    Pls take 700 or 750 circular Mills as standard. Taking 1000 circular mills would result in very bulky core which results in more core losses. 2 amp/mm2 is useful in very large transformers.
    For best compromise, use between 2.5-3.5 amp/ sq mm. Flux density is taken as 1T for normal use. For continuous use 24 Hrs, you may take 0.8T.
    Test the efficiency of the transformer, then mark it's current at maximum efficiency. Beyond that current, losses increase and correspondingly more heat is generated.

      @@madhuridudhe7163 aap circular mills ke chakkar me mat pado. Jo practically industry me use hota hai, wahi use karo.
      3.5 ampere per sq mm ka current carrying capacity rakho.
      Turns per volt = 7.5/(area of core in square inch)
      Ya 48/(area in sq CM).
      Bahut badiya transformer banega.
      Aap decide kar lo ki kitne VA ka transformer banana chahte ho.
      Baaki saara method same rahega.

    can i ask plss... where did number 42 came from to get the window area? and are the sizing of core is an assumption? or how did you say that possible core is 3 and 4 .. plsss i want an answer i really appreciate it thank you

      42 is the calculated number of the same frequency and same iron flux density and copper current density..
      We have window area =
      1.69 sq. " × 35% margin = .5195
      Now 1.69 - .5195 = 1.17 sq."
      Primary 24 SWG diameter in inches = .022
      Secondary 13 SWG diameter in inches = .092
      PRIMARY TURN :
      1024 × .022× .022 = .4956
      SECONDARY TURN:
      57 × .092 × .092 = .4824
      Now .4956 + .4824 = .9780 sq. "
      (Which is our requirement)
      And what we have is 1.17 sq. "

      23 SWG = .292 mm^
      24 SWG = .245 mm^
      25 SWG = .2027 mm^
      These are the actual wire size
