This song is magical for sure You're absolutely right, that's a Chinese flute called the 簫 or Xiao (pronounced shee-ao), although I was very inexperienced with it in this video so it isn't played fantastically haha, I'd recommend checking out Winson Liao's channel if you want to see a master play it!
