@gawgaw6941 I would give them a blow, and tap them to get rid of most of the debris after every shave with the Pitbull Gold. Then an under the tap wash with adding a blob of antibacterial hand soap (dropped inside) every few shaves (maybe 5). You can wash them after every use, but I don't believe they need that. Just my experience!
I own the bald buddy, freebird, and pitbull shavers. I'd say the pitbull with the 4blade forte is my preference. The PB glides across my dome the easiest, not much scalp pull. It is the quickest and easiest to clean. And i feel it gives the closest and smoothest head shave.
I actually have a Pitbull Gold Pro and a Platinum Pro. I use the Forte 4-head blade on both units. I’ve been using the Platinum for several years and it has performed very well for me. I bought the Gold from a friend and I was surprised it actually did a better job on my head than the Platinum! I can’t explain it, but it clearly removes more hair than my Platinum, using the same blade! A wet shave works best for me, but a dry shave is not bad at all. Thanks for your review!
Thanks for sharing. That is odd, isn't it that the Gold Pro performs a bit better. That could be about the age of them (just a guess). Glad yours are still going strong.
Hello thnx for the review. Some extra advantages points for me are: The dealer has a good website to order spare parts, noise level is lower then a foil razor. And like you pointed out the dust collection is great, so super great to use on the road.
Thanks for the informative video. I especially appreciate the close-up shots; I wasn't sure if the charging tab came off (just got my shaver today) without breaking anything, but turned out fine once I tried pulling on it after watching the video. Informative and helpful; thanks!

Great review, subbed. Really wanted one of these, but people have had so many problems and the customer service dont respond. With a premium price tag, this is disappointing.
Much appreciated. Yes, unfortunately, there have been negative reports. It's also the case with other head shaver companies or the product. I have had great dealings with Skull Shaver, but they know I own Shaving Advisor. Thus, I can't give an unbiased view --however-- I have told others I am from Shaving Advisor and sought support and had the door closed until they realised how popular I am. I guess some of these consumers are the unfortunate ones, while many are happy --but of course, everyone has to consider risk they are willing to take.
@IndieVR Haha. Yes, a side effect from marriage. I would say the Remington is a safe bet and do make sure you have in check the warranty and receipt. Less of an investment and they are easy enough to deal with (I have in the past). Tell your wife to cough up and buy one based on compensating you. 😆😆
You can take a look the 5 electric head shavers i mention in the video here ruclips.net/video/M_zoYFugkHA/видео.htmlsi=e9X4WG-d5YChSgz5 (also have a webpage on this). What razors have you been using, and what do you mean by a terrible job (cuts or?) ? You also have the option to try out trimming with a palm held clipper and not go completely bald, but down to 0.5 all over (the website has reviews on them also). See if any links in the description lead you to info that might help.
Great shave. I would like to buy it. I use the Gillette fusion proglide. But I would like to try the pitbull. I would like to know from you if you have it and if it leaves the head as smooth as the proglide, I don't use it dry.
I have used them both yeah shaving and the Pitbull will not shave as close as a Gillette multiblade. An electric head shaver is more about convenience, and it can shave close enough, but not the same as a razor. Thank you 👍
I own a Pitbull Gold Pro... I find myself using a multi-blade razor because it's faster and gives a closer shave. Once you use a blade, you won't go back to a foil.
I gave a Pitbull Silver Pro to my brother in law, and he used it a couple of times then ditched it for using his cartridge razor in the bath. We all have to find our own bald headed shaving way. Thanks for sharing!
I wish you would also write reviews about potential girlfriends. That would save me lots of pain and money. Great work, comprehensive, illustrated, and to the point. As you said, 100 euros is quite a sum, so your advice is highly appreciated. Thank you so much!
@@shavingadvisor I bought it off eBay brand new.theyre not an authorized dealer.but yes I’m in the process of sending it back.i may buy another one straight from pitbull.i will decide when I get my money back.
I have the Gold (recent purchase) thought I'd give it a try but, while it does a fine job, it does not provide a great shave just good, head feels like a gecko's foot afterwards.
Thanks for sharing. Yeah, these will never shave as close as a razor. I only get the slight stubble thing on the sides (if stubble is what you mean about a Geckos foot), and I can reduce that to near zero when making the skin taut. Closeness is the trade-off for convenience, though. 👍
@CaffeineJogger Interesting as I have never seen one in gold. Maybe the store coated it or something. I have a video on Silver vs. Gold, which will give you plenty of info (check that out). 👍
I've never given it a thought to be fair. Have you tried it? I've considered micro scalp pigmenation. I do like to grow it to clipper length at times and like to keep that option, and I have also considered hair transplant.
You can put a couple of drops on each rotary blade front. You can also take the plastic inner section of the blades off --if needing to clean them thoroughly and spray with lubricant spray (optional).
@Viewer765 Here is my experience--shavingadvisor.com/electric-shavers/best-electric-head-shavers/ . Comparing the top 4 on my list should be helpful for just head shaving. Then I add the Series 5 and 9000 Prestige for facial and head shaving --with the 9000 Prestige being the best out of the two (pricey though).
I did not get on with the Flex Series either. You can watch my video and see the website review I created. I definitely prefer the Skull Shaver even though it costs more. Thanks for sharing.

Hi there. Great review. Is the skull shaver effective with the long handle for back hair? You mentioned they srent good with longer hair. Cheers
Thanks for the comment. All electric shavers are best on minimal hair growth--trimmed first. Do you mean back hair or hair at the back of the head?

is the buzzing/clipping sound that bad, or is it just cause it's going thru the mic?
Yeah. Don't worry, that's the mic. The Pitbull Gold Pro, like all Skull Shaver models are quiter than many others. Good question, thanks!
Mine works great 👍

$100 USD. Please don't be shaving your head and keep your hair 🤣🤣🤣
@@shavingadvisor haa I’m not crazy 🤣😁
Can i shave me face with this?
You can, but it's not best suited for that. The ergonomics, shape and large rotary blades are not as suitable as a dedicated facial shaver.

Interestingly the PitBull Gold is black colour? A bit weird.
Yeah. They have 4 Pitbull models. Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. It's not about the colour. Silver the lowest and Diamond the highest! 👍
I see. I have seen the “ gold” here in OZ IN gold colour at shaver shop. Is the Gold significantly better than the Silver model?
