The fact that the ruler of Egypt is called king and not pharaoh shows how accurate the Quran is. The title of the Ruler of Egypt during the time of Joseph is specifically said to be "King" (Arabic: Malik) whilst that of the Ruler of Egypt during the time of Moses is specifically said to be "Pharaoh." This is interesting because according to historical sources, the title Pharaoh only began to be used to refer to the rulers of Egypt (starting with the rule of Thutmose III) in 1479 BCE - years after the prophet Joseph (alayhi salam) died
Egyptian hieroglyphics was a dead language .it was only in 18-19 century it was revived. it was then understood that during time of Joseph/Yusuf ruler of Egypt were called kings and during time of Moses there were called Pharoah. Interestingly Bible doesn't make that distinction but Quran does. And no man during prophet's time could have known this.hence this also proves Quran is neither copied from Bible nor written by any man.
I'm sorry but that's absloutly wrong,,, Regarding the word "Pharaoh", the Quran always warns that "Pharaoh" is not a title or description but rather the name of a person, the only king in Egypt that was called "Pharaoh" is the king of Egypt at the time of Moses, the Quran when he mentions the word “A"al آل ” as an example: آل عمران the Imran family, آل هارون the Harun family, آل فرعون The Pharaoh’s family, the word “A'al” in the Arabic language only comes with the name of a human being and cannot come with a surname or king's title, and everyone who said that the king of Egypt nicknamed was “Pharaoh” was a mistake from the point of view of the Quran because the word “king” was always the only title of the kings of Egypt and I read books about the history of Egypt and the titles of its kings and confirmed that all of them called them "the king" and not a "Pharaoh".
@Abdennour Allaoua I know what I say 100% and I read a lot in these matters. First, it cannot be said “ آل رسول الله Aa'l the messenger of Allah.” This is a false Quranic statement. The correct one is the saying “A'al Muhammad.” The word “A'al” only comes with the name of a person, this is what the Quran is saying and not me, if you have evidence then give us evidence from the Quran first. Secondly, The books on the history of the civilization of Egypt don't mention that at the time of Musa they were called the King of Egypt by "Pharaoh", but that the Egyptian scholars and commentators and writers familiar with the civilization and history of Egypt denied this, and the matter was mixed with us because of the distortions of the Bible and its interference on us, but the Quran and the Arabic language categorically deny this, To prove your point you must come up with a Quranic and historical evidences. There are videos on RUclips, but in Arabic, which clarify this topic more.

The best you can translate these to English are Pharoah and King respectively, there’s no need for reaching or mental gymnastics here والله أعلم

Allah has named this story of Yusuf احسن القصص means the best story. At that time prophet Mohammad "SAW" had a sad because of the death of his wife Kadija and his uncle Abu Dalib this time muslims call عام الحزن means the year of sad. After this time many things happened like اسرئ و معراج and Allah SW told his messenger there was a difficult problems happened former prophets like Musa, Ibrahim, Yusuf, Issa(Jesus) so you should steadfast. ❤❤❤❤ I like the story Yousuf.
This sura not only inspired you but it inspires us all and its a bit different story in Quran As it’s mentioned in the beginning, “ we are telling you the most beautiful story of all stories”
A few things... 1- Waaaay too many typos in the translation 😳 2-ALR is "Alif Laam Ra" ا لر There are a few chapters that open with these or others (e.g. Alif Laam Meem الم) characters of the arabic language. No one really knows what they signify or mean or why those particular chapters have them. Allah SWT knows best. There are some ayats which are clear and some which can be interpreted this way or that way. It comes under those ayats in which Allah SWT doesn't go into details regards to it's meaning and of those ayats, Allah SWT says that He is the only one that knows what they completely mean. The most we do is guess. 3-In all historical incidents in the Quran, Allah SWT only mentions the most relevent parts of them like it says in 12:7 "signs for those who ask". Allah SWT doesn't go into too much details e.g. the color of the coat or the names of the brothers or the land they belonged from, unless it is relavent. 😊 What I mean to say is, Allah SWT when He narrates a story- that will be recited and contemplated upon till the end of time- He sticks to the fundamentals. In other texts there are alot of details which aren't found in the Quran. The brothers, ofcourse, had names, the woman had a name, Joseph (AS) had a complete life before, inbetween and after the events mentioned in the Quran. However, if Allah SWT didn't think of those as relevent to the lesson being taught, He didn't mention them. Hence, we are subtly being told to sift out details and think of what IS being told. Moreover, why was it being reveled to Muhammad (SAW) and through him, to the believers of that time and presently. When you look at the historical context of this, this long surah was revealed at all once, during the toughest periods in the Prophet's life in Makkah. Allah SWT sent Muhammad SAW inspiration by revealing to him things from the unseen past of his predecessor's life. The trails Joseph AS went through, the hardships he suffered and despite that, the gratitude and rememberance of Allah SWT he maintained through it all. So it was to remind Muhammad SAW about patience and rememberance of Allah SWT when times are difficult. And through that, there is a lesson for us. Both in the life if Joseph and Muhammad (May peace be upon both). I like to read this surah when I'm upset and I'm trying to memorise it Insha Allah (If Allah wills) so that I can recite it to myself. It gives me comfort and is a powerful reminder to thank Allah SWT in difficulty. Because the troubles in my life are no way near the troubles in theirs but they still maintained a greater degree of patience, gratitude and rememberance of Allah SWT than I do. So, I'm told to follow the examples of the best mankind. (There is a brilliant analysis on youtube called "Guidance from Surah Yusuf-Omar Suleiman Singapore 2015. It's 1hr long but I think you'd like it since you said story of Joseph was important to you. I'd highly recommend it to you.)
I think it’s important what you pointed out about the title of “pharoah”. This was only referred to the ruler of egypt during the new kingdom (time of moses) and not during the old kingdom (time of joseph). This is proven after the discovery of the rosetta stone which enabled us to decipher the hieroglyphs. The quran makes the distinction between ruler of egypt during the time of joseph calling him “king”, and the ruler at the time of Moses, calling him “pharaoh” whereas the bible refers to both rulers in different eras as “pharaoh” alike. This shows a few things: 1-the quran is more accurate than the bible in this regard, the bible has a historical errancy 2-the prophet muhammad did not copy the bible as a lot pf christian evangelicals like to claim, otherwise he wouldve copied the error 3-the Prophet Muhammad wouldnt have known this since understanding hieroglyphs wasnt a thing until the 20th century and he lived in the 7th, further proving his case of prophethood 4-Allah makes no mistakes
@@MilahanPhilosophersCorner + And the kings were not Egyptians they were huksus the invaders from Syria and AZIZ in this Surat is the title of the king's prime minister the pharaoh title is given to a pure Egyptian king,
Tech Guy yet people say details are missing and it’s unclear therefore we need stories written a century after this book was delivered. People don’t care about logic these days.
ASLAMALIAQUM my dear sister in Humanity may Allah guide you to Islam I'm hoping very soon, my dear sister Allah created Yusuf (pbuh) the most handsome man ever, no man were more handsome then prophet Yusuf (pbuh) in the past or will be coming in the future
That time was no pharoah title for kings of Egypt, Qur'an is so accurate in using words. Pharaoh was the king of egypt in time of Moses only which come late after the invasion of Hexus people to egypt. Pharaoh is a tyrant from Hexus not from the old egyptian dynasties.
By Allah’s will Surah Yusuf is very relevant to my life. When I started to get into Islam learning the prayer and so forth, I went to Poland at that time a few years ago, with non Muslim friends one of them had a stag do, I went with them, I was just site seeing and going out to eat, they were doing the other stuff like women and so on. I was surrounded by temptation but the praying 5 times a day to Allah helped keep me away. We even went to a ‘massage place’ where two women worked. My friends did what they did with the women there, I just sat outside the rooms playing ps1 games on my tablet lol, the women invited me to do sins with them, but I said I can only do that when I’m married one day, I was so tempted on my last day there so do something with woman but I prayed and resisted, by God’s will I didn’t do anything. I came back home to the U.K. I had a job interview, by Allah’s will an English guy came up to me and after a brief conversation he said the Shahada with me and became a Muslim by God’s will. This happened a day or so after by God’s will I avoided the temptation in Poland from the women. By Allah’s will quite a few people have said there Shahada with me reverting to Islam by Allah’s will. It started since I came back that day from Poland. May Allah make loads more people say the Shahada with us and keep all of us on the straight path Aameen.
Remember these words you are reading are literally from Allah, because prophet Mohammed couldn't read or write, now do you believe how accurate the story of Joseph is...
*Lenggue Version(?)* Sangat penting membaca dalam versi bahasa negeri sendiri = karena makna dan kata baku yang mendalam pada Al-Quran itu sendiri adalah Pernyataan Allah . 🙏
Hi sister, there are more than 50 translations of the Quran to English, however, the one knowledgeable scholars recommend is the one translated by Abdullah Yusuf Ali
The lesson behind this chapter is the decree of Allah and things that happen around you. They may sometimes look negative, but it’s a greater (good) plan from Allah for those who are patient. Victory lyes in the obedience of Allah
Joseph doesn't have that coat , and Aziz is a title of The Minister , King the ruler of Egypt at that time pharaoh was not the correct title in that time , in the time of Moses the ruler called pharaoh.
In the Quran, during Yusuf (Alaihis Salaam) time period(of about 50 to 60 years long), there was no Pharaoh, but there was a King. Historically this has been proved from hieroglyphics about a century ago.
Not a Pharaoh but a king, Pharaoh was in the era of Moses, peace be upon him, and the king was in the era of Joseph, peace be upon him, and this fact was discovered recently, and it was mentioned in the Holy Quran in the sixth century AD
Cause in the storyline of yusuf peace be upon him ( josef ) no mention for pheroah , pheroah only mentioned in musa ( moses) Peace be upon him story . In yusuf peace be upon him it's the king or literally from Qur'an the greater of Egypt
In Joseph's time there was no such term as pharaoh, but king... the term pharaoh, existed after the time of the prophet Moses.. In the Bible, the name of the ruler at the time of Joseph and Moses was pharaoh. You can check with a history expert, which one is more accurate...
Some interesting facts about this surah : 1) I think it’s the only surah named after a prophet , not even prophet Mohammed pbuh had a surah named after him 2) it is a very important chapter because it embodies the very core messages for us to learn in life . Yusuf as went from being thrown to the bottom, to rising to the king’s favour, fall again after the wife caused problems and then rose again . Throughout all of this he did not give up on his faith in Allah. It’s a message to the rest of us, in life we will have ups and downs but we must never forget to have faith in Allah
Actually there are 6 surah’s named after prophets, which are: Yunus (surah 10); Hud (surah 11); Yusuf (surah 12); Ibrahim (surah 14); Mohammad (surah 48); Nuh (surah 71) www.quora.com/Which-Surahs-in-the-Quran-are-named-after-prophets
17:58 sis no pharaoh is one of the mistakes in the bible because at the time of joseph there were no pharaohs but they were called kings and like you cant say to the queen ceasar for example ,you cant say for the king at that time pharaoh it was a strange term for them
one point regarding why Quran mention the King not the Pharoh .. because at time of Josef , Egypt was ruled by a family of invaders not by pharohs .. Check this in historical studies
Azeez was a title given to the king at the time of Joseph. It's said that Joeseph came at the time of Hyksos. That was the time when the kings were not given the title of pharaoh.
Hi, I'm curious to know whether or not you find the translation of this particular Qur'an archaic in its translation? If you do then I would like to suggest the Quran translation from M.A.S Abdul Haleem. It is a better read and flows better too. Just a suggestion. Also I really love your channel and subscribed to it. It's great to see someone who loves to learn and accumulate more knowledge than me 🤗
One of the historical facts that I read from some Islamic researchers is that the word Pharaoh is the name of one person. It is not a title, as the falsifiers of history have taught us. He is a person who appeared at the time of Moses, and after him came kings, and they were called kings, not pharaohs.
Salaam my sister, to answer one question about this story. The reason why the translator has used king instead of pharaohs is because that was what he was. Historically during the time of Abraham it was pharaohs. But during the time of Joseph the character in the story was only the king of Egypt. The bible actually had gotten the fact wrong in this story. Remember ALLAH(swt) is the Author not a story teller.
The Quran is not concerned with the details but more so with the main points to drive a lesson across to the people because we believe in the Bible and so it would be redundant for God to reiterate the entire story again. Instead he reveals a concise version to make it easier for the masses to derive benefit
When they imprisoned him they actually laid a false charge against Joseph because those ladies where wives of officer's. But when the king took a special Investigation of this after Joseph refused to come to king unless this slander is investigated. Then those women spoke the truth
At the time of Joseph, historically, the title of the ruler of Egypt is not called Pharoah but King. But, at the time of Moses the title of Egyptian ruler is Pharoah. This proved that the Quran was not copied from the Bible, but the revelation from the creator who knows everything. Therefore, the title King in the Quran instead of Pharoah is a correction of historical facts
at the period of Joseph in Egypt the Pharaoh were defeated and kicked out of northen Egypt by the Sasanates *the rulers of Damascus at that time and they kept northen Egypt with them for more than 200 Years historically* that is why Quran specifically mentioning the head of state as the King or the Aziz and Aziz is an Arabic is a name for the Sasanates Head of state and it means the powerful and the mighty and the high in position ... hope this will make it clear for you
Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦 there are beautiful explanations to Quran in which we get further details of this story... each word is chosen by God so please be careful not to say this word should have been like this or like that ... however that’s in Arabic but English translation is just a approximation .
At some time of the history of Egypt’, there was no Pharaoh, the Egyptian land was attacked an occupied by Hyksos at this time the story of justified occurred, and this why Quran did not say Pharaoh as it did with Moses, but this was not known until very lat after we was able to understand Egypt history
Subhan Allah thats why was said to Mohammad pbuh when he was sad to let him forget the what happened to him (hope u got my point, forgive my english), subhan Allah, Allah swt knew how mohammad became sad and didnt want him to be, I LOVE ALLAH ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Wow Alhumdulillah that im muslim ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes Joseph (Yusuf) was said to be astonishingly handsome according to the Quranic narrative and Muhammad p.b.u.h often would talk about Joseph's charming looks and great character.
Yes your correct he was given a special coat by YAQOOB Alai hi slaam passed down from IBRAHEEM Alai hi salaam SUBHAAN'ALLAH & when Yousufs father Yaqoob went blind crying for the loss of Yousuf the COAT resorted Yaqoob Alai hissalaam eyes & yeah he was given Half of humanity's beauty lol I😊😇
why the translator says chief not priest??...... i guess because the quran expression says that the king subjected the matter to his companions (in a general way ) or may be translated to a council ....that's the leakage of translation so you have to go further in Arabic
It is not always were kings of Egypt are called pharaohs it is disputed that its either a unique or intermittent title that is given only to few through out the history...
The Quran speaks of a King of Egypte in the time of Joseph and not of a paraoph. Historians agree that King and not pharaoh ruled Egypte in the time of Joseph which was 4500years ago. Pharaoh came later.
Joseph is known to be to most handsome man to ever exist , in arabic when you describe the handsomeness of a person you say you have a josephy beauty its a figure of speech that indicates the beauty of the person
The fact that the ruler of Egypt is called king and not pharaoh shows how accurate the Quran is. The title of the Ruler of Egypt during the time of Joseph is specifically said to be "King" (Arabic: Malik) whilst that of the Ruler of Egypt during the time of Moses is specifically said to be "Pharaoh." 4-the Arabic word that was translated into "chiefs" literally means "the important people" or "the noble people", it refers to any group of people who represent a larger people, whether they are chiefs, knights, prominent wise people, members of the parliament, elderly that are respected in the community...etc. So, probably, chiefs sounded like a more suitable translation

The best story
Joseph came at the time of kings so there was no pharaohs nickname , Aziz not name here but title or position
Yes, Aziz word should have been translated to its meaning and not been used as is.... I think it could be translated to " nobel ".
THAT'S WHY THE BIBLE ACTUALLY GOT THIS WRONG BECAUSE of THE BIBLE SAYS

That Pharaos were not there around Joseph time
It was probably the time when the Hyksos ruled Egypt

1- Waaaay too many typos in the translation 😳
2-ALR is "Alif Laam Ra" ا لر
There are a few chapters that open with these or others (e.g.
What I mean to say is, Allah SWT when He narrates a story- that will be recited and contemplated upon till the end of time- He sticks to the fundamentals.
Wow very educational thank you.

Aziz of Egypt that time meant as a title for the Prime minister
and joseph actually want zulaihka aswell, but God guide joseph. that was a hard momment for Joseph
Welcome to Islam ❤
I knew it! I knew you would mention Khabib xD
lol.
Wait till trolls go nuts.
Like what? She can't joke about anything?
Hahahha
Im waiting pt 2
I think it’s important what you pointed out about the title of “pharoah”. This was only referred to the ruler of egypt during the new kingdom (time of moses) and not during the old kingdom (time of joseph). This is proven after the discovery of the rosetta stone which enabled us to decipher the hieroglyphs. The quran makes the distinction between ruler of egypt during the time of joseph calling him “king”, and the ruler at the time of Moses, calling him “pharaoh” whereas the bible refers to both rulers in different eras as “pharaoh” alike. This shows a few things:
1-the quran is more accurate than the bible in this regard, the bible has a historical errancy
2-the prophet muhammad did not copy the bible as a lot pf christian evangelicals like to claim, otherwise he wouldve copied the error
3-the Prophet Muhammad wouldnt have known this since understanding hieroglyphs wasnt a thing until the 20th century and he lived in the 7th, further proving his case of prophethood
4-Allah makes no mistakes
Very good point.

+ And the kings were not Egyptians they were huksus the invaders from Syria and AZIZ in this Surat is the title of the king's prime minister
the pharaoh title is given to a pure Egyptian king,
ALR is "Alif Lam Raa"
Allah is the best storyteller. He leaves out all the unnecessary stuff. Straight to the point with concise words
I also had a dream from God that led me to read the Quran, pray and so on, time before going to Poland.
Hey fam
In this version you read there are so many mistakes in the translation.
I could tell. Odd huh.

Yusuf (Joseph) was given half of the beauty of humankind as taught by prophet Mohamed (pbuh)...
Remember these words you are reading are literally from Allah, because prophet Mohammed couldn't read or write, now do you believe how accurate the story of Joseph is...
Al-Aziz with definite article (al) is like the highest ranking public official of the time or head of state
*Lenggue Version(?)*
Sangat penting membaca dalam versi bahasa negeri sendiri = karena makna dan kata baku yang mendalam pada Al-Quran itu sendiri adalah Pernyataan Allah .
🙏
MASHA ALLAH
Hi sister, there are more than 50 translations of the Quran to English, however, the one knowledgeable scholars recommend is the one translated by Abdullah Yusuf Ali
Yusuf married zulaikha after she repented to, and God made her look young again
The lesson behind this chapter is the decree of Allah and things that happen around you. They may sometimes look negative, but it’s a greater (good) plan from Allah for those who are patient. Victory lyes in the obedience of Allah
Joseph doesn't have that coat , and Aziz is a title of The Minister , King the ruler of Egypt at that time pharaoh was not the correct title in that time , in the time of Moses the ruler called pharaoh.
No Aziz is not the king but the first minister - the king is the king and the two are differentiated in surah Yusuf
@@saeedhareb4904 You are Correct Brother , may Allah forgive me for the mistake i correct it in the comment , جزاك الله خيراً
Al Azeez is the title for minister of finance at the time of prophet Joseph. He take that position after getting out of prison.
In the Quran, during Yusuf (Alaihis Salaam) time period(of about 50 to 60 years long), there was no Pharaoh, but there was a King. Historically this has been proved from hieroglyphics about a century ago.
In Ahadith you would find the details but Quran gives all the outline
Not a Pharaoh but a king, Pharaoh was in the era of Moses, peace be upon him, and the king was in the era of Joseph, peace be upon him, and this fact was discovered recently, and it was mentioned in the Holy Quran in the sixth century AD
You could also watch nouman Ali Khan (bayyinah) for proper Quran tafseer
It is cows that is a misprint
Cause in the storyline of yusuf peace be upon him ( josef ) no mention for pheroah , pheroah only mentioned in musa ( moses) Peace be upon him story . In yusuf peace be upon him it's the king or literally from Qur'an the greater of Egypt
In Joseph's time there was no such term as pharaoh, but king...
the term pharaoh, existed after the time of the prophet Moses..
In the Bible, the name of the ruler at the time of Joseph and Moses was pharaoh.
You can check with a history expert, which one is more accurate...
At the time of Josef(pbuh), there was no Pharaoh (Title), but there was a king ii Egypt.
Oh now at this time your truly become a muslim 😍
Some interesting facts about this surah : 1) I think it’s the only surah named after a prophet , not even prophet Mohammed pbuh had a surah named after him 2) it is a very important chapter because it embodies the very core messages for us to learn in life . Yusuf as went from being thrown to the bottom, to rising to the king’s favour, fall again after the wife caused problems and then rose again . Throughout all of this he did not give up on his faith in Allah. It’s a message to the rest of us, in life we will have ups and downs but we must never forget to have faith in Allah
kim north there’s a chapter named after prophet Muhammad
Actually there are 6 surah’s named after prophets, which are:
Yunus (surah 10);
Hud (surah 11);
Yusuf (surah 12);
Ibrahim (surah 14);
Mohammad (surah 48);
Nuh (surah 71)

ah I stand corrected! My bad
The way you imagine that part of the story 6:55 😂😂😂 amazing !!
sounds that lady was into pdsm🤣😂
17:58 sis no pharaoh is one of the mistakes in the bible because at the time of joseph there were no pharaohs but they were called kings and like you cant say to the queen ceasar for example ,you cant say for the king at that time pharaoh it was a strange term for them
silahkan coba surah Al A'raf ayat 172 dan tafsir surah tersebut. untuk lebih jelasnya.
you nkow what, Joseph and Zulaihka (the woman who want him) actually get merried after a long story. that was a best romance ever
the verse 49 has no mention for wine ....so this is a lake of a translation
one point regarding why Quran mention the King not the Pharoh .. because at time of Josef , Egypt was ruled by a family of invaders not by pharohs .. Check this in historical studies
Azeez was a title given to the king at the time of Joseph. It's said that Joeseph came at the time of Hyksos. That was the time when the kings were not given the title of pharaoh.
It's really the best story. Well done.
It's great to see someone who loves to learn and accumulate more knowledge than me 🤗
Very difficult english translation. I recommend Abdul Haleem's english translation and Saheeh international.
Surah Yusuf, it's help me very much how to react with my brother because our conflict
The Quran is not concerned with the details but more so with the main points to drive a lesson across to the people because we believe in the Bible and so it would be redundant for God to reiterate the entire story again. Instead he reveals a concise version to make it easier for the masses to derive benefit
16:30
He want to clear his name, since he was in jail for a crime he didn't commit.
Azeez is one with authority. So it means that he was one of the officer
Pharaoh dynasty begin after Joseph.
☝️🤲❤️😔😣😭😭😭
at the period of Joseph in Egypt the Pharaoh were defeated and kicked out of northen Egypt by the Sasanates *the rulers of Damascus at that time and they kept northen Egypt with them for more than 200 Years historically* that is why Quran specifically mentioning the head of state as the King or the Aziz and Aziz is an Arabic is a name for the Sasanates Head of state and it means the powerful and the mighty and the high in position ... hope this will make it clear for you
In the story of Joseph, peace be upon him, the name of Pharaoh did not appear in this era
Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦 there are beautiful explanations to Quran in which we get further details of this story... each word is chosen by God so please be careful not to say this word should have been like this or like that ... however that’s in Arabic but English translation is just a approximation .

I think snare means deceit or wiliness
That was so funny to see how you acted the scene of the shirt torn. Loved it
May i ask, what sura do you like the most?
So far the Bee!
No Pharoah in a time of Yusuf but king
Subhan Allah thats why was said to Mohammad pbuh when he was sad to let him forget the what happened to him (hope u got my point, forgive my english), subhan Allah, Allah swt knew how mohammad became sad and didnt want him to be, I LOVE ALLAH ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow Alhumdulillah that im muslim ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes Joseph (Yusuf) was said to be astonishingly handsome according to the Quranic narrative and Muhammad p.b.u.h often would talk about Joseph's charming looks and great character.
the quran in the verses didn't say pharaoh....and actually this matches historical researches about that time title Pharos was not in use
Yes your correct he was given a special coat by YAQOOB Alai hi slaam passed down from IBRAHEEM Alai hi salaam SUBHAAN'ALLAH & when Yousufs father Yaqoob went blind crying for the loss of Yousuf the COAT resorted Yaqoob Alai hissalaam eyes & yeah he was given Half of humanity's beauty lol I😊😇
Joseph que la paix sois sur lui Et sur sa famille avait la moitié de la beauté de la race humaine par Allah
In this time, it was a king no pharaoh
why the translator says chief not priest??...... i guess because the quran expression says that the king subjected the matter to his companions (in a general way ) or may be translated to a council ....that's the leakage of translation so you have to go further in Arabic
Macha allah😍
It is not always were kings of Egypt are called pharaohs it is disputed that its either a unique or intermittent title that is given only to few through out the history...
This copy of the translation of Quran has a lot of typos. Please get another version of the translation so you can compare or cross check.
We believe that in the time of josef the king wasnt pharoh
Aziz is a title a position something like prim minster in our era ☻
The Quran speaks of a King of Egypte in the time of Joseph and not of a paraoph. Historians agree that King and not pharaoh ruled Egypte in the time of Joseph which was 4500years ago. Pharaoh came later.
May Allah lead you to the truth ❤
Mashah allah sister
Joseph is known to be to most handsome man to ever exist , in arabic when you describe the handsomeness of a person you say you have a josephy beauty its a figure of speech that indicates the beauty of the person
