I JUST REALIZED I DIDNT PUT ANY DISCLAIMERS IN THE BEGINNING: PLEASE DON'T GET INTO CRYPTO BECAUSE OF THIS VIDEO. If you do, you WILL lose money. It's a very tricky space and a vast majority of the projects are rugpulls. Do your own extensive research about it.
lol! Thanks bro. Maybe that was the peak of the gamedev career. Don't know if I will ever come back to grinding gamedev as a job now. Maybe as a hobby, when I feel like it again
Hey man, I want to note that dilluted market cap doesn't mean much. You have to look at the sizes of the liquidity pools. Something might have hundreds of billions as market cap, but if you look the liquidity pool might have only some millions of actual money in there.
I find the graphs and charts mentioned on those websites very misguiding/confusing. Not to say that the numbers are wrong, but the units are inconsistent and incorrect which isn't a good start for a website that should look professional. At 6:34 they refer to yearly energy consumption, yet they label it watts per year, while it should have been watt-hour per year or just simply watts (since what is already the unit of energy used per unit of time). The same happens at 5:53 (although the article itself seems to use the correct units).
With the markets down across the board, it might also be a good idea for anyone making games with MTX planned to use a crypto payment gateway instead. Maybe if it's hosted on something like ICP, FLUX, or any other "AWS killer" projects, you can have people pay for stuff in the respective coins to cover hosting costs too. There also doesn't seem to be a Web3 version of Steam yet, so there's also that for anyone wanting to take on the challenge of making a whole ass storefront lol.
Uhg, I really need to learn more about crypto so I can diversify and decentralize my assets Dx It just seems like so much work to understand and start.
it is bro, I did lose some money when first starting out. So many rug pulls out there. best to start with a hundred dollars or whatever you are comfortable completely losing. because you are most likely going to lose it in the beginning.
@@MasterAlbert yeah, I agree. It's just so weird because I don't even understand where to start because I don't want to play the stock market part but just want to have money in this other currency. I don't know if I should just try to stick with like the original Bitcoin because that seems more valuable and safer than all of these weird strange forms of cryptocurrency that are trying to make their own thing. At least that's how I understand it so far.
@@MasterAlbert no u didn't. Unless you did and didn't update it in the play store for more than one year. Edit: I don't want to sound entitled. I was just reporting a "request", didn't even hope you actually responded!

There doesn’t seem to be that many resources on godot and enjin. If you’re going to do something with it I’d love to see how it works in practice
I really should. Maybe I should get my hands dirty. I hope I can make it, I have zero knowledge on blockchain development
Would I have to invest any money if I were to make a play to earn crypto game?
Can you do tutorials for godot please?

Why... It was going so well. Why the NFTs you can still turn it around. It doesn't have to be like this...
I understand the stigma rn surrounding it. lots of scams, 99% of NFTs will go to zero. but I still think the good ones are the future
