OMG - this was the time when u could only hear certain tunes when u went out.. DJs were the only ones to have tunes for months before you even heard it on the radio.. nowadays we have so much access to music, you can hear a tune in the club and it will be on sound cloud when u get home.. kinda made it a bit more exciting finding out what certain tunes were.. this was a perfect example.. what a banger!!

This is the best version. I debuted this at an after hours before it had been released. It was so different from everything else out at that time that everyone noticed it when it came on.

I'm so excited I found this song. First heard this on Lufthansa's in-flight Club Mix flying out of Munich to Los Angeles back in winter 2002 then, again that same summer in Hungary at a club near lake Balaton. You're not wrong! Had some fantastic times with this tune! The Tilt boys dropped it after their remix of Breeder's New York FM in Foundation in May 2001. Their last tune of the night and the crowd went mental!!! Awesome night.

Yeah! Creamer / K for me has always had such unique and recognizable sound: A complimentary dark and very thumping translation, without taking away the soul of the original. Sometimes they enhanced it.
Speaking of which.... Have you ever heard their remix for 'Troy' by Sinead O'connor? It's a masterpiece to me and exactly what you just described. Her lyrics are about her traumatic childhood and abuse by her mother. The sound definitely "enhanced the soul of the original," like you said. John does very well with every different style that he's worked on.
