  • The session offers how to analyze a basic structural model using the new SmartPLS 4. The video is a basic introduction on analyze the output of a simple structural model with One IV and DV. The software will be available to scholars soon.
    To Learn how to Draw the model, please refer to earlier video

    Hello, Dr. owing to your SMartPLS series, I can finally finish my model analysis. I want to ask you a question. In the reflective-reflective model, all other 10 first-order constructs have 3-5 indicators (like constructs of learning strategies, learning engagement, learning outcomes, etc.). But the constructs of learning motivation have 12 indicators. The validity and reliability of the second-order model have been established. Can the 12 indicators be kept or should I cancel some? In my defense learning motivation is more important, varied, and complex than learning strategies, learning engagement, or learning outcomes. Thank you for your reply.

      There are other video on HOCs as well. Please watch for clarity.

      Thank you for your reminder, Dr. I have watched it before and now I watched it again. I still cant find the answer to my question. You didn't mention the maximum number of the indicators in a reflective higher order model. Can you tell me your insightful perspective? Thank you very much💗@@researchwithfawad

    Sir, is there any way that we can get to know from results (like from values or findings) that these results are while using one tailed test or two tailed test??

      Yes if you can calculate p value from t statistics.

    Thank you very much Dr. for the video. Please I have a question, I did my SEM analysis using AMOS but I kept getting an AVE values of within 0.398 and 0.423, should I change and use PLS-SEM? What is the difference between SEM and PLS-SEM?

      You may try PLS-SEM, it may give you better results.

    Alsalam alaykom Dr
    I have a question please. In a simple mediation model and after conducting PCA on SPSS, which is better, to continue with SPSS and test hypotheses using regression, or to test the hypotheses using PLS-SEM on SmartPls, given that the two approaches give different results.

    I didn't understand, the developer said when we have a total reflective model we must run a consistent PLS algorithm and consistent bootstrapping instead you are running always the PLS algorithm. Why?

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  2 года назад

      No it is not a must. It is utilized if you would lile to model your results in line with cbsem. Otherwise, run normal pls algorithm

      @@researchwithfawad Its mean when we run the model using a consistent PLS algorithm then we get the same results as in Amos or CB-SEM software? If possible then share your contact detail. I am also a research passionate.

      No, not the same results.

    sir, may I ask why use one tail instead of two tail?

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  Год назад

      One Tailed is used when we hypothesize a positive or negative relationship. Simply, if we assume the direction of relationship based on the literature.

      So if I think of the way that one tailed use 0.05, and two tailed use 0.1, is this make sense ? Is it acceptable to do like this?

    • @researchwithfawad

      No. Please read some literature on difference between One-Tailed and Two-Tailed.
