Man, I was in a bar when it happened. My friend called me and said to turn on the news, so I asked the bartender to switch to CNN. God, it was felt unreal, like some kind of weird fever dream. But no it was real, even the reporter seemed unhinged. Scott Jund had just gotten spun, and the world would never be the same.

he didn't show it in this highlight video, but on stream in that game he let the Ash, aka moist butthole, finish a gen and lead him to the other last survivor to kill (the furry) and let Ash go. If we're talking technicalities here, he did hold the game hostage and teamed with the Ash. Like atleast slug the Ash and look for the other survivor. Wasn't Scott's greatest moment and that's why he sighed and looked frustrated in the clip (because he knew he technically did team and held the game hostage).
@@TheParzival0 That's not holding the game hostage. Holding the game hostage means that no progress can be made in the match (or no progress has been made if it's the survivors holding it hostage). In this game he let Ash live, Ash continued to progress the game, and Scott continued his hunt.
@@captainbarnark8709 There were 4 gens done with 2 people alive. no matter how you see it by not slugging the Ash and keeping him alive when he had a million chances to slug him, it's holding the game hostage for the last survivor. ESPECIALLY since the Ash led him to the last survivor. The game isn't progressing unless he slugs the Ash. Doing gens there does not progress the game since Scott expressed what he was doing on stream. (And that was not slugging the Ash and letting him go) I can understand wanting to let a survivor escape, but teaming and holding the game hostage to kill the survivor you want to kill is not okay and also really boring to watch (I was in the stream at the time). Its also edited to be very misleading in this video. I'd recommend watching the vod a couple of days ago to understand what I mean. Everyone has bad games and does questionable things sometimes, it happens.
@@TheParzival0 yeah no that's not holding the game hostage, the last survivor could have been doing a gen, ash was going a gen, the game was progressing, it doesn't matter if he let ash live, that's not hostage holding. The last guy could've searched for keys for hatch or done a gen, if anything the last survivor was holding the game hostage more because he wasn't progressing the game, he was hiding waiting for Ash to die to get an easy hatch escape and by Scott not killing Ash and letting ash progress the game, the last survivor was the only person responsible for it not progressing
@@TheParzival0 let me also say, ash nor ace has bond, ash couldn't see where ace is, ash did a gen and ace came up to them and Scott saw him.
Also for just in case you say "they were three gen'd and ace couldn't work on them" ash was doing the gens, being looped while someone works on the final gen is normal, the ace hid, thats all he did, he didn't do gens, didn't loop the killer etc..
