  • Raising the bar for home espresso machines, Jura looks to impress with the elegant and powerful Impressa Z9. A true feat of Swiss espresso engineering, the Z9's main feature is its full color TFT (Thin-Film-Transistor) display, which makes it easier than ever to make all of your favorite drinks, like lattes and macchiatos at the push of a button. The display can be arranged with 6 of 11 pre-loaded, one-touch drink options for your convenience. The Z9's powerful dual thermoblock boilers ensure that there's no delay between brewing and steaming and dispense your beverages at the ideal temperature.
    Featuring design elements from other recent Jura models, the Z9 also incorporates the same Aroma+ grinder that made its debut in the Jura Impressa F7. Aroma+ is designed for faster, quieter grinding, thanks to the unique angle of its grind chamber. Other features shared with past Jura machines include: automatic rinsing and maintenance functions; height-adjustable and illuminated brew spouts; multiple strength, temperature, and volume settings; and most importantly, one-touch specialty milk drinks.

    Love Jura Z9, I'm very happy with mine, costs a lot but with reason and works perfectly with oat milk

      Hi, Thanks for your comment. The Z9 is a fine machine! Have not tried the oat milk yet so good to know! Have used soy, coconut, rice and almond milk. All do well except for the rice milk.

    I love the Z9 -- it is customizable yet fully automatic -- a splurge, but worth it.

    Hello! Thank you for all the awesome reviews. I have just purchased a refurbished Z9 and it works great. I am learning all about it and experimenting with all the different drink types. I have Googled and searched the internet but I have not been able to find out what the "steam" setting on the milk frother is for. Any ideas? I have used it to preheat the cups but what other uses are there for that setting?

      Hi J, You are welcome and thanks for the comment and question. I'm assuming you are referring to the dial on the milk frother? If so, it's for adjusting the density of the milk froth produced. You can turn the dial when frothing milk and adjust from simply heating the milk through to creating a light froth for a cafe latte or an airy froth for a cappuccino.

    But the cabinet height above a counter is normally 18 inches. How does this work when placed on the counter and it's height is 14.6 inches high? Dimensions (W x H x D) 12.2 x 14.6 x 17.7 in. How does filling the beans compartment work then (etc.) ? At Weight: 32 lb. you can't just slide it around. So what is the story there?

      Hi Q.A., Story is there's not a lot of room for filling the hopper when under 18" overhanging cabinets. Ability to fill depends on what you are filling from. When dumping from standard 12oz. bags it's doable.

    Can it be used for commercial purposes? How many cups per day?

      Hi Obed, This machine is not rated for commercial use. Here's a similar Jura machine which is: www.wholelattelove.com/products/jura-impressa-xs90-one-touch

    What is the highest temperature in Fahrenheit does the water get to for making coffee?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  7 лет назад +2

      Hi Kimberly, Thanks for your question. The machine is designed to brew at 195-205F. This is the temperature of the brew water when it makes contact with the coffee inside the machine. Brewed coffee exits the machine at appox. 180-190F depending on the temperature setting.

      Thanks, that is an excellent brewing temperature. But it sure does cool down a lot when it comes out.
