you concentrate so much on NZ young rugby players but have you ever seen the shool rugby matches on Interschools in South Africa? just because NZ have the Haka doesnt mean they play better automaticallly.
Fantastic series to watch, brought back a lot of memories of my time at HBHS. Mrs Hassall and the leadership team remain just as passionate and inspiring as they were ten years ago.
South Africa has School boy Rugby that will shock you how hardcore it is.This Rugby in this Series is very week compared to South African School boy Rugby.
@@anthonytromp6265 Like I said. Nobody asked man. You guys hop on to a series about Kiwi school boys and talk about how good the saffa one's and are surprised when people bite back. This series aint about ya'll
@@alistair1992 outside of some banter and bragging we're surprised at some differences like the crowd size. As for not being asked you cannot put a documentary on RUclips and send it to a Global audience and then not expect any commentary back. That's unrealistic. A bit like Kurt Baker collecting Speckmans kick back from Mickleson yesterday and not expecting to be hunted down in 3 secs flat lol. You send it out there you have to take whatever comes back. Whilst it is a great testament to the HBHS system that they constantly achieve at the highest levels of schools rugby, I cant help but think that it's at the cost of other schools, if you are a young up and coming footballer but you dont come from an area with a rugby pedigree are you then forced to leave home and go to one of the big schools? Kieran Reid captained the ABs and went to Rosehill College, alas I cant see that happening very often in the future and if only elite players are able to compete at that level what happens to the rest of the boys who haven't quite made the grade (at that age).......the risk is you lose them from the game and that will eventually affect the game at the elite.level. my 2 cents anyway.........great doco though, enjoyed the insight.
You’d think a school boasting of their academic excellence would know there’s no such word as ‘learnings’. The word the kid is groping for is ‘lessons’.

matthew thorpe yeah I wish I played rugby in NZ as a kid because there is so much more attention on rugby as a whole and especially at school because in England you get coached by people who don’t really care and I was at a rugby school and still barely anything, it’s a shame really because there is so much talent in England that doesn’t get seen because of the football spotlight and the rugby politics are ridiculous when it comes to getting into academies and Regional call ups

What would you like us to feature?
RugbyPass Official rugby at the club level in NZ
RugbyPass Official the gym more
do something similar to this but in other countries like the uk
