That, my friend, was extremely(!) helpful. Thank you so much. A basic easy to understand concept, explained as an easy to understand concept. "Keep the radar return coming straight down the B-Scope for an intercept" perfectly explained.
Yep. The very same one. I'm not surprised at all by the choice of your avatar. Hope you're doing well. If you want you can email me at the link in the "About" for the channel.
Another way of thinking about this is simply internalising that on a B-scope the bottom is you and the closer the contact is to the bottom the closer they are to you. Then it's obvious that if they're getting closer to you you're flying an intercept course
Extremely educational as always. Thank you!
This is so good Mike. 👏

I'd been doing this for years without having the language or concepts to explain why. Very excellent lesson

Dang right I'll be back for the next one. Thanks for putting out some of the best DCS content out there!
This is helpful! I have issues performing proper interceptions and I can’t wait to try out this method.
Good luck with your practice. It took me quite a few tries to get it right. So don't give up if you can't get it right away.
For the algorithm overlords. Well done Mike!
Well done, sir!
Can’t wait for the next video!
Great explanation of ATA and CATA! Look forward to your next video!
Is this Mike Solyom from Goodfellow AFB back in the day? Dude! It's bigity
