I know the step stool you are talking about. We had one growing up, all metal, silver and red. You'll do fine putting in the tile. Stay well.
Mama V, if you have room could you have room to build normal stairs, then you could use the space under the stairs as a pantry and storage. I feel that it would be safe for everyone .

Watching your replay, gotten home from work around 1230am central time and due to all the rain we had recently and the floods , my dad's old house sadly isn't at all fixable and beyond repairs...the one side of the roof and ceiling area only a few feet from the old house's main entrance, the part of the ceiling (about now close to 3 ft by almost 5ft of the wet ceiling collapsed) where I had to make a homemade funel out of contractor trash bags a few years ago, had caved in inside and this where the one roof been is falling apart little by little worse than was before, very sad and scary the same time🥺🫣😵🫢, so I gotten at least a few essential needs out out this old falling apart house into the RV I've been renovation, I'll have to be in this RV and get these renovations done soon possible to get live in ready and move in completely, then, I'll have to get a storage shed to get rest of my things out of the house as soon as I get this RV done, I finally just had to order some RV parts needed from Amazon that the last hail storm damaged last month....I've been try to get the RV renovation done sooner but due to my full time work hours taking most of my time in the midst, the crazy weather and now this with the ceiling and roof, I have no choice to work on this RV sooner than planned. Praying 🙏 I can get this all done some possible and that I'll be out of that house permanently for safety reasons too. Love ya MammaV your in my prayers daily too 🤗❤️🙏
