric.
buy the affinity, tad more expensive but better pickups
Change the tuner and pick up then it will be like one of the mid range fender
I wouldn't got that far but it would improve it a lot
@@theguitarmanifesto I mean if ya gonna do like stage live.. Hehe
Yeah I get ya bro 🎸👌
@@theguitarmanifesto but it isn't bad even without mod for live stage but for the long run will eventually need to mod it right...
Yes it will need modding, I actually meant it would need a lot more doing to it to be up to a mid range Fender status
what kind of amp do you have
Garageband
What do you call the chord shape used in 2:17?? Its movable is there any tutorial on how to play it??
First chord is a Am shape followed A shape chords just down the fingerboard
What song is this?
One of my own ones dude \m/
Rob The Meat Manifesto okay, it sounds really good.
thank you very much :)
Why I am getting noise 😭somebody help..I got so noise on bridge position
Partha Art & Music turn down the pickup then. It used to be a common problem in e-guitars back in the 1920’s all the way to the 1940’s. That issue was fixed by body design, but pickup is also another reason.
