@@leoem4nuel Yess, with everything they both went through because of the show, it takes someone brave to openly say they became good friends and to speak so well of Solar and Mamamoo. But I'm glad they're both pushing back against the hate, you could tell they were (and probably still are) very fond of each other, you don't make a friend like that every day and they don't deserve to lose that.
listening to his podcast tho... he be like "the other day i was hanging with bts v..." he knows e v e r y b o d y. i'm not even shocked anymore when i hear him name drop new people. but yeah he did podcasts with tablo too and his brother also manages epik high internationally sooo yeah they know each other

18:22 Eric Nam starts speaking about being married to Solar on WGM!!!! I also love how he describes my girls XD He's promoting Mamamoo better than RBW.
Honestly that’s plausible since he said he can’t talk about it... “nice surprises here and there” like bro sdhkjsdh :’) but fr he probably wouldn’t be allowed to talk about it since it’ll spark rumors and shiz AAA
Well most fans (no matter the fandom) are indeed nice! It's just that the 1% loud ones who like drama sadly get the most attention. But that kind of makes sense, it's kind of like how bad news spread easier since they are more 'entertaining'.
Eric Nam is one of those guys who continues to level up in attractiveness the older he gets. Like back when he was on ASC, he was cute as hell. Now on the Kpop Daebak Show, he looks *chef's kiss* Anyways, I'm so happy and proud of him 🤧💕
At 30:08, Eric starts talking about his theories on how BTS became the biggest act in the world. He also talked about the 2014 KCON- LA and how BTS literally stole the show with their choreography and charisma. 💜💜💜
This is what happens if you interview another host; the whole show turns into an interview, feel-good session for both people. Great job and never a boring minute all throughout!
Oh yes! I'd love to see Amber on Not Too Deep! Grace would love her! I mean, but how could not love our Llama Amber!?!? Side note: Congratulations to Amber on finally being free of SM!!
When Grace asking about BTS, maybe she's worry Eric will said something unpleasant. But don't worry Gracie. Eric knows BTS since they are day 5, making shenanigans at his shows, he hosting them kcon, and saw them in Wembley. Their friendship builds from BTS earlier days till now, he watch them closely. And his answer is so heartwarming, that talent and hardwork IS at work to make BTS as big as now.
do u know grace helbig? she is very sweet. she wasnt asking so someone could say something bad about them. she was just asking how they blew up because she doesnt know anything about kpop.
I usually don’t comment on videos but I just had to because I work for Deloitte and I’m listening as I’m sitting here working with a single tear trickling down my face Hahahaha
This is a collaboration I never thought would happen. And absolutely grateful and love it.(Thank you Grace!) You guys have great chemistry in your conversations, so much fun!! Hahahaha Also that Mamamoo comment 😂
Lilian Rojas-Lopez Yes, it was amazingly good and friendly chemistry. It was like they know each other for a long time. But Eric, he always had that best friend persona on him.
Wow, Eric is so articulate and such an amazing guest! This was an amazing interview! And Grace, you actually interviewed him! So many people are out to interview k-pop singers for their differences rather than who they are as a person! I really enjoyed this!!
Omg imagine this podcast with Eric nam, Henry Lau, Amber Lu are on together. The three friends, the stories they would tell. Thx Grace for having Eric on. So cool to hear his personal story. I feel so weird of how they never lost their English and I'm here loosing my native language and not gaining much English hah. Eric's answer is NRA good job. His mom reminded of all Asian parents
I love Eric Nam! Great music and so charismatic. Def someone who you want to listen to and just watch talk. Just saw his interview with Alec and it was adorable. 사랑해!!
Eric Nam's got so much chill and personality, and effortlessly funny too. He's cute alright but all that just makes him even hotter. Damn dude is a total package!!
This came up when I searched for "Eric Nam" and i have no regrets. Great interview! Also, Eric Nam watches BILLIONS! Yaaaassss. Annnd, he puts that ice back into the glass. Hahaha
I came here for Eric's comments about BTS (which are great!) but I left thinking about how intense Asian American erasure has been over the years, especially in the arts. How insane is it that many of the most famous AsAm singers had to travel across the world, learn a new language and adapt to a new culture just to find an audience and be given space to promote, because it was simply impossible for them to make a career in the states... I hope the success of BTS (along with recent wins for Asian film/tv) helps to open things up for Asians to be seen as 'viable' to be cool/creative/attractive/passionate/emotionally engaging stars in the West.
He's such and amazing human being, my respect to him for such an amazing talent💜❤️ Love the way he talk about his friend/colleagues BTS👍💯 Te quiero mucho ERIC.
It’s cool to see two people I never expected to interact with each other that I started following years ago having a conversation together. It’s so weird but so cool to see really great interview!
Idk how it happened but i kind of just watch / listen to a lot of eric nam videos and it’s been a few weeks now but can I say that he has a great speaking voice it’s beautiful to listen to.
Yup. Eric Nam's interview is the only long ass interview I'm interested in. I would not even listen to my fave's interviews if they're an hour or so long but with Eric Nam? I can go on for hours dude. I'm literally binge watching his interviews. Love his voice.
Oouh woow, I watched this Entire 1 hour interview just for Eric and I’m Glad that watched it. This interview was Very funny and heartwarming for me, Thank you for this! 😄🤗🤗
I die because I also went to BC at the same time as Eric and we have a ton of mutual friends, and I missed the train to make friends with him. But he's so delightful!
Back home from Korea and finally got time to listen to this podcast but man like Eric came to Korea to do stuff when i was living there? Like man.. really? Anyway i had so much fun listening/watching this :D thanks~ Anyway i had
PLEASE COME BACK TO SEATTLE ERIC. This interview had so many interesting things about Eric I never knew about. Thank you for not having the same old boring stuff they always ask in interviews, this was way more interesting.
That was everything I needed in life! Eric is the best interviewer but I live for interviews of him! And long form? In English? With Grace fucking helbig?! This just made my whole Friday night!
i enjoyed it so much!!! thanks for having @realericnam in your podcast😊😊😊 😂 laughing while eating my potatoes! not too deep BUT its a bit deep for eric.😁😂
MAMAMOO - 4 VERY FEROCIOUS WOMEN.
I mean where's the lie.
😂😂😂
@Phoebe페베 18:23
eric did get ambushed on one of the episodes i faintly remember. plus they were introduced to each other via escape room i think
When he said that all that went through my mind was the time they ganged up against Solar and cheated in a game to get them to kiss
Eric is choosing his word carefully here. I appreciate his thoughtfulness.

Eric Nam, Jackson Wang, and Henry Lau are the guys that i would love to hang out with.
Inquisitve m fr tho 👏🏻🙂
With how crazy and spontaneous jackson and henry are, you definitely need an eric in between to keep things in check...lol
Samee, like imagine how crazy things will get 🤣
How loud and fun it would be

Well right now Tiffany Young and Amber Liu are trying to make strides in America. I hope I get to see either of them on Not Too Deep sometime.
THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN!!

Tiffany is kinda cringey.

18:22 Eric describing mamamoo: "four very ferocious women", why do I love it so much??

Tablo is his boi. Did "Cave Me In" with gallant & Tablo. Nam brothers organized Epik High's North American tour 2019. They're boys fr.
His brother literally manages Tablo, Tablos stay on Eric's Instagram page too. He got rights.

When grace asked where she should start to educate herself about Kpop, im like... the Kpop daebak show with Eric Nam
Another kpop podcast she can also listen to is Ask me about Kpop podcast.

eric nam mentioning mamamoo to grace!? I AM DECEASED
