You should definitely drop the links to the Preshave and shave cream you're using in the description, it's great that you mention and show them but it's easier for us to click the link out of your description while putting some money in your pocket for the tips. Nice informative video, thanks!
I don’t have any beard company affiliated links. I just have an Amazon affiliation. But the pre shave oil is from detroitgrooming.com 😁👍🏼 sorry so late I just around to this comment
Looking for the easiest and closest head shave and this review made me purchase this one. It's a shame you don't get commission because you earned it. Thx for the video.
Thanks man, watched both of your reviews. I'm a younger guy in my 20s who's got hit with the baldness and have never used these products. Straight forward review thanks.
I ordered the Pitbull Platinum that comes with the accessories, like the rinse stand and the travel pouch. but now I'm wondering if the whole thing was a good idea since the selling point to me was that you could do a reasonably quick dry shave. If getting a close enough shave requires using shaving cream, then I can just use a regular disposable 6-blade razor w/trimmer, like I always have. Oh, well. I guess it will be good for touch ups in between shaving the regular way.
That’s exactly what I’m going to buy one for, nothing beats a razor we all know that but I think it would be nice for touch ups during the week if your pressed for time. Between razor shaves
So, I actually just started shaving my head about a month ago, so, I’m a bit new to this world lol. I’ve been using a razor and it’s so tedious. I may have to invest in one of these for quick touch ups when I need to.
Thank. I have been dry shaving a while but now am getting some razor burn on neck. Going to try wet shaving now. I really like this razor. Thanks for sharing.
I just got a PitBull Gold PRO and have been a little hesitant to just jump in and try it because I want to make sure I am using it right. After watching your video, I'm gonna try the wet shave first and make sure I am on top of cleaning it. Just need to figure out how often the blades should be replaced...
So I have alopecia and decided to just shave. How short does your hair need to be to use this? I have some patchy places that have a tad more hair than the rest.
Shave down with hair clippers with a zero (no clip) then use this. You want the hair to be like stubble on a beard and no longer or you might get pinching. 👍
I've been looking for a better way to shave my head and thank you very much. For your video Im going to buy a skullshaver platinum. Please show what skin conditioning products go along with this amazing machine.🙏😎🙏
I use an electric shaver on my head but everytime i shave ill get a bit of razor burns how do i use my electric shaver and rock my bald head an maintain it successfully without razor burns
Metal paint started chipping off of my new pitbull and it lodged into the blades. This was their response... Hi Timothy, I am more than happy to offer you 10% off towards the purchase of replacement blades with the new matte finish top. The terms and conditions of which are not going to change. If you have any other questions, we would be happy to assist you, but as for this issue we have provided all of the necessary information. I'm late to the party. LOL Excellent video. Great product. Agreed with everything you said. It really is a game changer. I have a question. Do you still use a razor after using the skull shaver? I still do, I just wet my head with my hand, then use super light strokes like a squeegee to cut the stubble. Thanks in advance.
Question my wife showed me this product and she shaves my head every couple of months and question is do I need to shave my head before using or can I use this without shaving my head first?
I shave using a 5 blade gillette, does this product shavethe same? Against the grain skin type of shave? Just skeptical to jump to this kind from my ol trusty gillette
I was checking some reviews and I have a question, does it get you a clean shave like you get with a razor blade, or do you always get that scratchy feel?
It’ll never shave you as smooth as a actual razor. I like to shave with a actual razor on Sunday then the Pitbull is great for touch ups during the week when your busy. Then I’ll hit it with a blade again on sat or sun to bring it all the way down again. Hope that helps
I have a bald head similar to yours use the Braun series 9 dry and wet as it can even be used in the shower and i have outstanding results but I might add sometimes I have the occasional spot, have you ever tried the Braun as I have for years now but I am also now looking at the Pitbull as it looks great but very similar, be honest now 😉😁
I don’t have the Braun series 9 or any other electric shavers other than some cheap foil shavers and the skull shaver. I do hear great things about the Braun but at $300+ it ain’t happening for me anytime soon.
@@JonnieGrooms Jonnie I got the Braun 9 before all the others started to appear as if Pitbull was out there I would have given them a go, maybe I'll find a way to sweeten up the Mrs and get one for Xmas. Ta ta
Did you get the bumps after a wet shave with the device ? If so you might want to look into getting their sensitive attachment I am not sure what it’s called because I don’t own one.
I have the same model and it works very good but i have a problem no matter how i clean it under water and with a brush it smells bad the next time i use it, any tips for that? Thanks man
I just watched kens video. I’m thinking about getting a skull shaver or the leaf razor. I’ve been using a double edge razor, but I’m wanting something quicker and easier.
@@JonnieGrooms That was fast! Haha. Yeah I'm wanting to cut my hair low but not quite bald. So I was wondering is this shaver capable of that. Or is it for bald only. You say there would be some stubble left, so maybe that would be enough hair left for me to have a close-but-not-bald cut.
@@waynegarland1947 I was aware that it's not described as a "trimmer". But I know that things in life are not always so definitive. So I inquired to see if this "shaver" might have some flexibility to its performance. This is awesome... Nomore spending $45 a cut plus tips every 2 weeks... I decided to just go bald and save DAT moonay 🤑🤑🤑.. skull shaver here I come...BTW i have hair just rather go bald to save $$$..
I am black and rather disappointed with the result. I think the razor is not great for afro hair. I had trouble shaving well, and there are still some imperfections.
Today is my first day being bald. I knew this day was coming ever since I was 15 and it looks way nicer than I expected
Welcome to the club 😁👊🏼

Welcome to the family.
Best thing I’ve ever done.
I’m young and have good hair I just hate the way I look with hair, and ladies like me bald so it’s a no brainer for me

I just purchased a Skull Shaver and haven't used it yet. I appreciate the tutorial and will start with wet shave first. Thank you!

I like your tutorial and I will start with the wet shave. I also like to know what are the two product you used prior to shaving. Oil and cream?

How the pit bull work on your balls?

You could do quick dry shaves, it has come in handy for me more than a few times but if you have the time the wet shave option gives a smoother shave.

Thinking if getting this, what happens if you leave your hair get a bit thick will it still work, or would you have to shave it every 2nd day?

The difference between the gold and platinum is $80-100, its the same shaver but you just get more accessories.
10/10 Jonnie. Enjoyed it.
Was the shaving cream optional or it works better that way
For me it worked better this way, it is optional.

How much more stubble shows compared to using a razor?
Almost no stubble is leftover, there was a spot or two but I just passed the skull shaver over them again.

The manual for this specifically says not to use oils
It didn’t effect the quality of the shave but if it says not to use oils then it’s something I missed.
Yeah you don’t wanna use oils cause it can get into the blades cakes in potentially. It recommends shaving cream or gel.
