Lessons I have learnt from C dramas: 1. NEVER NEVER EVER EVER drink or eat anything that you have not personally grown , harvested and prepared yourself. This particularly applies if an ugly man with bad teeth offers you a drink . 2. People really can survive with only 2 outfits and 1 pair of shoes ( although one hopes they change their underwear) 3. Bare ankles for men are the standard . 4. Shoulders on suits must overhang actual shoulders by at least 20% . 5. There is more but I need to sleep after figuring out why I still watch them . ( I don’t watch the ones with excessive torture and abuse ) 6. There is only one engagement ring . 7. Mr Gu , Mr Fu, Mr Lu and Mr Xu were all in a bar ………. add your own joke .
I’m here for this comment and the successful revenge plot. I hate when they say “let bygones be bygones” or “it’s all in the past” when the person repeatedly tries to scheme. Thank goodness an empty apology doesn’t equate forgiveness this time.

Ok...after the first or second incident of her getting hurt, shouldn't they hire some bodyguards for her? Call the police so they can be on the look out? Why didn't they have the villainess arrested at the amusement park and left instead? They let the bad guys roam free to hurt her repeatedly.

It was good! I like the scene where Wanyi throws the cup of water in Ji Yao’s face lol. The ending seemed rushed tho. There wasn’t any romance between Gu and Wanyi and then at the end he proposes. The audience has no idea how much time has passed and with almost no romance between them except for flirty vibes the proposal seems to come out of nowhere. At the same time I like how it’s more about Wanyi getting revenge than finding love, which explains the lack of romance until the very end. Ji Yao’s death wasn’t very clear at first. She just disappears and then you hear a clank which kinda sounds like she ran into one of those metal poles. There didn’t seem to be anything for her to jump off of so I still don’t understand how she supposedly kills herself.
