Hey Jen, Mr. Cinnamon Stitches can make you tubes for your hooks. Just measure then length and width. Get pvc pipe and cut to length. Craft stores carry cork for top and bottom. Wahoo! Furls and Ommi tube covers.
You really need to take a look at Thd Purple Lamb. The owner is a wonderful lady who hand dyes all her yarns in her home in Lewisville, TX. I absolutely love her sense of color. Her yarns are super soft and work up so beautifully.

Most patterns (for cowls) are worsted & only need one hank, but one of patterns my BFF picked needs 2.... And she wants 3, since she's knitworthy, I'm gonna go for it!!

I just glued mine back together because I had a project that needed that hook. I don't have all the Ommi hooks in all the sizes.... yet. If Jenn keeps on tempting us all, that may have to happen.

550 yards of a DK. If you break it down. Since it's basically 2 typical 100g skeins in 1. It makes it $25/ hank which is on par with most high end yarns. Or at least that's what I tell myself to justify it's expense lol

Rayon is the end result of processing bamboo.. I looked it up. It undergoes extensive chemical processing to make it wearable.
