Halfway through reading the Quran for my first time I knew I had to become Muslim. Alhamdulillah I’m a white American and it’s been around 2 years now! It’s the biggest blessing one can ever receive
Welcome, my brother ❤️
May The Almighty keep you steadfast brother 😊
Congratulations! So glad to hear that many are converting to Islam, welcome to a religion full of peace.
اَلْحَمْدُ للَّهِ رَبِّ الْعالَمِينَ
My dear brother, I Thank Allah that be blessed you and rescued you.
I am a South Indian, my mother tongue is Tamil and second language is English. I memorized 1/4 of the Quran. Alhamdulillah.
That's Amazing!
Mashallah
Kalakunga, Alhamdulillah
Did you read 4.23 and 4.24? Can you explain it.
Mashaa allah ,
I was gifted this exact Qur’an in Feb 2021. I read it and everything just made sense. After a lot of researching and reading, and feeling that Islam was the truth, I converted to Islam in August 2021. It is the best decision I have ever made in my life.
May you and everyone be granted jannah al firdaus ❤
ربنا يسعدك وينور طريقك ويثبتك على دين الاسلام
اللهم بارك
AL HAMDULILLAH. I'm happy for you.
Congratulations sister, you're blessed.
As a convert to Islam, initially, the 5 daily prayers can be difficult. Still, it becomes easy after a short period, so much so, that one begins to get anxious if one cannot pray as soon as prayer time comes and the only relief comes from doing the prescribed prayer. There is such a sense of peace that one gets from the prayers and it sustains you throughout the day, when we're awash in worldly concerns.
It is never easy. It is however necessary ...I differ in telling people that they will find "peace" merely by praying because people give up if they don't get that magic all over feeling you describe. Prayer is work. It is necessary because it renews our covenant with Allah every second raka and it tells our own mind to behave. It's not about that "peaceful easy feeling" and should not be touted as such. It's a requirement like brushing owns teeth....a kind of hygeine for the soul and I don't know about you but brushing my teeth at 10 pm or 4 am is not "fun". It is necessary though because I would never dream of talking to a stranger while having bad breath. So, just saying.
May God increase your faith and light. I do not know you, but from your comment I know that you are my sister in Islam. I hope that you will pray for me in your next prayers. Thank you very much in advance.
Going into prostration for Allah (swt), the Lord of the worlds, is an amazing experience.

Many muslim not arab but we can easily memorise some surah because Allah promise this Quran is easy to learn
Peace be upon you! Can confirm. There are more than 240 million Muslims in Southeast Asia too!
I am a jamaican Muslim and I can read the Quran in arabic its not hard. This is Allah and Allah made the Quran easy for anyone who is a Muslim to read Allah made all human beings so it is made easy for all regardless of where you come from your back ground black white Chinese etc. That's the whole point . When you begin you like hhuhh but when you keep going you like that it actually was easy I just needed to keep going keep practicing! Trust me I'm a Revert black jamaican it looks hard because of the new lettering and sounds but ALLAH made it easy for all mankind that embraces Islam, also many Muslim memorise alll surah in quran even children young as 5 so there ypu go it's about practice and good intention for understanding and guidance it's just about keep going keep practicing and you will see !
Yeah, you are correct. i have a bit difficulty while talking or even reading English but when I read quran I can read it very very easily and smoothly. Allah Hu Akbar@@maryan8798
I would also like to point out the Prophet said that those who read the Quran are rewarded but those who read it and make mistakes because it's hard for them are doubly rewarded
you are rewarded simply for trying keep at it brother inshallah it gets easier
Who cares if you can memorise. Means nothing. People memorise telephone books, doesn’t make it holy. Try studying your text carefully instead of following what your muftas and madrasah teach. Use your God given brain, that’s why it was gifted to you. To question things.
I was raised 7th Day Adventist so we had to learn OT and NT. This year God Almighty led me to Islam during Bible Study 🤲
Poor soul
Me too sister, and on June 2nd this year I embraced Islam after months of intense studying. I pray all people come to know about Islam and embrace it but more so my Adventist people. They are good people but the doctrine they follow is rooted in false prophecy (they said Jesus was to return to earth on October 4th 1844) meanwhile Jesus himself said of the hour, no one knows except the father and you'd think the Adventist doctrine will repent after the failed prophecy but no, it's renovated to mean Jesus rather went to the "holy of holiest place" in heaven to complete his atonement as his earthly atonement was incomplete, meanwhile the Bible says Jesus said "it is finished" before he gave up the ghost, I ask what is the difference between finish and complete?
They(Adventists) purport to strictly follow the Bible but when you compare these doctrines they teach to the Bible, it is grossly misleading, contradicting to the sayings of Jesus as reported in the Bible.
Today, I look at my Adventist folks and all I can think is for God to guide them away from following con man(William Miller) and pseudo prophetess (E.G White). The woman was a prolific writer no doub,t but not a prophetess by any stretch of the word.
May Allah guide them to the truth
kinda sad to see somebody lose a weak concept that cannot be taught with proper logic. poor soul who has lost christianity which is faulty anyway.@@sorrynotsorry3264

“Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your free time before your busyness, and your life before your death.” - Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
" Take advantage of five before five.." Imagine a prophet of God adding so much importance to this. What does this have to do with salvation?
@@jared2244 Around a thousand years ago Imam Muhammad Al-Ghazzali told story of a man walking in the jungle. A roaring lion ran towards him and the man ran as fast as he could to escape from it. He noticed a well in front of him and he jumped inside hoping to escape from the lion. As he was falling inside the well, he grabbed onto the rope and saved himself. The man was so relieved but when he looked down he saw a big snake at the bottom of the well. It had its jaws wide open ready to swallow him up. The man then looked up and saw two mice nibbling at the rope. A black mouse and a white were both chewing into the rope. The scary lion was still prowling outside the well. The man's heart was pounding as he wondered how he could escape from this. Then he noticed a honeycomb in front of him which had delicious honey dripping from it. He stuck his finger into the honey and put it inside his mouth. It was delicious and for a moment he forgot about the lion, the snake and the two mice chewing at the rope. Imam Ghazali explained that the lion is like the angel of death which is always looming above us. The snake was like his grave which all humans will face. The black mouse and white mouse were like the day and night which are always nibbling at our life (the rope). The honey was like this dunya (this temporal world) which with its momentary sweetness makes us forget the death and the eternal life.
........... . .

I admire your openness and curiosity. I’m a practicing Muslim, and this religion gives me peace within and constantly centers my moral compass.

You phrased that really well

Fajr prayer is hard to get up for but, by far my favourite prayer of the day. It always feels just amazing when you pray fajr
The prophet (pbuh) said: “The two Rak`ah before the dawn (Fajr) prayer are dearer to me than the whole world.”
Ya u get productive but try tahjud once just once 14rakah and experience
What makes it harder away from the equator is the vast changes in fajr and Isha through the year.
It is my favorite prayer too! If I have pray my Fajr, I always think by the permission of Allah I could rule the world! "Observe the prayer from the decline of the sun until the darkness of the night and the dawn prayer, for certainly the dawn prayer is witnessed ˹by angels˺" QS. Al-Isra 78.
Just waking up early, when everything still dark, pray your 2 rakaah fajr prayer, in the cold dark calm serene morning. Just you and your god. You can tell Him anything. Ask for anything. Be thankful for everything. Vent out all your worries. 1 to 1 talk. You gonna feel so good after. No rush either. Can take your bath. Your breakfast. Or has an early morning run before work. Its prime your day for a good start.
Embraced Islam 10 years ago. I'll have to talk for hours to explain why its a true unchanged religion. But if I were to sum it up, I'll say this "it makes perfect sense. Nothing seeps through the cracks"
The problem of Islam is our lack of knowledge.. the more we know the more senses have... Subhanallah
Absolutely!
Yeah me too, I met some Muslim brothers who I befriended on a game. Safe to say we are friends IRL and we had mutual friends, I was born Muslim however I only knew the basics. However, after knowing the history I would like to say it is definitely 100% the true religion. Good to have you with us brother, Barakallahu Feek!
it was easier, simpler, and perfeect sense to our intelectual.
my favourite part is where the 53 year old man sleeps with a 9 year old and watches her play with dolls.
I've been a muslim my whole life but like many muslims in arab world we deviate from it and get lost in the temptations of life but thank allah I've renewed my islam again and started praying all prayers on time and fast whenever i can and now for the first time in my life i have a purpose again my life is full again not feeling like an empty shell and depressed again
Truly quran really fixes your soul and heart from the dunya (life)
As a Muslim, i have to say i am surprised to see how spot on your understanding of Islam was here. We do believe the Koran was perfect preserved and verbatim the word of Allah, though interpretations may vary.
I wish you read the full book and do another video like this.
Lastly, Allah guides who he wills and if your heart is drawn to Islam then we welcome you brother!

The one thing that's always drawn me to this religion is the unity of its people. I don't know if you've seen it but I might have a Caucasian Muslim friend who could go to a Ugandan village, just say Assalamu alaykum to any Muslim and they suddenly have this family connection with all these Arabic terms. Not really, this is a case among many different groups... Christians, Buddhists, different sects, or even nations, expats. Simply among those who share something dear to them.
Nah, it's our religion that binds us together as one ummah. It's hadith(saying) of Prophet Muhammed(peace be upon him) that muslims are like one body. If there's pain in one part of the body, the whole body becomes restless.

@ AvesPasseri-Jinysvet Agreed brother , Religion was meant to unite people & unfortunately in today's world people use it to fight each other.
@@AvesPasseri-Jinysvet yes it's true, but it's just my observation. The five daily prayers will clean out all the daily minor sins. Any time we prayed we seek forgiveness, and Allah most merciful will forgive us. My allah guide us and accept our prayers. Amin.
Five daily prayers for our soul is like the minimum daily food and water for our body.
Without them the soul withers and eventually everything good in it dies. As if its a struggle of material life and God, leaving Quran for some time will make me closer to an animal with materialistic instincts where emotions and needs rule over everything, i turn to Quran and wow no words can explain the elevation and the state that i go into nothing can break you you're fulfilled you're complete you're happy and you just want to please Allah and help others reach that state of love❤❤
May Allah give you enthusiasm for learning and knowledge of Quran and hadith.
My 4 year old grandson has memorized several surahs juz 30 just by listening to his mother reading them. Also memorize several Arabic prayers and their meanings.
Even though we don't speak Arabic.
SURAH AL-QAMAR (54: 17, 22, 32, 40)
I really enjoyed listening to this. I'm currently memorizing the Quran and have many friends that have completed it. It's always nice hearing someone's thoughts when they first open it. Also, I absolutely love listening to its recitation. Maybe I'd recommend Abdurahman Mossad. Excited to hear more of your thoughts.
I love your enthusiasm. May Allah bless you.
Thank you for actually reading the Quran and not taking the ignorant approach to it.
i like when people from non Muslim communities learn our holy book, that really makes me happy, by the way i'm From Turkey
Hello 🇹🇷 from 🏴
But you don't study ours. You learn nothing from anyone else. The world is filled with beauty but you won't look.
thats so not true lol. educate urslef bro. 1
Love your energy and enjoyed your honest. Made me smile - your experience is exactly what most of go through as muslims learning to be muslims! 😊 thank you for the smiles and bless you on your journey.
Fantastic job on your truthful and sincere review, my friend! This book is truly a master guide, helping all of us find joy in our lives today and promising rewards in the life to come.
You are really a humble and kind person, I wish you all the best brother
repetition is how humans learn better. repetition is also a sign that the message is one.
Love this very much! May Allah guide you, Keep uploading more videos and share your experiences with us please, Thank you very much!
I never comment on videos, but I am impressed by how you noticed and pointed out fundamental realities, like Allah’s mercy and consideration of human mistakes and forgetfulness. I truly wish for you to enter Islam. May Allah guide you to his path.
As a born muslim your honest take on 5time prayers made me laugh light heartedly. I can agree. It takes time effort and concentration to stay committed to it. It's so refreshing to hear these real experiences. Much love and respect from Sri Lanka ❤🇱🇰
Love your experience for reading the Quran! I pray you continue on this path! Would love to watch more
May Allah make this journey easy for you brother and im glad to hear your summarisation of each chapter you read so far and its quite accurate. If you ever need any help or advice feel free to reach out. May Allah bless you. Ameen
As a revert, I feel you. It's gonna be a little tough in the beginning but it's not a sprint, we learn everyday in our lifetime. Once you get the hang of salah, it gets easier. Allah is the most merciful and most benevolent. Our struggles in reciting the Quran is rewarded doubly.
“Verily the one who recites the Quran beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, he will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. And as for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have TWICE that reward.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
For Fajr prayers, it will become a habit when you keep making the intention to wake up for it. Make doa to Allah for His help to make it easier.
It's always a win-win situation for Muslims.
I can hear it in your voice and I can see it in your eyes! You have been guiding by Allah to his message. I hope Allah gives you more of that and reward you with a good life and the best grades in the end.
Mashallah , May God guide us all to the straight path … from Ethiopia 🇪🇹
May Allah guide you in to the right path of life brother ❤❤❤
I am a black American obviously from my name but regardless I am Muslim and Islam is for everyone who. Inshallah you shall be one day as well.
Thank you for keeping an open mind and reading the Quran ❤
WE LOVE TO SEE IT 🤍🙏
Very informative
Please make more videos about Quran
You have a wonderful way to explain it very interestingly
I will try my best!
Fajr and Asr prayers are extremely important became they are witnessed by Allah's angels.
Thanks for covering this
As Salaamu Alaykum. May Allah SWT guide you my brother in Islam 😊
Your understanding of the Quran is on point. Outstanding
Praying 5 times a day with each prayer at its particular time makes us disciplined and punctual. If one acts exactly how islam teaches then that man will never lose time, character, discipline, morals, righteousness, sanctity, humanity, humility, sobreness, faith, and ofcourse wisdom
May Allah guide you brother keep reading 😊
Thank you, I will 😊
Aameen
No worries brother. Allah swt has made the Quran which is in Arabic ,easy for the people who attempt to learn it. If a non arabic 10 year old kid or a 70 year old person can learn the Quran by heart definitely you will be able to read it slowly but surely. Take it one thing at a time and you will learn a lot. You are doing quite well and I am sure that you will learn it soon. Keeping asking for Knowledge from your Lord and HE will make it easy for you.
So interesting hearing your perspective, thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you for doing this video Ma Shaa Allah
It looks like a mega task to learn arabic, memorise the surahs and duas but Allah makes it easy once you decide to learn. you just have to be honest in your intention. Just know that you will be tested along the way! its to see how honest you are and to elevate your ranks as a reward for your determination!
Amazing Sir
Thanks bro! A genuinly thank you, to you KDB. I just saw this video in my recommends so i dont know your background or anything, but glad to see someone reading and doing research! Definitly gonna check your other vids. May God guide you and keep you and your family safe!
Salaam/Peace, from a muslim brother
Mashallah! Showing Love from Canada 🇨🇦 May Allah make you closer ameen 🙏🏽
SubahanaAllah wallahi u got the message bro like u said Christianity and Judaism is about the message as whole and Quran is The message is the most factual reasoning ever
Wonderful explanation..👍👍
Jazakullah khair brother I appreciate your honesty. Islam is such a beautiful religion and it only gets more beautiful as you learn. May Allah reward you and guide us all.
You moved me to tears. I love you my brother and thank you for this message.
I am a former muslim from Morocco, I read the Quran many many times, learnt most of it by heart, and I can assure you it's just lies, myths and nonesense. The hadiths (Sahih muslim or Bukhari), and the exegitcal books (by anas ibn malik for instance) are just funny in my humble opinion... I read them sometimes to be amused at how dumb and uncivilised people used to be.
Exactly
@@Im_that_guy_man thank you
I haven't read complete hadith books but the parts I read are complete nonsense and idiotic, I am not planning on reading them as there are more important things to do then read this nonsense but sometimes I think how stupid people can be that they believe all that stuff
Btw I am also former muslim, I am from Pakistan
@@AMZ_official you need EMAM in your life.
The Quran's repetitive nature holds significant meaning. Repetition is used as a tool of authority, where the more something is repeated, the more weight it carries. For instance, the Quran mentions Salaah over 60 times, emphasizing its importance and obligation to be fulfilled.
If you invented a religion wouldn't you do the same. This is how all teaching is carried out and especially military training.
Well that literally is the learning process for anything. Repetition and association with other images and sensations.
@@byteme9718 If God claims He knows His creation the best, wouldn't it be logical that God also applies the method we know and trust will help our learning process too. There are many things to consider before simply stating that the religion of Islam is a human invention, but I will only leave you with this; "And if you are in doubt about what We have revealed to Our servant, then produce a sûrah like it and call your helpers other than Allah, if what you say is true." ~ Quran 2:23
@@eyeshieldsena Humans are the result of evolution, not creation. This is scientific fact and makes your point redundant. The Quran is not the words of god but those who authored it when they invented Islam. This is shown by it's many mistakes but that doesn't mean the men who authored it were stupid because they included many verses to control others. As stated already, this is how religions work and the fact L Ron Hubbard got away with convincing Scientology was real just shows how gullible people are.
The challenge is ridiculous because it's subjective. If you've been indoctrinated and/or brainwashed to believe the Quran is the words of god the you lack the objectivity to judge. Likewise, if you're a Christian then the conclusion you reach will be the polar opposite of that of a Muslim. The only objective opinion therefore has to come from an atheist and you won't agree with their answer because if the Quran contains a single error the the claims of Islam are completely undermined.
Learning the Quran is completely pointless and particularly so because most of those who do don't understand Arabic. It takes the form it does not because of a god but the culture who authored it when poetry was considered an art form.
I'm reading the book and i am 25% through it. I have to say I have to read every page twice sometimes to understand what is being said!
I won't bring comments and won't be disrespectful, but striking non belivers across the neck and removing their fingertips is a bit harsh!
I'll continue to read out of curiosity, but find it hard to swallow, that non belivers will burn in hell! What about the Buddhist who is placid, does good, and lives a pure life, will they go to hell?
What about those whom Islam didn't reach, will they burn in hell and have terrible punishments?
Did everyone before go to hell?
I'm not being obnoxious or laughing as I'm giving this much thought!
May God bless you brother. You are a sincere person and I am sure Allah will guide you.
Thank you for being so respectful by sending blessings upon our prophet SAW, looking forward to this journey :)
I was raised not speaking arabic, anyway I found a book that teaches how to pray for Muslims and learned how to do the prayers and memorized the Surah in arabic (and correctly) I still remember them 20 years later even though I am not a Muslim 😊 I think Muslims are so good at doing the 5 pillars and memorizing surah because most of them start so young and it’s so much easier when you’re a child
Cmon ma'am you got only one Life why not become a muslim stop playing with fire ok
I like your energy about learning new things that's a very good thing
I dont know which surah you memorised (the quran is 114 surah) but I think that you memorised the first surah ''al fatiha'' (the opening in english) it is a very beautiful surah
I normally advice muslims and non-muslims to watch dr.zaker naik lectures , he is a doctor who started learning about the different religions and comparing them , he makes lectures all around the world with thousands of attendants , basically he answers all the questions from non-muslims about islam and clears any doubts or misunderstanding like the questions that non-muslims often ask about 'islam and terrorism ' (islam prohibits terrorism by the way) .
I was born muslim , but when I turned 18 I had some doubts because I didnt understand and read the quran , so I watched his lectures and they helped me be 100% sure that I am on the right path.
I just wanted to help you but I really think that dr.zaker will help you understand more about islam
and always remeber that muslims are always very kind people and they will be very open to any question you ask , I suggest you go to the nearest mosque in your area and talk with muslims and will see the happiness on their face when they see a non-muslim go to the mosque and ask about islam
@@-highvoltage4685 mm actually I learned Al Fatiha, Al ikhlas, Al falaq, khawtar and Al nas when I was a child 😉 my parents are Muslims they just never taught us Arabic or religion.
@@amberchamekh9361
I think your one of us , you are very close to islam , I can see that your parents are arabs from your last name
I am a med student who lives in an arabic country , I know multiple people whose parents were arabs , left to the west and didn't teach their children arabic nor religion , they came to our city in a visit , we were very happy to see them even though we didnt know them , gave them a room and everything they needed , we took them to the mosque and showed them islam , they were very great people
But I think leaving islam is the worst thing you can do to your self , remember that you will die one day and god will ask you , you knew islam , you could've search about islam, your parents were muslims , why you didn't follow Jesus and Mohamed ?
I am not telling you to change any thing about your life , I am telling you to speak out loud and say you are a muslim beacuse I know the society in the west
I am just begging you to just believe that there is one god and that the prophet Mohamed is the massener of god , just believe in this and don't change anything in your life , you won't lose any thing but you will save yourself from fire
I am not saying this from the point of anger , not at all . I just want to help you , I am just afraid about your after life , how you will meet god and tell him you left islam for no reason
I want just one favor from you , search about islam , just one favor.
I hope you read this comment with an open heart ,always wish you best.
May Allah guide to the right path 🙏
As someone who grew up Muslim, this is so cool to see! You probably know more about the Quran than I do, as I've never actually read it in full!
Great explanation and read through.
You're a genuine and kind guy. I wish you the best my friend and the guidance of God. Bless your heart. ❤
Subhanallah
It’s sad how muslims respect Jesus more than Christians. They don’t joke about him on stand up comedy shows, they don’t make funny cartoons of him. They only have love and respect for him.
MashaAllah brother, great vid, great analysis, glad you enjoyed and May Allah reward you immensely for taking the time to share this vid with the world! 💛
this is so sweet of u to read the Quran. thank you so much
I’m Italian Canadian covert since 2006 , I pray in English, allah accepts prayers in every language as long as it’s translated properly from the Quran, loyalty chapter which is the first.

I find the five prayers tough as well. I fall asleep during Fajr 🙈
