TJ....picked up the Sambas consortium Sneaker Politics and Offspring....both nice pairs. Gonna skip on the XLG and Sambae as I have the KITH x Adidas x 8th Street collabs
On foot the XLG also looks way better than the regular pair In the Netherlands im not seeing the Samba everywhere. Im seeing the Campus everywhere. Like all the kids threw their AF1 away and got the Campus to replace it with. Campus looks better than regular Samba in my opinion so I like it.
I've seen the Campus, the chunkier one, being one of the most sought after shoes on StockX so that tracks. Nice to see classics getting some shine all around.
@@TalksWithTJ yea they are extremely popular. Before it was AF1 everywhere. And that got completely replaced with the Campus. The chunky one indeed. It adds way more color too since most AF1 are just white with different swooshes, or at least the popular ones. While the campus is popular in any color.
I was literally watching your sambae video yesterday and wanted a comparison on the two. Sambae is the winner but the sole does change color over time huh?
Hey! I thought I asked that question last week about the difference? I guess I was not the only one. So I have a tiny foot (Men 5 in Adidas). If I could only buy ONE PAIR, in the same color - would you go SAMBAE or the XLG? Thanks!
@@TalksWithTJ Thanks! My foot hangs over the midsole on the regular OG Samba because it's so thin which unfortunately makes them unpleasant to wear so trying to find some alternatives with similar looks. Any recommendations?
The first time I saw the XLG, I knew I wanted a pair so I grabbed the white with black stripes Then I saw the black pair.. I was staggered as if I was hit by ALI punch 😢 didn't know what to do. So I decided to get Both..thank u addidas. Price was right And the Anthony edwards 1 are part of my Collection as well...auto 💯💯
No, my Sambae I went down a half size because it was really roomy when I tried them on in person. I go up half in the XLG because of the thicker tongue and sock liner.
Ienobicly boost and very bouncy and springy shoes temds to hurt my feet more than thinner flatter outsoles. Maybe because I grew up back in the 90’s and 2000’s when these shoes where the norm. After the boost, yeezy and in general chunky bouncy foamy craze I’ve gone back to the shoes I gre up with. Thin flat soles like the Samba, Spezial, and Originals. Sure not the best if walking for X miles, but great everyday shoes if out and about. I just got the Samba XLG OG and I love them so much. I love anything platform as I grew up with the iconic platform trend aka Buffalo shoes when I was in 7th grade. Of course these are nothing like those, much smaller, but still comfortable. Especially all the padding really helps.

Can't confirm as I just got them this year and I don't know that I've seen anyone's feedback on them since 2023 wear
I finally beat the wolf here 😂
😂😂

In only one color, XLG as the leather stripes will hold up better over time I imagine.
Would you say the arch area in the sole is wider or about the same as the regular Samba?
A little difficult to answer but I think slightly wider because it's a wider model overall with more cushioning

The XLG is one of their best releases has down in the last 10 years to me.
Same,i had to buy it albeit very expensive in my country's currency..
Are your sambae and xlg same size?

What pants are those they look so weird lol? I thought your legs were twisted or something
Regular adidas tiro pants
XLG all day.

Everyone's feet are different, why options are great.
