    As a convert to Islam, initially, the 5 daily prayers can be difficult. Still, it becomes easy after a short period, so much so, that one begins to get anxious if one cannot pray as soon as prayer time comes and the only relief comes from doing the prescribed prayer. There is such a sense of peace that one gets from the prayers and it sustains you throughout the day, when we're awash in worldly concerns.

    • @missusbarkdog
      @missusbarkdog 8 месяцев назад +7

      It is never easy. It is however necessary ...I differ in telling people that they will find "peace" merely by praying because people give up if they don't get that magic all over feeling you describe. Prayer is work. It is necessary because it renews our covenant with Allah every second raka and it tells our own mind to behave. It's not about that "peaceful easy feeling" and should not be touted as such. It's a requirement like brushing owns teeth....a kind of hygeine for the soul and I don't know about you but brushing my teeth at 10 pm or 4 am is not "fun". It is necessary though because I would never dream of talking to a stranger while having bad breath. So, just saying.

This is Allah and Allah made the Quran easy for anyone who is a Muslim to read Allah made all human beings so it is made easy for all regardless of where you come from your back ground black white Chinese etc. That's the whole point . When you begin you like hhuhh but when you keep going you like that it actually was easy I just needed to keep going keep practicing! Trust me I'm a Revert black jamaican it looks hard because of the new lettering and sounds but ALLAH made it easy for all mankind that embraces Islam, also many Muslim memorise alll surah in quran even children young as 5 so there ypu go it's about practice and good intention for understanding and guidance it's just about keep going keep practicing and you will see !

      Me too sister, and on June 2nd this year I embraced Islam after months of intense studying. I pray all people come to know about Islam and embrace it but more so my Adventist people. They are good people but the doctrine they follow is rooted in false prophecy (they said Jesus was to return to earth on October 4th 1844) meanwhile Jesus himself said of the hour, no one knows except the father and you'd think the Adventist doctrine will repent after the failed prophecy but no, it's renovated to mean Jesus rather went to the "holy of holiest place" in heaven to complete his atonement as his earthly atonement was incomplete, meanwhile the Bible says Jesus said "it is finished" before he gave up the ghost, I ask what is the difference between finish and complete?
      They(Adventists) purport to strictly follow the Bible but when you compare these doctrines they teach to the Bible, it is grossly misleading, contradicting to the sayings of Jesus as reported in the Bible.
      Today, I look at my Adventist folks and all I can think is for God to guide them away from following con man(William Miller) and pseudo prophetess (E.G White). The woman was a prolific writer no doub,t but not a prophetess by any stretch of the word.
      May Allah guide them to the truth

      @KHABIB-TIME 8 месяцев назад

      @@jared2244 Around a thousand years ago Imam Muhammad Al-Ghazzali told story of a man walking in the jungle. A roaring lion ran towards him and the man ran as fast as he could to escape from it. He noticed a well in front of him and he jumped inside hoping to escape from the lion. As he was falling inside the well, he grabbed onto the rope and saved himself. The man was so relieved but when he looked down he saw a big snake at the bottom of the well. It had its jaws wide open ready to swallow him up. The man then looked up and saw two mice nibbling at the rope. A black mouse and a white were both chewing into the rope. The scary lion was still prowling outside the well. The man's heart was pounding as he wondered how he could escape from this. Then he noticed a honeycomb in front of him which had delicious honey dripping from it. He stuck his finger into the honey and put it inside his mouth. It was delicious and for a moment he forgot about the lion, the snake and the two mice chewing at the rope. Imam Ghazali explained that the lion is like the angel of death which is always looming above us. The snake was like his grave which all humans will face. The black mouse and white mouse were like the day and night which are always nibbling at our life (the rope). The honey was like this dunya (this temporal world) which with its momentary sweetness makes us forget the death and the eternal life.

Be thankful for everything. Vent out all your worries. 1 to 1 talk. You gonna feel so good after. No rush either. Can take your bath. Your breakfast. Or has an early morning run before work. As a revert, I feel you. It's gonna be a little tough in the beginning but it's not a sprint, we learn everyday in our lifetime. Once you get the hang of salah, it gets easier. Allah is the most merciful and most benevolent. Our struggles in reciting the Quran is rewarded doubly.
    “Verily the one who recites the Quran beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, he will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. And as for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have TWICE that reward.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
    For Fajr prayers, it will become a habit when you keep making the intention to wake up for it. Make doa to Allah for His help to make it easier.
    It's always a win-win situation for Muslims.

    Praying 5 times a day with each prayer at its particular time makes us disciplined and punctual. If one acts exactly how islam teaches then that man will never lose time, character,discipline,morals,righteousness, sanctity, humanity,humility,sobreness,faith, and ofcourse wisdom

    No worries brother. Allah swt has made the Quran which is in Arabic ,easy for the people who attempt to learn it. If a non arabic 10 year old kid or a 70 year old person can learn the Quran by heart definitely you will be able to read it slowly but surely. Take it one thing at a time and you will learn a lot. You are doing quite well and I am sure that you will learn it soon. Keeping asking for Knowledge from your Lord and HE will make it easy for you.

    I am a former muslim from Morocco, I read the Quran many many times, learnt most of it by heart, and I can assure you it's just lies, myths and nonesense. The hadiths (Sahih muslim or Bukhari), and the exegitcal books (by anas ibn malik for instance) are just funny in my humble opinion... I read them sometimes to be amused at how dumb and uncivilised people used to be.

    The Quran's repetitive nature holds significant meaning. Repetition is used as a tool of authority, where the more something is repeated, the more weight it carries. For instance, the Quran mentions Salaah over 60 times, emphasizing its importance and obligation to be fulfilled.

      @@byteme9718 If God claims He knows His creation the best, wouldn't it be logical that God also applies the method we know and trust will help our learning process too. There are many things to consider before simply stating that the religion of Islam is a human invention, but I will only leave you with this; "And if you are in doubt about what We have revealed to Our servant, then produce a sûrah like it and call your helpers other than Allah, if what you say is true." ~ Quran 2:23

    • @byteme9718
      @byteme9718 8 месяцев назад

      @@eyeshieldsena Humans are the result of evolution, not creation. This is scientific fact and makes your point redundant. The Quran is not the words of god but those who authored it when they invented Islam. This is shown by it's many mistakes but that doesn't mean the men who authored it were stupid because they included many verses to control others. As stated already, this is how religions work and the fact L Ron Hubbard got away with convincing Scientology was real just shows how gullible people are.
      The challenge is ridiculous because it's subjective. If you've been indoctrinated and/or brainwashed to believe the Quran is the words of god the you lack the objectivity to judge. Likewise, if you're a Christian then the conclusion you reach will be the polar opposite of that of a Muslim. The only objective opinion therefore has to come from an atheist and you won't agree with their answer because if the Quran contains a single error the the claims of Islam are completely undermined.
      Learning the Quran is completely pointless and particularly so because most of those who do don't understand Arabic. It takes the form it does not because of a god but the culture who authored it when poetry was considered an art form.

      I'll continue to read out of curiosity, but find it hard to swallow, that non belivers will burn in hell! What about the Buddhist who is placid, does good, and lives a pure life, will they go to hell?

      I dont know which surah you memorised (the quran is 114 surah) but I think that you memorised the first surah ''al fatiha'' (the opening in english) it is a very beautiful surah
      I normally advice muslims and non-muslims to watch dr.zaker naik lectures , he is a doctor who started learning about the different religions and comparing them , he makes lectures all around the world with thousands of attendants , basically he answers all the questions from non-muslims about islam and clears any doubts or misunderstanding like the questions that non-muslims often ask about 'islam and terrorism ' (islam prohibits terrorism by the way) .
      I was born muslim , but when I turned 18 I had some doubts because I didnt understand and read the quran , so I watched his lectures and they helped me be 100% sure that I am on the right path.
      I just wanted to help you but I really think that dr.zaker will help you understand more about islam
      and always remeber that muslims are always very kind people and they will be very open to any question you ask , I suggest you go to the nearest mosque in your area and talk with muslims and will see the happiness on their face when they see a non-muslim go to the mosque and ask about islam

      But I think leaving islam is the worst thing you can do to your self , remember that you will die one day and god will ask you , you knew islam , you could've search about islam, your parents were muslims , why you didn't follow Jesus and Mohamed ?
