Chile, I have backup bottles of both of these fragrances. They are some of the best layering vanillas I've ever smelled. It really goes to show that fragrances smell differently on different people. You have to try these things for yourself.
I love this scent! I do not get anything bad from it. ppl also dont realize that even if you wash a prior fragrance off thru bathing, scents stay imbedded in the skin for 72 hours with your chemistry , so when you try a newer scent , it could smell off because your skin is still getting notes from the prior scent imbedded from your chemistry, so it takes a few days for your chemistry to clear . Also , if you drink alcohol , smoke , food you eat , hormone cycle changes and or take medications all affect how a fragrance can smell on your body.
The internet girlies be hyping up everything and it NEVER lives up to the hype. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought samples and was underwhelmed.
Same here. I bought some samples but many full sized fragrances and was more than underwhelmed but downright upset. It was no one’s fault but mine, VERY expensive lesson learned!😢
I usually feel this way, but Escapade Gourmande lived up to the hype for me. It makes me smell edible and delicious, but it's also airy enough to wear to bed.

It's so amazing how these fragrances read different to our noses and skin. And i get not jumping on the hype train because of these factors. BL didn't read vanilla car tree on me, but longevity, and sillage were on point and read burnt sugar and vanilla all the way through. One of the best blind buys that gets me compliments when I wear her.😊
Goes to show that fragrances really are personal and subjective. I’m sorry they didn’t work out for you, but I don’t smell a whiff of coconut or air freshener in Bianco Latte and personally for me, it’s the best vanilla gourmand I’ve ever smelled. As for Escapade Gourmande, I don’t smell the play dough at all. Both of them were my favorite purchases of 2023. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on these perfumes nonetheless because I was interested in what you thought of them.
I agree with escapade Gourmande I just got marzipan vibes for hours. After about 6 or 7 hours I got a slight vanilla vibe. I love bianco latte, it smells like a whipped vanilla cream with a hint of smokey marshmallow and a slight touch of coconut. I find it sits beautifully on my skin. I bought bianco latte rather than escapade Gourmande because it sat better for me. Thewles for the review ❤

B&BW Cozy Sunday Morning and their new Aroma fragrance called Calm Haven smells very similar to Escapade Gourmand. I layer those together and I can appreciate that scent bubble.
For anybody who has yet to try Bianco Latte, please don't get sucked into the hype, packaging and weird descriptions of it being a milky caramel magic elixir. What you're going to encounter is one of two things: 1) that weird plastic doll's head smell or 2), a coumarin and honey festival. So basically a musky base mixed with that type of synthetic vanilla that smells like a fusty dusty Little Tree that you find under the front seat of the car whilst valeting one rare Sunday and on top of that, a steaming damp haybale in the summer sun, drying out after someone has broken an enormous jar of honey over it; it's drying in the warm afternoon sun. Coumarin is a lactonic (a word people seem to think means 'milky' but doesn't.) Coumarin also has a slight almondy-tonka beany vibe to it. So if someone is hunting for the haybale'n'honey fragrance with no notes added as distracting olfactory tinsel, then the monstrously overrated Bianco Latte would be their holy grail. The final dry down is really quite lovely though...nice and solid once it morphs into a marshmallow smell, although frustratingly it lives very close to the skin at that stage. I worry about how susceptible people are to marketing campaigns. If you put any fragrance into a plain mason jar with no name, no imagery-- nothing at all-- and gave it to people to smell, boy oh boy would we see a revolution in the world of psychology, marketing and fragrance. People see what they're guided to see and they smell what they're shown to smell.
You should hear my brother talk about Bianco Latte. He said it smelled like Angel Pee. I wasn’t impressed with Bianco Latte at first but fast forward a month later….OMG💜
I was underwhelmed when I first got Escapade Gourmande. Like you, felt it was very linear and something was off about it. But one day it suddenly started smelling delicious and magical 🥰 I love layering it with Oriana
This happened to me..... I put it on Mercari and all cause that Tonka bean came out TART and the Alcohol was overwhelming.... my friend told me dont sell it just wait. thank you for saying this about escapade bc I got a small sample of it and wasn't impressed at all. the vanilla I was impressed by was tihota indult. howeverrr..... my Bianco latte is my girl and has gotten me the most compliments of all time. id wear it out more bc people seem to adore it
but I agree with you on the nest Madagascar vanilla being too coconutty. I dont like it much either. it smells nice but Its not my type of vanilla. I personally dont get that with Bianco latte though. if anything, it reminds me of commodity's milk. its that synthetic lactonic vibe I get. but it really depends on your perception with Bianco I think. because other times I get crystallized sugar, others I get cinnamon, others I get milk, and others I get the caramel honey. I havent gotten coconut yet though
its crazy that the best pure vanilla thats within price range has been victorias secret bare vanilla. like why is it better than escapade gourmand at like 1/100 the price lol

omg i found this video because I was just so confused for Bianco latte!!! Everyone on youtube just loves it so you're the first person I find who had the exact same experience (car freshener, synthetic feeling..). I feel so seen with Bianco Latte! I know that fragrances don't work on everyone but I wanted to love this so much! I was so confused when I smelled it. Very synthetic smelling on me. After about 1 hour, I smelled something interesting somewhere in the background, but the synthetic smell was so pronounced and off-putting. I felt rejected. WHY DOESN'T THIS PERFUME LIKE ME?!? I haven't tried Escapade Gourmande yet, but it's on my list to try.
I was not impressed with Bianco Latte either. I fell for the hype of Escapade Gourmande and blind bought it but was not impressed with it either. Can you do a video on all of your beautiful hair. Omg I am so happy I’m not the only one. I sampled both of them and I was like ummm no lol. Not worth the hype. With Escapade gourmand I was like this smells similar and then I figured it out. It literally smells like Dior hypnotic poison. I did a comparison and EG has a little bit more vanilla and Dior has a little bit of chocolate, but literally 95% the same. Not worth the price. IMO.
Definitely don’t understand the hype for Bianco Latte or Escapade Gourmande. Bianco Latte smelled like a body spray to me and Escapade Gourmande smelled like basic vanilla. Neither are worth the price and I just wasn’t wowed with either one. I prefer Fire at Will or Absolute Aphrodisiac! I even bought Caramel Cascade and it smells similar to Bianco Latte for a fraction of the cost. It’s crazy how a $30 and $150 fragrance smell similar but knowing what I know now I just would’ve bought the $30 dupe.

ChiChi, you are my sister frfr, 😂 I got Coconut 🥥 in the dry down too for Bianco Latte. I got Maple syrup vibes from Escapade Gourmand originally, I was 😡 hot because I blind bought it. I had to let it sit for a year to get creme brûlée on my skin. I would say let it macerate ChiChi.
I got Bianco Latte and tossed her to the side... Sweet perfume, ok. Then the girls went crazy and I had to revisit. I already her a bit when I need some sugar! Escapade Gourmand, I got a decant and was like umm no, not for $300. Light, airy vanilla. I got Genre's version and I'm in love. It has a bit more density. I might have to pull it out today. I sprayed Bianco Latte near my computer almost two months ago. Ev-er-y time I open my computer I smell Bianco Latte. I’ve been wanting to buy Escapade Gourmand but I’ve been afraid to blind buy it. Something in my mind won’t let me pay the price.
Bianco Latte feels the same for me..its very mid...nothing to write home about bath & body works brownsugar vanilla hit better than it to me but to each their own...however Escapade Gourmand is delicious...it's definitely more french vanilla creamer than creme brulee to me but it's amazing in my noise...arguably sometimes too sweet but still amazing to smell
Toootally agree!!! I find them ok, but not worth all the hype. There are better vanillas out for sure! Tihota is my fave, but also love Vani Charnel, Vanextasy and Cotton Vanilla (warning: this DOES have a coconut feel)
I was also picking up coconut and when I asked people around me, my daughter also told me "you smell like coconut". It also had this sort of powdery tonka bean thing that I don't particularly like. Otherwise I really enjoyed Bianco Latte but I did end up letting it go.

Girl, I let KAYALI V28 sit for a year as well and this winter my juice was dark and lovely, she is now on her last leg. I sprayed like there was no tomorrow.
Great layering combos! Question for you - when you layer with BR540, do you use it first or do you use BR540 as a topper? I keep hearing people say BR540 layers with everything, but I’m not sure how to use it.

Finally someone saying this. When i tried bianco latte i was like "what are people raving about? It smells synthetic. Smells like ikea vanilla candle" totally not worth it in my opinion. I let this sit for 2 months and it still smells the same.
I felt the same way about bianco latte. I ended up selling my bottle. I tried Celeste, Bianco’s little sister.. ooooffff… she is sooo much better!! 👏🏼👏🏼 she is my fairy juice 🧚♀️🧚♀️ if you enjoy violets, raspberry and vanilla! You will LOVE Celeste 💜
I haven’t tried Escapade Gourmand, but I don’t like Bianco Latte. It’s way too thick and cloying, in my opinion. It kind of just smells like sweetened condensed milk to me.

The longevity of Bianco Latte maybe better than Baccarat 540 but the smell is nauseating and annoying. I feel like every perfume you like, i like and everyone you don;t, i don't like it. Escapade Gourmand layers well with PDM Althair and Bacarat together.

I need to pull out my sample of Bianco Latte but I have tried Profumum Roma Gioiosa which I love and people have said is a more well done version of BL (not synthetic smelling). I did sample Escapade Gourmand and it was ok but not worth the price for me. On a brighter note, you’re almost at 10K subscribers so you can pick up that Guerlain SDV which you know is good and you love.

Your skin PH plays a big role. My sister wears delina and smells really good on her but on me omg …horrible! The same way patchouli smells like dirt on some ppl I don’t have a problem with it. Now I stay away from Lilly of the valley , it makes my skin smells dirty .

I’ve not been completely sold on these yet - this tells me to leave it alone lol I will say though, a truuuuuly delicious gourmand I’ve just tried is the New Notes Caramelo Vanilla. Starts off like burnt sugar kind of, and the dry down is ridiculous - creamy, sweet caramel. Try a sample set!
I just got a sample of Bianco Latte from Scent Split and it was a love at first sniff for me. Just got a larger decent on the way along with Escapade Gourmand which I have never smelled before but I;'m praying i love it just as much as Bianco Latte.
I learned my lesson when listening to the internet about perfumes. Imma just say it, I hate how the red Minnie from HOS smells. She is collecting dust because I hate how she smells.
I got a sample of Bianco Latte, and I wasn't thrilled with it when it first came. I took it out a few months later, and it's amazing. It smells like straight up caramel to me. Can't wait to get a full bottle.
I bought the bianco latte because its been everywhere but when I tried a sample of it in the bottle it smelt so nice of caramel only when I sprayed it I got this fake vanilla scent and it dried down to be a burnt tyre smell.

I’m so sorry you were so disappointed!!! I grew away from vanillas a while back, my second pregnancy really f’ed with my sense of smell-all of the sudden, I just want clean, musky, lotiony frags. And it’s been that way for about a year and a half now. Like who is she?!? But! On Valentine’s Day my mans like “let me take you to Sephora and I’ll get you a perfume” mmmmmm-hmm. Sure. So I let him try lol. Girl he smelled By Rosie Jane’s Dulce and literally rolled his eyes back so you KNOW I had to have it. Left with a full bottle and some other goodies. But it’s sort of re-inspired my love of CLEANNNNN vanillas. Something about vanilla just makes me feel like I need a shower lol! But Dulce is nice for that; it’s powdery and airy but still so super sweet. I guess people compare it to Bianco Latte (on Fragrantica) but I don’t get Yellow Trees from Dulce. So I’m not sure how close they are. I haven’t had an interest in Bianco Latte so I can’t speak on the comparison, exactly. But if I haven’t owned 100000 little Yellow Trees in my former vanilla loving life! I think Dulce was less than $100 so you may wanna check it out for yourself if you haven’t already (I can’t recall). Anyway! Happier blind buys in the future ❤ I love NOTHING more than a successful blind buy except maybe my kids and frenchies…maybe 🤣
I didn't get "creme brulee" with EG either and I also thought it was a bit linear. I'm glad I only did a travel size..couldn't justify the big bottle, but I would imagine it's nice to layer😏✌🏾
Sampled them both and went with bianco latte, although i do like escapade gourmand as well. BL layers beautifully with Tres chere Misenzir, literal yummy goodness. Have never gotten more compliments❤ Other combos I've tried with BL are black opium la parfum, or versace crystal noir. It softens them up alittle in my opinion 😊

Okay so literally just got home from the scent room in dallas. I went specifically to find escapade gourmand. THIS WAS THE BIGGEST LET DOWN! SEVERELY UNDERWHELMED!!! Im still sniffing myself right now and what??? I dont get the hype whatsoever. So glad I didn't blind buy. I have a sample of bianco latte on the way. I hope it doesn't let me down too. Edit: just heard you say it smells like play doh and youre EXACTLY RIGHT....i was trying to figure that out 😂🤣

After about 1 hour, I smelled something interesting somewhere in the background, but the synthetic smell was so pronounced and off-putting. I felt rejected. WHY DOESN'T THIS PERFUME LIKE ME?!?
I haven't tried Escapade Gourmande yet, but it's on my list to try.

I was not impressed with Bianco Latte either. I fell for the hype of Escapade Gourmande and blind bought it but was not impressed with it either. Can you do a video on all of your beautiful hair. I need details. My teen son has a crush on you. When he hears your voice he will come and watch your video. 🤣
Omg I am so happy I’m not the only one. I sampled both of them and I was like ummm no lol. Not worth the hype. With Escapade gourmand I was like this smells similar and then I figured it out. It literally smells like Dior hypnotic poison. I did a comparison and EG has a little bit more vanilla and Dior has a little bit of chocolate, but literally 95% the same. Not worth the price. IMO.

Definitely don’t understand the hype for Bianco Latte or Escapade Gourmande. Bianco Latte smelled like a body spray to me and Escapade Gourmande smelled like basic vanilla. Neither are worth the price and I just wasn’t wowed with either one. I prefer Fire at Will or Absolute Aphrodisiac! I even bought Caramel Cascade and it smells similar to Bianco Latte for a fraction of the cost. It’s crazy how a $30 and $150 fragrance smell similar but knowing what I know now I just would’ve bought the $30 dupe.
Omg I told the woman at the scent room that escapade gourmand is not topping absolute aphrodisiac!!!! To me I get the play doh smell from escapade gourmand 😩
ChiChi, you are my sister frfr, 😂 I got Coconut 🥥 in the dry down too for Bianco Latte. I got Maple syrup vibes from Escapade Gourmand originally, I was 😡 hot because I blind bought it. I had to let it sit for a year to get creme brûlée on my skin. I would say let it macerate ChiChi.
That coconut is sharp and loud but I'm gonna let both sit
I got Bianco Latte and tossed her to the side... Sweet perfume, ok. Then the girls went crazy and I had to revisit. I already her a bit when I need some sugar! Escapade Gourmand, I got a decant and was like umm no, not for $300. Light, airy vanilla. I got Genre's version and I'm in love. It has a bit more density. I might have to pull it out today. Car freshener? Oh no 🤣😂😂😂. I still need to get my hands on it. I got the dapper version of escapade gourmand and I loved it, it was beautiful, I have been getting lots of compliments. But it’s definitely overhyped, although very beautiful. I’m gonna need to get a decant of Bianco

I sprayed Bianco Latte near my computer almost two months ago. Ev-er-y time I open my computer I smell Bianco Latte. I’ve been wanting to buy Escapade Gourmand but I’ve been afraid to blind buy it. Something in my mind won’t let me pay the price.
Bianco Latte feels the same for me..its very mid...nothing to write home about bath & body works brownsugar vanilla hit better than it to me but to each their own...however Escapade Gourmand is delicious...it's definitely more french vanilla creamer than creme brulee to me but it's amazing in my noise...arguably sometimes too sweet but still amazing to smell
I hope escapade gets with the winning team and performs like she does for everyone else 😆
Toootally agree!!! I find them ok, but not worth all the hype. There are better vanillas out for sure! Tihota is my fave, but also love Vani Charnel, Vanextasy and Cotton Vanilla (warning: this DOES have a coconut feel)
I was also picking up coconut and when I asked people around me, my daughter also told me "you smell like coconut". It also had this sort of powdery tonka bean thing that I don't particularly like. Otherwise I really enjoyed Bianco Latte but I did end up letting it go.

Girl, I let KAYALI V28 sit for a year as well and this winter my juice was dark and lovely, she is now on her last leg. I sprayed like there was no tomorrow.

Great layering combos! Question for you - when you layer with BR540, do you use it first or do you use BR540 as a topper? I keep hearing people say BR540 layers with everything, but I’m not sure how to use it.

Finally someone saying this. When i tried bianco latte i was like "what are people raving about? It smells synthetic. Smells like ikea vanilla candle" totally not worth it in my opinion. I let this sit for 2 months and it still smells the same.

I haven’t tried Escapade Gourmand, but I don’t like Bianco Latte. It’s way too thick and cloying, in my opinion. It kind of just smells like sweetened condensed milk to me.

Escapade Gourmand does absolutely nothing for me. Surprisingly, I don’t actually like the smell. ThankfullyI only have a 10 ml decant of it.
The longevity of Bianco Latte maybe better than Baccarat 540 but the smell is nauseating and annoying. I feel like every perfume you like, i like and everyone you don;t, i don't like it. Escapade Gourmand layers well with PDM Althair and Bacarat together.

I need to pull out my sample of Bianco Latte but I have tried Profumum Roma Gioiosa which I love and people have said is a more well done version of BL (not synthetic smelling). I did sample Escapade Gourmand and it was ok but not worth the price for me. On a brighter note, you’re almost at 10K subscribers so you can pick up that Guerlain SDV which you know is good and you love.
First off you’re almost at 10k yaaassss. OMG I love Escapade especially with Angel Share Bay-Bee🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 when I layer it with Minnie Mouse it’s on and popping lol. I’ve had Bianca Latte on my radar for about 6 months but it was always sold out which is how I ended up getting Escapade instead. You have car freshener living in my head rent free now lol

Your skin PH plays a big role. My sister wears delina and smells really good on her but on me omg …horrible! The same way patchouli smells like dirt on some ppl I don’t have a problem with it. Now I stay away from Lilly of the valley , it makes my skin smells dirty .

I will say though, a truuuuuly delicious gourmand I’ve just tried is the New Notes Caramelo Vanilla.
Starts off like burnt sugar kind of, and the dry down is ridiculous - creamy, sweet caramel.

I just got a sample of Bianco Latte from Scent Split and it was a love at first sniff for me. Just got a larger decent on the way along with Escapade Gourmand which I have never smelled before but I;'m praying i love it just as much as Bianco Latte.

Try dappers. To your nose it smells bad. To others they smell the notes of the scent. It happens

I got a sample of Bianco Latte, and I wasn't thrilled with it when it first came. I took it out a few months later, and it's amazing. It smells like straight up caramel to me. Can't wait to get a full bottle.
Bianca Latte smelled like breakfast/bacon to me…and not in a good way. lol. Dulce by Rosie Jane is a better option to me for that scent profile.

I bought the bianco latte because its been everywhere but when I tried a sample of it in the bottle it smelt so nice of caramel only when I sprayed it I got this fake vanilla scent and it dried down to be a burnt tyre smell.
I got got with paris corner yum yum pistachio. Smells soooo bad
I just ordered a sample of the Bianco Latte, I also tried Valaya & Delina and I don’t want the full bottle

I’m so sorry you were so disappointed!!! I grew away from vanillas a while back, my second pregnancy really f’ed with my sense of smell-all of the sudden, I just want clean, musky, lotiony frags. And it’s been that way for about a year and a half now. Like who is she?!? But! On Valentine’s Day my mans like “let me take you to Sephora and I’ll get you a perfume” mmmmmm-hmm. Sure. So I let him try lol. Girl he smelled By Rosie Jane’s Dulce and literally rolled his eyes back so you KNOW I had to have it. Left with a full bottle and some other goodies. But it’s sort of re-inspired my love of CLEANNNNN vanillas. Something about vanilla just makes me feel like I need a shower lol! But Dulce is nice for that; it’s powdery and airy but still so super sweet. I guess people compare it to Bianco Latte (on Fragrantica) but I don’t get Yellow Trees from Dulce. So I’m not sure how close they are. I haven’t had an interest in Bianco Latte so I can’t speak on the comparison, exactly. But if I haven’t owned 100000 little Yellow Trees in my former vanilla loving life! I think Dulce was less than $100 so you may wanna check it out for yourself if you haven’t already (I can’t recall). Anyway! Happier blind buys in the future ❤ I love NOTHING more than a successful blind buy except maybe my kids and frenchies…maybe 🤣

I didn't get "creme brulee" with EG either and I also thought it was a bit linear. I'm glad I only did a travel size..couldn't justify the big bottle, but I would imagine it's nice to layer😏✌🏾

Sampled them both and went with bianco latte, although i do like escapade gourmand as well.
BL layers beautifully with Tres chere Misenzir, literal yummy goodness. Have never gotten more compliments❤
Other combos I've tried with BL are black opium la parfum, or versace crystal noir. It softens them up alittle in my opinion 😊

Okay so literally just got home from the scent room in dallas. I went specifically to find escapade gourmand. THIS WAS THE BIGGEST LET DOWN! SEVERELY UNDERWHELMED!!! Im still sniffing myself right now and what??? I dont get the hype whatsoever. So glad I didn't blind buy. I have a sample of bianco latte on the way. I hope it doesn't let me down too.

Chi chi, you’re really not playing when you said it smells like a car freshener. It really does for me too. My friends and daughter thought I was crazy. I gave mine to girl so she can have it as a back up. I hate anything that reminds me of a car, house, bathroom freshener.

When I sprayed it on paper, I was like it smells like a stink bug with a hint of vanilla. Hated it. On skin it's okay but I am not a fan and don't understand it.
