You are truly one of the only channels I’ve found who share “negative” opinions and experiences with fragrances. LOVE THAT! It’s hard to trust someone who says that they love everything.
I understand. As a consumer I know it's hard to trust someone who only talks about good but from a business standpoint there's no money in negative reviews plus people don't wanna risk a fractured relationship with brands. It's a double edge sword. I tend to not follow overly dramatic people everything can't be the most amazing thing you've ever smelled lol

I'm obsessed with Blanche Bête! But fren....get rid of it since YOU don't love it. You have an abundance of fragrances that you can enjoy and still get complicated on. Compliments are fun to get but at the end of the day, you come first....not Luciois 😂
So I haven't finished watching your review, but I just love you, and I had to come and say that!! I have owned Blanche bete for about 6 months, and I fell in love with it on first try. It is very strong and really my first lactonic fragrance!! Interestingly, I find it to be very similar to Caramel Cascade by Taskeen unlike what everyone says CC is really duping. I remember getting the same physical reaction when I tried them- yes, they both made me sneeze a coupla times on initial sprays. I still love them both though, and I'm really glad you are sharing layering combos for Blanche bete because that is the only way I wear my caramel cascade as well- combined/layered with other fragrances...see, BB & CC really do have more similarities than one in my books! Great review so far Chi chi, now let me continue watching the layering combos with my coffee!
I recently got a sample and it was LOVE at first sniff. This fragrance makes me feel like a Greek goddess that just took a milk bath in a field of flowers. However, I have a rule that I must go through 2 sample sizes & still feel the same way about a fragrance before committing to a bottle. I’m finishing up my first sample size now but lm already dying for this to be my new signature scent 😭

I got a sample and I’m still undecided too! 😂 There is something I like and something mature about it that I don’t love. But it’s not a scrubber. I want to like it. I’ve tried it twice but I may need more time. Right now for me it’s not a need.
Chi Chi you had me crying lol. You like " I don't know if I like this", meanwhile people around you having nosegasms 😂😂😂😂😂😂. I can't take blanche bete alone, but mixed with Gris charnel it's a go! Now the men folks are attracted Ms blanche really bad, so she is good to keep in the arsenal at least a 10ml. Maybe decant you a 10ml and sell the rest of it because you don't love it but you see what she can do if need be 😊
You're not alone..I sold mine a few weeks after opening the bottle, It was OK but nothing special. Another overhyped one in my opinion is Dama Bianca.. glad I tested it first.

I tried it and hated it. But I find I don't have a nose for a lot of stuff other people love! I didn't mind the milk part but mixed with the florals was a big NO for me.

Girl… I have Blanche Bete and I didn’t think I’d love her but I do… I’m watching you spray her and layer her and I’m like she’s gonna smell like her till next week! Ms. Bete is a beast… so much so that I will choke myself out if I over spray… and I don’t do lactonic flavors… (Commodity Milk, Bianco Late) but Ms. Bete, she somehow works for me and yes, massive compliment getter. I don't vibe with lactonic perfumes either but this one I do tolerate a lot more. Of course I don't wanna give it up cuz I keep getting compliments lol

One of the most irreplaceable Girl on yt has just spilled the tea (with her milk, like proper Brits do 😂) Together with words of greatest love to you pls accept also a kind request to give a BB a little bit time more. Just a little. At first I was verrry put off by this one. After months I came back and put it casually for a walk. A sample! And as I was not used to this smell I caught a wafts of a gorgeous smell, not realising yet to the fullest that it was this tiny sample. Until I was walking by a bench with some man on it and heard: wow, this was such a nice smell. I don’t want to toot my own horn, but it was only me passing them at this time. :) Long story shorter, it was an instant… noooo, purchase only, but enough for me 😂 And now I’m in love… actually :) Sending you warm hugs!!!

I was sorely disappointed by the decant I bought of Blance Bete, those notes I usually love but this just seemed very medicinal/licorice-ish. No thanks. A good milk frag to me is Milk Musk by Molton Brown and I Am Her by Zadig.
I'm wearing Blanche for the first time today and had to look up what people were saying about her again because I don't remember hearing a negative review, and she's behaving badly on my skin. I'm happy I only bought a travel size because absolutely not!!! The milk I get is actually coconut cream and then smoke. On me, it's smells like coconut milk being boiled on an outside wood fire to make coconut oil. I find it a bit nauseating. But it does last however.

The BB saga continues! 😂😂😂 I’m emotionally attached to both Commodity and Blanche Bete but I have a full bottle of Commodity Milk and only a travel size decant of Blanche which I wear very strategically because she is a sorceress. Still not sure I would ever get a full bottle. I hear you on not wanting to keep it if you don’t personally enjoy it though. First time I smelled it I had a migraine and it definitely made me nauseous. But off migraine I’m genuinely a milky note lover. But she’s a milky powdery beast to be used with caution.
I was surprised at how fast the juice darkened on my bottle of Blanche Bete. I mostly get the note of coconut from this fragrance. It isn’t my favorite tbh.

Blanche Bête is a compliment getter for me as well :p I wanted to mention, as a french follower of yours, that Eau de Peau is the name of the collection, there are 3 perfumes in this collection, so nothing to do with the perfume concentration and in this case, "peau" is used to enhance the fact that the 3 perfumes of this collection contains animalic notes :p I was confused too at the beginning x) so there you go ^^
It's one of my favs ❤and somehow I misplaced it while on a trip 😩 if you ever plan on selling it...I'd love to buy it off of you! If you don't I hope it grows on you❤
Totally understand the dilemma of not liking something that everyone likes on you 😂. I think it’s down to intrinsic motivation vs extrinsic motivation and which do you prioritise when it comes to wanting to wear a perfume. Intrinsically you don’t like the perfume and don’t feel motivated to wear it but extrinsically you get rewarded with compliments from others thus leading you to be motivated to wear it. Wearing a perfume is usually a personal mood setter so it’s probably best to go with the intrinsic form of motivation which means to put it on ONLY because you like it. But if you do enjoy the feeling of pleasing others with your scent, then it’s worth making the effort to try to accept and love the scent. ❤ Hope this brings some clarity with your dilemma! Also, this is the first time watching your video and I really enjoy your candour 😂❤ I have recently gotten the sampler for this and I’m also struggling to decide whether I like this or not. NGL the popularity definitely plays a part in gaslighting myself into liking it but your candour and analogy totally nailed the description of this scent.
You getting compliments on something you dont love reminds me of myself and Guidance LOL. I dont love it but I always get compliments, so I begrudgingly keep a 10ml decant for just times like that LOL
I really enjoy this fragrance, and I understand that it doesn't work for you. I blind bought Casablanca b/c everyone spoke so highly of it, and I cannot stand the way it smells on me for the first 30-40 minutes. On my skin, it smells like grape jelly until it completely dries down *shrugs*
It's a pleasant scent reminds me of a marzipan covered creamy coconut cake... I layered with a bit of the original good girl. I enjoyed your video. ❤ my 🍵 also 😊😊❤
I would think of it like clothing. If others like a shirt on you, but you don’t love the shirt, most likely you won’t grab for it. I do understand that compliments are addicting though 😅
Blanche Bete is one of the most beautiful perfumes that I've ever smelt, but I can't stand it 😂. This perfume made me stop blind buying expensive fragrances. I've never had a fragrance make me nauseous with one spray. Chi Chi everyone loved it on me too! It is stunning but it had to go. Heartbreaking 💔
This one smells very floral on me, with an occasional touch of decay in there. The milk can go a little sour breast milk when my skin gets warm, though less so than other lactonic fragrances I’ve tried. In the end it smells mostly like an old fashioned cloying white floral to my nose. I tried it several times and every time I just want it off of me. It unfortunately does last a very long time and is hard to scrub off. I can see where some people find this very pretty but it’s a pass for me.

Blanche bete is so sweet! I spray it on the back of my body so I don't choke myself. Try jr layered with Arabians Tonka! I layer Amore Caffe with Arabians tonka. Any overly sweet fragrance works so well with AT in my opinion, even Bianco Latte which I just find is okay 😂 what I got from Amore Caffe is what I wanted Bianco Latte to be
I love all the other milky fragrances you mention here. BB is the only one that makes me feel sick. This particular blend of milk and tuberose sadly didn't work for me. Defo can't blind buy this.
I love it so much. It really smells magical to me. But everything ain’t for everybody. 😁 So, get rid of that so you can make room for something you enjoy.
I had the exact same experience with this perfume. People loved it on me, lasted ages, love the way it smells but don’t want to smell like. I love gourmands but just felt like I smelt like a Ferrero Raffaello.

#Scent Twin.... Ok, so yeah. I have also tried numerous times to love this fragrance. It is not a bad fragrance at all. I just don't like it on my skin either. Also, I agree that it is a rather unique scent and I can see why a lot of people love it.
Maybe I need to smell it from a distance. Lol. Sometimes the scent trail is better than smelling it up close. It gives me rich sassy grandma vibes. I’ll try to layer it.

It's funny because I don't like Caramel cascade either lol. Both of those profiles I haven't enjoyed on my skin but everyone else around me loves it.

I couldn’t get with BB either. It reminds me of a baby’s breath after a bottle, which can be lovely, but I don’t want to wear it.
You know what it kinda does smell like a baby that had a fresh bath lathered is Johnson baby lotion drunk off the milk lol

I wanted to mention, as a french follower of yours, that Eau de Peau is the name of the collection, there are 3 perfumes in this collection, so nothing to do with the perfume concentration and in this case, "peau" is used to enhance the fact that the 3 perfumes of this collection contains animalic notes :p I was confused too at the beginning x) so there you go ^^

Totally understand the dilemma of not liking something that everyone likes on you 😂. I think it’s down to intrinsic motivation vs extrinsic motivation and which do you prioritise when it comes to wanting to wear a perfume. Intrinsically you don’t like the perfume and don’t feel motivated to wear it but extrinsically you get rewarded with compliments from others thus leading you to be motivated to wear it. Wearing a perfume is usually a personal mood setter so it’s probably best to go with the intrinsic form of motivation which means to put it on ONLY because you like it. But if you do enjoy the feeling of pleasing others with your scent, then it’s worth making the effort to try to accept and love the scent. ❤ Hope this brings some clarity with your dilemma! Also, this is the first time watching your video and I really enjoy your candour 😂❤ I have recently gotten the sampler for this and I’m also struggling to decide whether I like this or not. NGL the popularity definitely plays a part in gaslighting myself into liking it but your candour and analogy totally nailed the description of this scent.

You getting compliments on something you dont love reminds me of myself and Guidance LOL. I dont love it but I always get compliments, so I begrudgingly keep a 10ml decant for just times like that LOL
I really enjoy this fragrance, and I understand that it doesn't work for you. I blind bought Casablanca b/c everyone spoke so highly of it, and I cannot stand the way it smells on me for the first 30-40 minutes. On my skin, it smells like grape jelly until it completely dries down *shrugs*

I would think of it like clothing. If others like a shirt on you, but you don’t love the shirt, most likely you won’t grab for it. I do understand that compliments are addicting though 😅
Blanche Bete is one of the most beautiful perfumes that I've ever smelt, but I can't stand it 😂. This perfume made me stop blind buying expensive fragrances. I've never had a fragrance make me nauseous with one spray. Chi Chi everyone loved it on me too! It is stunning but it had to go. Heartbreaking 💔
This one smells very floral on me, with an occasional touch of decay in there. The milk can go a little sour breast milk when my skin gets warm, though less so than other lactonic fragrances I’ve tried. In the end it smells mostly like an old fashioned cloying white floral to my nose. I tried it several times and every time I just want it off of me. It unfortunately does last a very long time and is hard to scrub off. I can see where some people find this very pretty but it’s a pass for me.

Blanche bete is so sweet! I spray it on the back of my body so I don't choke myself. Try jr layered with Arabians Tonka! I layer Amore Caffe with Arabians tonka. Any overly sweet fragrance works so well with AT in my opinion, even Bianco Latte which I just find is okay 😂 what I got from Amore Caffe is what I wanted Bianco Latte to be
I love all the other milky fragrances you mention here. BB is the only one that makes me feel sick. This particular blend of milk and tuberose sadly didn't work for me. Defo can't blind buy this.

I love it so much. It really smells magical to me. But everything ain’t for everybody. 😁 So, get rid of that so you can make room for something you enjoy.
I had the exact same experience with this perfume. People loved it on me, lasted ages, love the way it smells but don’t want to smell like. I love gourmands but just felt like I smelt like a Ferrero Raffaello.

#Scent Twin.... Ok, so yeah. I have also tried numerous times to love this fragrance. It is not a bad fragrance at all. I just don't like it on my skin either. Also, I agree that it is a rather unique scent and I can see why a lot of people love it.
