Also, I just noticed that apart from mounting the camera, the rest of the video is just how to hide the wires without actually showing how and where to make any of the electrical connections. So now I'm more confused than I was before I started watching this.
to catch bad guys near your vehicle at night/day time , have the cameras on motion detection and constant power with mini dvr inside glove box -> locked!! or just use a 360 center ceiling dome looking light camera? this is your security watch dog!! LOL AWESOME VIDEO MAN!!!!

I've been quoted NZ$1500 to have a similar one purchased, installed and configured for me. But you didn't get much value out of the system?
Did you have to replace your screen? I mean did the car come with a screen from the factory or you install it? If i have factory head Unit, how can i know whether it supports the 4 camera unite/receiver (or whatever its called)
This item is no longer available so you would need ti find something that you can buy today. In general it should work with any system that has video input as in reality, all it is is a glorified camera.

I know a guy who's camera sent him to prison for causing a major accident. He was speeding and driving like an ass which caused others to crash. His camera was confiscated when police tracked down his car. They knew he was driving when he was making comments as the other drivers were crashing. The moral of the story.....well...that's up to you to decide.
Doesn't matter. Even if you don't have camera yourself, there are enough cameras out there already (security cams, other ppl dashcams) that you would end up in someone's frames anyways. So better to get one for yourself.
What is the point of even installing this if you can't record from all 4 cameras. If something happen around the other cameras, it won't be recorded. If your going to go though all this work, you might as well install one that will record from all 4 cameras. But good Video, stupid camera system.
Recording is from all 4 cameras. But it splits the screen into 4 corners to seeing details is hard. I don't think you can make out lisence plates. After using this system for several years, I'd not recommend it. Cool on the paper, in practice... Meh...

I'd not purchase this system, today.So far two side cameras have failed after several years of use.I have not done any research about new system. I find the backup camera is the only one I really use and the front for the recording.

Acc is a wire should be labeled on your deck. It is a power wire that is hot when then car is running. Usually it is red in color.

If you screen had an input, it would work. No idea about factoy as I had aftermarket head unit.

Not in the model I have. Maybe the new have that feature. It shouldn't interfere with the movie output to the rear screen.

Just a device. It is not a recording box. Recording unit is extra.

I want 360 in my car but this isnt the way. Must go WIFI!
This system is old by today's standards. You can get a better one now. WiFi is not the way to go just yet, too unstable.
