That solo is amazing, one of my favorite solos. It just sounds so natural' and full of life. He plays it so effortlessly, and the way it's crafted from being to end is perfect, every phrase , every note.
Love the channel. Thank you Peter and Adam 🙏
You guys are the guys!
This was awesome.
Enjoyable and valuable show yet again. Would love to hear a comparison analysis of new versus old. Eg Kenny Burrell playing Autumn in New York compared to Jonathan Kreisberg.
gggomez Kenny Burrell great inspiration . Saw him at Bakers Keyboard Louge in Motor City with Tommy Flanagan and I must say the swing was at a very high level. Johnathan Kreisberg certainly at new curves to melody and harmony.
Hey guys, watching on RUclips always. I love Tiny's Tempo and want to transcribe the solo. Too bad I can't transcribe the swing. :( As a side note, if memory serves, we are only 1 of 3 countries that does not use the metric system. The others are Myanmar and Burma. That's whack.
The countries are Liberia and Myanmar. Also Myanmar and Burma are the same country
Was this Charlie Christian on guitar? Bud Powell on piano also?
That's Tiny Grimes (he of the song title) playing 4-string tenor guitar. Clyde Hart on piano, which I had to check.
