The jazz, the sax, the vibes! Calli brings another (and possibly one of my favourite) banger to the mix and from what I can tell, opens up a bit into the Calli that came before? Super interested to hear your thoughts on this one guys!

she said in a T3 stream where she sang the song that it’s about her previous rap career where she sang to 5 people hoping to make it big and how she left that life behind after joining hololive
What "T3" means?

I think this is a song about Calli reminiscing on her past, and being conflicted that she is successful now, but some of the people she met along the way either gave up or have moved on to other things/got a "real job" (waking up to the real life). I think she is simultaneously looking back on those days where she struggled with a sense of nostalgia, while also questioning why she would want to go back to those days when she's so successful now.
I think she's talking about stuff from during her "former life". She recently visited the US again, and I think she might be a little nostalgic but knowing her life is something else now.
Yup, seems (but who knows) about the time when she transferred from USA to Japan. The passport often showed with her in a more "younger" self seems to suggest that. Plus most of the song is in the past tense, as a melancholic reminiscence.
She actually showed herself in the MV. If you're familiar with her live performances on her past life and the part of the MV where its blurred with hands on the stage
that SAX tho.......
Yooo dlon i was about to watch your reaction
This song was such a vibe. I can definitely see this being part of someone’s study playlist. 👀❤️
I was really vibing with this song, Calli continuing to never disappoint the Deadbeats 🙏
She’s relating about her past before her grim reaper days, before she was Calliope
素晴らしく感傷的で美しい曲です
This is a masterpiece!
I can’t be a simple man in the face of a song that hits me so deep in the feels, but I click anyway
Calli never misses with her original songs no matter what style of music she decides to use, it really shows how musically flexible and talented she is. This song gave me chills, and even though it's not explicitly a sad song or a happy song I only made it about halfway through the first time I heard it before my eyes started trying to leak. The song just gives off this deeply emotional bittersweet reminiscent vibe. I can't begin to imagine the difficult choices she has had to make along the way and I feel so happy for her success and wish her all the best as she continues this journey.
Edit - The transition between the singing parts and the melodic rap is beautifully done and feels effortless it's almost magical.
This song hit me hard.
Not sure how much of this is true but I read on another channel that Calli opened the waiting room for this at the same time that Cocos last stream ended. The guy who commented went deeper with it and talked about how Coco had a hand in getting hololive EN created (no idea how true this is) but if that’s true, when you hear “I never got to say hey, thanks for saving my life” it means a whole lot more since Calli is talking about the alternate reality of maybe she never got picked up by Hololive, and dealing with the fact that someone who had helped them so much is leaving, thus the “end of a life”
If that is true it brings a whole new meaning to this song
I mean, she absolutely has the ability to say thank you to Coco as she's still living with Kanata. While it was timely, I think it's more personal to her own past.
This song is more about her story imo. But everyone is entitled to their interpretation
Thanks for the reaction..
1st comment? Love the reaction also I love the song as well it teared me up also the sax~ ♥️
Theory here it's for Kaichou because her free chat ended i guess?
