It's really frustrating that RUclips favors people who upload very frequently. Basically saying yeah sure just pump out a bunch of crap content instead of taking your time to masterfully craft each video.
Luckily, It’s only part of the algorithm they use :) it rewards people who stick with it and helps filter out people who post two to six videos and disappear. Other parts of the algorithm involve watch time, likes vs dislikes, subscriber count and tags :)
Don’t give up, you (might) be discovered sooner or later, keep your subscribers happy and keep doing what you do and you’ll eventually grow on RUclips.
I'd never ring the bell even for my fave RUclipsrs because I hate push notifications in general. What is most helpful to me is a regular RUclipsr who stays on schedule so I know when to go look for them on my own accord.

Tip #1 is tried and true! I’ve heard you guys preach it, and I tested it, and the view count on my very first video goes up daily! Love the video influencers community 💯
Being a new video is only part of ranking in searches, make sure to use tags, specific titles (“hatchimals unboxing” as opposed to “toy video!”, translations,description boxes.... all of these give the search engine more words to match with what is being searched. Consistently uploading is another factor. Don’t forget you need an interesting thumbnail to make people want to click :)

You can have a dual niche video channel if they coordinate well. Beauty, fitness and/or lifestyle go well together, toy videos and fashion tips maybe not so much. In any channel, certain videos will be more popular. If you find one video is getting ten times the views, look at what you did differently in that video. If you do choose to pick the one that is more popular, you can start a second channel and cross promote as well.

My last video recently got picked up by the algorithm and suddenly I've gotten 100k+ views from the Homepage. The video previously had 10k or so views and was already my most viewed video.
I have diligently been working to get my watch time back up from doing ads the wrong way. It is now back to four minutes and sometimes I hit 50% referral. But still not there yet. I was sooooo discouraged this past week. I just learned how about you can create a remarketing list from youtube and I am going to try and use that.
I'm right there with you. I think my biggest hurdle currently is consistency. Over the last year my life has gone up and down so much, my content has not been consistent and I'm sure it's hurting my views, subscribers, etc.

I have diligently been working to get my watch time back up from doing ads the wrong way. It is now back to four minutes and sometimes I hit 50% referral. But still not there yet. I was sooooo discouraged this past week. I just learned how about you can create a remarketing list from youtube and I am going to try and use that.

I'm right there with you. I think my biggest hurdle currently is consistency. Over the last year my life has gone up and down so much, my content has not been consistent and I'm sure it's hurting my views, subscribers, etc.
