I'm discovering new videos by clicking on recommended videos. The majority of my RUclips time is on my smartphone, I don't have a good computer for it.
It's really frustrating that RUclips favors people who upload very frequently. Basically saying yeah sure just pump out a bunch of crap content instead of taking your time to masterfully craft each video.
Luckily, It’s only part of the algorithm they use :) it rewards people who stick with it and helps filter out people who post two to six videos and disappear. Other parts of the algorithm involve watch time, likes vs dislikes, subscriber count and tags :)
Great tips ! The niche thing drives me crazy though because I love doing my storylines but my beauty videos get the most popularity. Guess I need to stick with what does well?
You can have a dual niche video channel if they coordinate well. Beauty, fitness and/or lifestyle go well together, toy videos and fashion tips maybe not so much. In any channel, certain videos will be more popular. If you find one video is getting ten times the views, look at what you did differently in that video. If you do choose to pick the one that is more popular, you can start a second channel and cross promote as well.

I'd never ring the bell even for my fave RUclipsrs because I hate push notifications in general. What is most helpful to me is a regular RUclipsr who stays on schedule so I know when to go look for them on my own accord.

I'm right there with you. I think my biggest hurdle currently is consistency. Over the last year my life has gone up and down so much, my content has not been consistent and I'm sure it's hurting my views, subscribers, etc.

Being a new video is only part of ranking in searches, make sure to use tags, specific titles (“hatchimals unboxing” as opposed to “toy video!”, translations,description boxes.... all of these give the search engine more words to match with what is being searched. Consistently uploading is another factor. Don’t forget you need an interesting thumbnail to make people want to click :)

I believe that putting in that effort to genuinely communicate and create community will help you get found and help people find you. I'm right there with you. I think my biggest hurdle currently is consistency. Over the last year my life has gone up and down so much, my content has not been consistent and I'm sure it's hurting my views, subscribers, etc.

I love you guys on Video Influencers! The best thing about your Channel is you are concise and have great tips. Now, to answer your question, I am mostly on my cell. To watch video's, I just get notified of my subscriptions. I will also look on the trending page. Also, as I am a Jumpcut Academy Member, I watch suggested video's from other members on the Jumpcut Forum.

Use tags
Being a new video is only part of ranking in searches, make sure to use tags, specific titles (“hatchimals unboxing” as opposed to “toy video!”, translations,description boxes.... all of these give the search engine more words to match with what is being searched. Consistently uploading is another factor. Don’t forget you need an interesting thumbnail to make people want to click :)

I believe that putting in that effort to genuinely communicate and create community will help you get found and help people find you. I also use uber suggest to nail down my keywording and tagging...its seriously working for me and the analytics are showing that 80% of my traffic is coming from search. Yay. 👊🏻☀️😀 Thanks guys!
