What an enjoyable walk down memory lane. You did a beautiful job bringing these photos to life with color. I loved seeing the Dutch Reformed Church looking so healthy; water st buildings; Sweet Orr building. What a gift to us - thank you. I want to revisit this later on today when I have more time-I bet it will be even better the second time around.

I always enjoy your research and old picture of Newburgh Joe. This was very nice.

Its easy to see why Newburgh was considered to be the Queen city of the Hudson River. It would be nice to have an explanation of what some of these photos are, history of some of these buildings being shown. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, yes, that is the bluff at Washington Heights. This was where the Orange County fair was held during that time prior to the 1890s.

I enjoyed the video as both my family was from Newburgh lived on Liberty and Grand. I saw my great grandfather's business pictured in the video. How can I get copies of the photo? Thanks!

Hi and thanks. You can just take a screenshot off the video if you can. Or if you let me know more info about what pic and\or location I'll see if I Can come up with something.

@@joesantacroce Thanks for getting back to me. I tried a screenshot however the picture is not the best with the RUclips info across the image. The image I was interested in was at the 9:57 mark of the video. It's a street shot with the Alex Goldberg business on the left side. How could I obtain a copy of it? Please advise. Thanks.

@@douglashall7212 try this. Please let me know if you get it. Note that it was taken from an old book or postcard and the quality is not the best but still a wonderful memory.

@@joesantacroce Good morning. I got it and it downloaded better. Any idea the approximate date of the photo? My Grandfather Russel Holmes also had his business at 73 Water Street in the 1930-1949 time frame. Any ideas where I might find a photo or an image? Thanks again...this was very helpful. 👍
