I enjoy how you actually taste the food, enjoy it, then react. So many reviewers react right when it gets to their mouth before they can even taste. You also don't have the same reaction each time, sometimes you look puzzled at what you're actually tasting. Keep up the genuine reviews Sonny!

Coffee in Hanoi is awesome, I had multiple trips to both Giang Cafe (home of egg coffee) and Caphe Cong (Coffee/Hot Chocolate with frozen coconut milk or yoghurt. Both both next to each other which is super convenient. Giang Cafe should be $1/coffee

I'd like to live there for a few months in the near future ! Just gotta be vigilant for scams. They r evrywhere. Trust no one!

Dude that “xoi xeo” actually takes a lot of work. Sticky rice takes like 2 hours and the mung be like 5 hours or so
Yeah...such as bun rieu, if I am not wrong, it takes me more than 1 hour just to cook the soup

I always had xoi xeo for breakfast and bun rieu for lunch when I was in Hanoi! They also have a lot of other food not usually mentioned/shown in blogs/shows. Sometimes I just randomly choose a stall and point to what others are eating ^_^

Yesterday I had a big Vietnamese lunch. (in Colorado hah) The waitress and owner laughed at me because I asked for no onions on my Pho, but I ordered their Durian smoothie. They gave it to me just as I was leaving, because the smell was extreme. It was like one time when some old meat rotted in our trash can, covered in hot onion vomit. Strangely, it tasted delicious. When it got warm, it was kind of like drinking onion and milk, but the flavor was far better than the odor. I couldn't believe how good it rwas.
Bacon420 haha! Love you describe the smell of durian. Don’t drink too much durian smoothie, durian is a very addicting fruit, you might get addicted to it. I perfer sweet and cold durian smoothie. I don’t know why they served you hot durian smoothie :))
