    This video caused me to retrieve a WW2 S&W Victory Revolver from my safe. It belonged to a RCAF Pilot who after the war had it fully engraved, the trigger and hammer polished with a circular tool to brilliant white, and had his last name inleted with gold into the rear backstrap. It is in .38 S&W Caliber, was also bright blued, and the checkered walnut grips are probably a set of replacements. It is a beautiful private commemorative piece. Thank you for this video.

    Great story. I agree that it is an absolute crime that these pistols had to be deactivated.

    Incredible story, even more incredible as it is true. Being Swedish I must correct this Valhalla bit. The German died in combat and thus is admitted to Valhalla, the Englishman probably died in his bed so for him it`s Nifelheim. Poor sod...
