Still I think she deserved different heat engagers and some other additional moves from Xiaoyu other than just UF3+4, I wanted a move for her where she tries to go into AOP and she falls, similarly to her new outro at the end, just faster, it would have been very cute, funny and unique, also I wanted them to change the last hit animation of her B2,2,1 to something from Xiaoyu's movelist.

Heihachi trained both bears. He gifted panda to her as a bodyguard when she used to attend his school
Heihaichi also trained Panda as well mainly to act as Xiaoyu's bodygaurd. For a malicious man that likes to throw off his family off cliffs and shoots them he's also an animal lover, who knew!
And also keep in mind this bear got a statue made in her honor no to long ago, China is well known for thier Pandas, it's like their famous national animal there. ❤🐼

To be completely fair as to why a lot of the bears' moveset is the same, Heihachi did train both bears in the canon.
Plus they're both bears, the range of how bears fight is pretty minimal.
I think they'll do 2 reveals at TWT Grand Finals since there is only 2 weeks left.
I also feel like Finals might be a good occasion for one or two season pass character announcement. A lot of games nowadays show off atleast a little bit of their season pass, before the actual launch. And if it's some kind of hype character, TWT is best moment to do it. There's gonna be a lot of time before an event like that

Heihachi did train Panda, BUT then why only now she does his moves just when Kuma decided to learn more of Mishima Style? Would be better if she didn't have them and had some Xiao's for exchange, not much just a little for attention to detail. At least Rage Art is different.
Panda had f,f2 uf4,3 in T7. Whuch are Heihachi's moves.
Maybe it was the other way around in the end. Heihachi style comes from an old tradition inspired by bears, and he likes bears so that's why he studied it and got a pet bear.

Panda has mostly Mishima techniques due to learning primarily under heihachi. Xiaoyu didn’t train panda. She’s trains WITH panda and panda picked up some moves from xiaoyu along the way, as we see in her heat movelist and rage art. But panda is primarily Mishima trained.
I think we'll get two trailers during TWT Finals this weekend, then the other two leading up to launch like normal. As for Panda, I could really do without her in the game. Kuma is super legacy, I like the T8 concept of him mourning Heihachi and getting tribute moves, no issue with it at all I just don't think we need two bears.
I don't think we need a Devil Jin either but hey it's been 2 decades of Tekken, we shouldn't be complaining at this point.

And how long ago was tekken 3? Where were heihachi's moves in Tekken 3-tag2. It's just them making a palette swap with one different move. No real explanation

Also you should have checked the actual video, they're showcasing how Panda is now different than Kuma, different personalities, different moveset, etc, they acknowledged that having 2 characters with the same moveset was dumb
@@maxime9211 Right now they only look like 2% different from each other, this is the PS5 era this ain't Tekken 2, I'm pretty sure they could've figured out the coding to do that because this really just feels like a waste of a slot.
I forgot the point of not needing Jin and DJ. DJ should’ve been used for heat for Jin. Soon they’ll be more differences between kuma and panda. You’re right about one thing kuma is hilarious and panda is a beautiful bear runway model.

TWT LCQ (1/12) - Zafina
TWT Finals (1/14) - Alisa
Following Wednesday (1/17) - Lee
Wednesday launch week (1/24) - Devil Jin
Though I would love to see Lee's trailer for LCQ and Devil Jin for the Finals but they're probably saving the best for last.

the T8 marketing was actually awful. They couldn't deliver on the promise of the initial reveal trailer visually or animation wise, after saying the full game would look better than the trailer. No game awards trailer, panda statue in place of a character trailer then a separate trailer for her 6 months later, when we already know the move list and had kuma's trailer. No control for leaks at all, we already knew the roster a year in advance. No actual trailer for what content is gonna be in the game? Online team battle anyone? Unless they're gonna massively gonna ramp it up in the final 2 weeks they haven't advertised the majority of the features. They literally got mike tyson and his panel wasn't even broadcast or anything. Baffling

If Panda was paired with Ling in 1995 right after training with Heihachi and Tekken 8 is set in 2008 that's 23 years in-universe that she's been with Ling. So even if you maintain that she was trained by him, unless he was meeting up with her on the weekend for catch-up lessons she's been training with Ling for the last two decades. So how did she add new Mishima moves?

You won't. Bears are always the lowest in terms of popularity and the most annoying to fight, that won't change this time around. They are both wasted characters and Tekken has plenty of much, MUCH better characters that can take their places.

We have to be getting another trailer this week. So annoyed to be greeted with Panda trailer this morning lol but glad she is out the way. At this rate Zafina's trailer probably won't be until next week along what Devil Jin I'm assuming. I think we may get Lee or Alisa next this week but either way they need to get rolling on these trailers before release.
Hey Japan suffered a earthquake a week ago hence they skip 1 week to this trailer now. At the very least be grateful we got one.
I'm sure with the last remaining weeks they'll look to speed up with the remaining trailers, 1 probably coming after the final Tekken 7 tournament coming up this weekend maybe.

Fake laugh detected. This man places Kazuya in A tier, everyone else S. He would buff Kazuya, and still say “good but not op” yet everything everyone has is busted. You're wrong, it is a wasted slot, it all has to do with favoritism and development.
First, Harada has said on multiple occasions that the bears are his favorites despite them being extremely unpopular with the community. However, it's Harada's game, so he makes the final decision regardless of what the community says.
Second, game development takes time and money. Making a reskin is much easier and cost less than creating a new character from scratch, so yes, Panda replaced the work the devs could have done to either bring back another character or create a new one.
Either way you look at it the bears will ALWAYS be wasted slots, they are wildly unpopular and will remain so for the duration of T8 and beyond.

@@DarkShadow-hy6iq Then you either don't understand how business and R&D works or you're in denial. Time and money are the gods of businesses. More time means more money and you had better believe any company wants to spend less money if they can. The devs have deadlines and restrictions they need to meet, so they can only spend so much time and money on certain things. In other words, they cannot make everything, they are limited to what they can and cannot do given their deadlines.
If there are two choices on the table: creating a new character or reusing an old one, reusing and refactoring old code is always, ALWAYS cheaper than creating new code. Plus it's Harada's game. Hence, the bears.
The devs could have used that time and resources to bring back ANY of the other characters (all of which are far more popular), but Harada chose the bears.
@@anyany2021 idk much about how this stuff goes, but wouldn't it make sense to save good characters for dlc? So that people will more likely buy DLC, which is why two slots should be "wasted" on them. Because be honest, no one's gonna buy DLC Kuma or Panda
