Sup Darth Koopa? I’m new to CFX and I should be getting my Bendu saber soon. I have a few questions if you don’t mind. What happens if you purchase a font and don’t copy/paste the config and led.txt from a font you already have? Let’s say I purchase the Vader font, and leave it as is, and then put my sd card back into my saber and go to the new sound bank. What would happen? Also, can you take smooth swings from other fonts and add them to banks with non-smooth swing? Kind of like you did with the copy/paste? Thanks, Lord Koopa. Great vid and saber btw.
Here you are showing how to load new fonts by taking the SD card out and attaching it directly to the computer. You are then copying the fonts from the computer to the SD card. Can't you also add the fonts through the micro USB port on the board? This is the way it works on a Korbanth CFX saber, i.e., you can do it either way. I have done it both ways. I've never had the problem that Tallum Sol mentions below. Loading the fonts using the micro USB port alleviates the hassle of taking the SD card out and putting it back in (which is the harder part) every time you want to load a font(s). I see that the Sabertrio saber has the same setup with the micro USB port, so can't you do it the same way? (I ask because I'm getting a Sabertrio Mirah on Wednesday.)
When I filmed this you couldn’t do that yet so you had to take the sd card out. You’re right now you can just plug it in and it works the same way. You will love your Sabertrioz

Does the father v2 font from kyberphonic show up as 1 soundfont or 5 soundfonts?, I know that it has 5 soundfonts in 1 soundfont, but what my question is, do you have to label father v2 as 5 different soundfonts like saying is you had Luke Skywalker as number 17, would you label father v2 as for example #18-A new hope, #19-empire strikes back, #20-return or the Jedi, #21-rogue one and so on? Or would you just label father v2 as 1 folder?
Darth, I recently got a Sabertrio Neo Reaver thanks to your input. Question, I downloaded some new soundfonts from Saberfont.com. But are they suppose to come with a custom blade color & profile to fit the sound font? I downloaded the ANH, ESB, and ROTJ soundfonts from JuanSith. But all 3 light up blue. I was hoping the ROTJ fond would ignite up green like in the movie. HOW do I configure my saber to replace this color and blade profile the font came with to a green pulsating color?? Can you walk me thru the "fine tuning" process please how to change a given Blade color/profile into a custom one? I can change color/profile using saber but it reverts back to default settings when I re-ignite blade.

Does anyone here know if one can use a 32GB micro SD card in FAT32 format with a CFX board? The older micro SD cards formatted in FAT32 had a maximum capacity of 4GB, I believe. (4 GB cards are still available.) However, I've seen micro SD cards on Amazon that are formatted in FAT32 and have a capacity of 32GB, e.g., micro SD HC. See for example: Netac 32GB Micro SD Card, microSDHC UHS-I Memory Card - 90MB/s, 600X, U1, C10, Full HD Video V10, A1, FAT32, High Speed Flash TF Card P500 for Smartphone/Bluetooth Speaker/Tablet/PC/Drone/Camera on Amazon. Anybody know if this would work in a CFX board? Erv's manual simply says the SD card has to be formatted in FAT32.
Solved my problem. I used a 16 GB SanDisk SDHC I SD card, formatted it in FAT32 (FAT32 on a PC, FAT on a Mac) and loaded my fonts. Worked fine. HOWEVER, be aware that Mac puts a lot of hidden junk files on the card, usually in the .Trashes folder, that you don't see. For example, boot files that have the wrong format, such as _.boot.wav files. Also, when you erase fonts on the SD card, they are still there in the .Trashes folder. As a result, your card may say it's full, even though it looks like you still have room on the card. It's the hidden files that are taking up the extra space and filling the card. Hope this is helpful to some people. (It would have been helpful to me.)

If I delete a font i dont like, for example Shutterpoint which I think is rubbish, would it affect the operation of the saber? can I just delete the folder and thats it or do I have to make changes to other files like boot or config files to let the saber know a font has been deleted?
Is there a guide somewhere that details what colors correspond to what numbers.
go to Plecter Labs's website, and download the "Crystal Focus v10 rev1.07-GB" manual. The table of contents will tell you where to go
Jay C The CFX manual
is what I used to learn everything.
@@unjustice4392 But good luck understanding it if you're a newbie. It looks like it's been written for folks who already know this stuff. At least that's the way I found it in trying to go through it.
Or would you just label father v2 as 1 folder?
can you link the micro USB drive from amazon pleaseeee
Does this only work with sabertrio or can it be from a other company?
James Ramirez I’ll make a video about this soon Ive been getting asked this a lot. You basically need to change the font color number to the color number of your choice. Hard to explain over text.
Thanks Darth, I look forward to your video to explain how to change given blade color and profiles.
What's the process for fonts by kyberphonic? I know he doesn't have the leds.txt file in his sound font folders, but I'm not sure if it's the same steps or not.
Caspus same steps as in this video for his fonts
@@DarthKoopa Ok so I have to delete the font.config as well as add an led.txt file?
What flash drive do you have that allows you to put a micro usb into?
I did this for 3 fonts. 1 of them it worked great, and it’s super cool, but the other two it doesn’t seem to work. There’s no sound for it at all. Any idea what the issue could be?
JWT Cosplay study the one that is right and see what is different about that one and the ones that dont work. Without more details it’s hard to imagine what’s wrong.
@@DarthKoopa I downloaded emperor font from kyberphonic but their cfx folder is missing the led file? shouldn't that file be there? I deleted their config file and copied the sabertrio config and led file over, but now all I get when I turn the saber on is the soundtrackf for the emperor font but the saber does not light up for this font as it should...?
So I'm guessing you can't do this with a tablet but only a computer?
How many sound fonts can you have in the whole SD card?
This is so cool man!
Where can I get a saber like that with custom fonts and voices of characters
sabertrio website.
bee1978 thank you!
I bought one it’s coming tomorrow cost me over $1000
A SuperHero Kinda Guy I ended up buying one for like 750$
TeamOverdose mine was darth Vader’s lightsaber from 89 sabers with 29 fonts and 12 color changes also fx sounds like pikachu and Samuel l Jackson saying mother fucker different ways . Also has blade lock up and blaster deflections
Also localised lockup detection it will also Have a neopixel 36 inch blade brand new unused sent direct from the factory same day I had made the day before . The works basically .
Wait hold up does adding copy and pasting new fonts in your SD card only add new sounds and not blade styles / colours on CFX??
Thanks I needed this!!!
Can u do an update video for 2023 how to add sound fonts to Sabertrio Skylar even thought my proffie board is version 2.2?
where did you get your colors.txt file?
can you download the sounds on the site with your smartphone and then drag them to your PC?
wouldn’t duplicating the other files just make it be the same font?
That's what I thought too 🤔
I have a problem, my lightsaber is kinda Chinese, “yangqin” lightsaber. And I don’t know how to change the fonts (and I really want to change it bc it doesn’t sound good)
you need to buy a better lightsaber
thank you for doing this!
Henry Chau you’re welcome ! did it help?
Was hoping the saber would come with a cardreader
Thanks for the video :) that’s USB C not micro USB tho
That’s USB-C not micro USB but nice video :)
I tried this. The pre-installed fonts have no "led" file to copy from. I just keep getting a loud beep. But whwn I delete the file everything works again
FREAKING LEGEND
thanks now my lightsaber doesn't work anymore

Is there any free fonts?
Darth Koopa: "I Love Vader, being a Sith myself".
Me: "A SITH LORD?"
Impossible... the Sith have been extinct for a millennium...
How do you get or download smooth swing????
some guy Smoothswing is part of the CFX board features you don’t download it you need a saber with CFX
@@DarthKoopa one more question, do sabertrio sabers come with the cfx??
some guy yes, the saber he uses is a Sabertrio reaver
Can you do this with force fx elite?
no only with cfx
@@DarthKoopa can it be a rgb Cfx
This looks nothing like whats on my computer there is no cfx option to drag to desktop after downloading and open file so i have to drag just the font name down onto desktop then when i click the desktop name it still shows no cfx folder so after dragging the file name folder onto cfx drive folder it has every swing and color listed enstead of the font name sidous so i cant organize it by number if i try to rename the file it does not organize it People wonder why people like me get so frustrated because it's not transparent
Michael Byfield What kind of computer are you using ?
Well thank you 😘
Does this work for a black seris saber
nope
@@DarthKoopa can this be added to an ultrasaber
@@BAR0N48 no it’s only for sabers with CFX
What lightsabers is this? Please let me know.
Sabertrio reaver
Is Saberforge CFX
Which font is your favorite my dude?
matthew purvis That’s a tough one but I love Kylo Ren from KSith
It’s not letting me rename my files on the cfx? How do I get to that :( sorry for dumb question
matthew purvis You should just be able to click on the file and rename it or maybe try right clicking on it
Darth Koopa for some reason on my Mac I have to go all the way to its info and then it lets me. Clicking on it won’t work :(
Just so you know, you literally just gave every person who watches this video access to the font for free since you showed the URL. Might want to edit it.
Shhhh
What if i just want it to play music?
so cool
i feel so dumb I'm getting a saber but i don't understand how to do this so i feel stupid but thanks anyway mate
Ignore my last message. I'll post the new one again.
I tried to do this. Now my saber won't turn on. Someone HELP!
I hoped you created a backup file of the original contents of the SD card. If you did, reformat the SD card and load up the original contents.
@@1515cci I did. Thank god.
can you give me some of your sound please ?
oh yeah there are plenty of free fonts. its in a forum lol. these are all created by the people in the forum www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=11414.0
