That actually makes sense with how the remake timelines/multiverses being so different from the originals. Cause when I played HGSS i was so confused on why Lapras was in place of Espeon, i didn't think it was Red from FRLG and not Yellow
Red's team i think was to show the most basic team you would use in yellow and espeon doesn't fit that since it's a Pokemon intrduced later in gen 2, lapras was introduced in gen 1 and is also given to you
Gen 2 wasn't actually planned to be the end of the series. The Rumour apparently came about from one of the devs saying that Gold and Silver would be it for themselves. Basically a mistranslation or interpretation.
Back in the day, I used to do challenge runs in Black and White 2 with "Canonical" protagonist teams! I looked up every possible fixed encounter and gift Pokemon you could recieve in each set of games along with any possible anime adaptations, then pretended to be that protag in my run! A fun example being Brendan with Sceptile, Swellow, Castform, Armaldo, Sudowoodo and Metagross!
Say this in one of DidYouKnowGaming vidoes, the thing about gen 2 being the end of pokemon is not true at all and the blame falls entirely on the translation. When gen 1 became like the best selling game at the time, they already knew they were gonna continue until pokemon died. So yeah, thats not one of the reasons why Red was in mt silver.
Its a theory that ash is a clone of red because prof. Oak wanted to create the best pokemon trainer thats why he created pokedex to track the best trainer and when red catches meotwo and become the league champions oak realized that he could be a good body of his clone (ash) .that is why ash is always 10 because red also started his journey at 10 . In Pokemon games red is seen speaking in pokemon fire red at his home when the game starts and after that he is barely seen talking because after he knowed oak's plan he got traumatized and he stopped talking . Fun fact in pokemon yellow oak is a secret boss it could be possible that ash is a clone in Pokemon games Warning - its only a theory
It´s always intresting to see this old characters recontextualized with modern mechanics like Pikachu with Volt Tackle, never get´s old! (Always loved this video).

Imagine if you could fight Green if you had Firered or Leafgreen inserted with her as the character chosen at the start

Such a great theory! It makes his gen 4 team make much more sense now, plus there's a chance this isn't his original team but his strongest.

For the intro, I would like to object that claim that gen 2 was never meant to be the end, as said by the creators

I really like your theories! Most of them makes alot of sense and they are mostly very frwsh and not discussed about much! Keep it up! 😊

Honestly your videos are really good and some are pretty eye opening. I think a cool video idea could be about alien Pokémon but that’s just my idea.
love this channel sm
Ditto
Karim in english, this is incredible!!!!
I wish pokemon will watch the video and actually confirm it
What's with the Dragon Ball GT outro? I like the song but it seems like an unusual choice of music for this video.
You should continue to explain teams it's fun
Hi. I'm letting you know that I'm putting you in ZU tier.
