15:02 Alex's Mob snapping turtles do not have moss upon spawning in, it grows over time. The player can shear the moss off for a rare chance to get a snapping turtle scute.
Also for the mobs despawning, I have a trick that can help! You could rename the spawn egg in an anvil to that animal's name. So for example if you're spawning in a hyena with a spawn egg, you could use an anvil to rename the spawn egg, then the mob will spawn with that name making it not despawn anymore. Hope that helps! (Dang I wrote soooooo much)
The next zoo you do should be a city zoo, make it look like the Manhattan city zoo with bricks and concrete, and maybe you could even make it look old style with iron bars and cages!

I chose not to make it snowy due to it being an open air exhibit in a temperate environment, plus it would have required another hour or so of work I didn't feel like doing.
I dont know if there are clouded leopards in any of these mods. But if there are, please add a clouded leopard exhibit Also porcupines (if there are any)

add border blocks on the hyena walls so that it's two blocks wide
If the hyenas are attacking through a corner add some blocks you can’t phase through with an enter pearl

To solve your hyena problem try making the wall 2 or 3 blocks thick so they don't aggro ,the creator didn't fix there range so well
