- Known for its signature distressed denim and customised leather biker jackets beloved of A-listers, AMIRI is a luxury streetwear brand based in the heart of Downtown LA that brings haute couture construction values to a rock 'n' roll aesthetic.
In this film we meet the brand’s founder and creative director, Mr Mike Amiri, who takes us back to the Hollywood basement underneath a Thai restaurant where the brand began just three years ago. Then we follow Mr Amiri as he visits the small workshops and factories in DTLA where highly skilled artisans hand make each AMIRI garment today.

The concept behind the line isn't all that special, the fabric quality is above average but not incredible, the cost of their products is so high because of the time it takes from Sewing to Finshing. This coming from someone who actually owns Amiri, I work in a Denim Development company in LA so I actually get to see the whole process.
Again - a really nice way to present a story behind a brand.
Love the perspectives, grading, editing and overall aesthetic.

The fit , style and the message behind this company is beyond what people usually understand , Mike Amiri is by far the best designer for clothes , other than supreme and off white that they make things that are expensive for no reason , Amiri makes products that are art pieces

Meh. To be honest, he's not doing anything extraordinary or original. I've seen those kind of jackets/jeans a bunch of times. Overpriced and overrated.
As I said, his brand is not important or relevant to the fashion scene.

The fact that you don't share my point of view doesn't prove that my comments are negative.
Celebrities probably get paid by the brand to wear those clothes. And even if a big celebrity wears "AMIRI" that proves nothing. I could be a movie star and wear my grandma's knitted scarf she gave me for xmas and that would still prove nothing about my grandma's scarf brand. This is why the US is fucked up; you guys do whatever the media tells you to do.
That's not the point. I'm talking about "exclusive" brands such as this one, not Nike or Zara. If I could I'd make my own clothes, harvest my own food and a long etc, but it's not as simple as that.
