This calling card is definitely incredibly annoying. Took me forever bc it was bugged or not working as I thought. Can’t save and quit and start over. One time I spent hours and never got the jet gun. Ugh thankfully it’s over
the issue with the RNG is that is seems give the same handful of guns repeatedly more so than any other game . At least that was my experience when grinding CAMOS or just trying to get score streaks out the box for the challenge@@mcgritty8842
I 10000% feel your pain... I played directed mode for 4hours saving coins, then went again 4 hours saving coins... had just shy of 1mil coins... spun the box until I had 10k coins left... still didn't have it completed then game crashed... I havent wanted to play again since!

Cleaver is not in the box and the normal knife has always been in the box. Wait till you get roughly 200k before building the jet gun in directed mode. I stayed on round 12. Fresh game no save and quit. When you build jet gun trade it out with wall weapon immediately and wait till it despawns. Then start hitting the box. You’ll need to trade out your load out weapon as well from the box. After I spend roughly 50k I end the round and kill zombies while hitting the box then save 1 till I spend roughly 50k again. Keep doing this so you keep money while hitting. Do not save and quit till you get the calling card. I did this while camo grinding so I’m running 3 hours anyways before I save and quit for the first time
Yo, this works in directed mode, do it there, its a lot easier. Its also a lot easier on citadel de morts, since you only have one wonder weapon to get.
For the people that are not getting the jetgun... First you have to craft the jetgun and then drop it, because if you have a jetgun in your hands, the box won't give you the jetgun, same with the melee weapons
They really do need to update the algorithm for it.. I have a saved directed game. I spent over an hour hitting the box to try to get the AEK to finish the cameos and could not
I decided to do Box Addict with a friend just so we both could get it out the way while grinding Dark Ops. He finished his just shy of 3 hours. It took me like another hour and a half just to get my last damn weapon, the bat. He also finished like 5 other Dark Ops while I was trying to finish this one.
I unlocked this yesterday on citadelle. Took about a million essence. I got everything except the chopper gunner the first hour and then took about 2 hours to get the chopper gunner. Not sure if it helped but I did progress on the main quest and it was round 41 when I finally got the chopper gunner. Side note: on citadelle, the only wonder weapon you have to get is the ray gun which is one less thing to worry about like on LF and Terminus
I did box addict this morning in directed mode liberty falls while camo grinding headshots but do not save and quit! Took about roughly $200k. Do it in one fresh game, you can save and quit after you get box addict. I tried the save and quit before a few weeks ago but it bugs out and won’t work.
Grab the killstreaks only when you don’t have one, grab it and get rid of it immidietely. For assurance I got rid of all zombie builds and spawned with dlc guns. And be patient - my SVD dropped for the first time at round 55 and got it done

For box addict all you need to do is build the jet gun go to the box and replace the jet gun with the box gun then hit the box again and replace the gun you came in with and in 2 hrs you should get all the guns including ray gun and jet gun and 4 scorestreak and DONT NOT SAVE AND COME BACK because you will have to get all the guns again and wont get the jet gun … i did mines in 2 hrs easy
Happens pretty often on ps5. My screen freezes for 2 seonds when i hit box sometimes. But i think it also has to do with connection not just framerate bc my wifi sucks
@ that’s crazy I’ve hit the box on a 4p high rounds & haven’t had issues. But yeah it’s gotta be because of the consoles hardware. I mean it is almost 5 years old now

I tried getting this challenge a couple weeks ago and I got the xm4 and sirin, and the shotguns 5-10xs more than anything. So frustrating. Watching this makes me want to try it again and see if I can get the challenge done.

Try camping the wonder weapon room. Put energy mine with turrets inside the window up to three and go For head shots. Abominations have a hard time getting inside but it can happen. Mutant injection. The jet gun just stand by the door and tap The trigger never going down more than 2 ammo which way to get 500k by round 50
I was doing this on directed mode and the only thing i needed was the baseball bat. Had 300k essence (was a long game that I got afterlife on 2-4 guns and nebula on every gun except the bat) and the game crashed.
lucky i did it before the so1 update. took appoint 4.5 hours first try on directed . jetgun and M.I. were hiding at the bottom of the box. would have been done by 3 hours if those two would have popped . downside of low round loot in directed
Grinded nebula in 1 save game and have millions of points, might have to try this. I’ve gotten every weapon at some point in that save, but not all in the same game
Idk if you have nebula yet, but have you tried to see if the HVTs during the cursed talisman ee on terminus count as elites? Same with Nathan? Maybe 3 games, plus Nathan could be 10 elites?
I am pretty sure you can't get box addict on directed mode (Apparently now you can) i did it twice and it didn't unlock for me I even made a checklist so I know I got every weapon and scorestreak.. I did it on terminus by never inputing the code and evry round standing at the input computer to gather all zombies and built points that way but I'd say citadel paladins broach method probably faster

I HATED this challenge. I farmed around 400k points and still ran out before I got everything. The jet gun & mutant injection were my last items. Had about 20 Chopper gunners and almost 10 ray guns
Yes, but you have to build the wonder weapon first and let it respawn before you’re able to get it from the box, and do not save and quit either or else it you may not be able to get the map ww from the box again, meaning you’ll have to do it on your first directed mode attempt
I did this last night and it only took hour and a half didn't need to get the melee weapons though so I don't think you need dlc weapons cause I never got the malestorm or krig in my run
@@sicklywickly Nope. On game start, I rush over and hit it. Nothing. Next round, same thing. Solo game, so no one else could have. I did hit it once with MM, but nothing happened; it didn't even blow up.
@aubriestarks2242 the only thing I could think is distancing as you do basically have to be touching it. But i feel like you've certainly tried that. I would see if you can get a friend or two to do it while you're the host of the game to see if it's a you problem or possibly a bug on that platform. Definitely tweet at treyarch about it if you can.
Speaking of bugged (probably isn’t, but why do I always get the raygun with wonderbar! gums) I have not gotten a single map specific wonder weapon using the gobblegum and it is really disappointing and off putting to want to use (same with respin cycle,it doesn’t flip the box for the wonder weapon rarity if you use it on that..I think that one is more of a bug)

First you have to craft the jetgun and then drop it, because if you have a jetgun in your hands, the box won't give you the jetgun, same with the melee weapons

I had 4 ray guns in the game at the same time on solo. One in my hand, 3 on the floor. I also got 3 back to back. All out of the same box spawn.
Now, you need the kills from scorestreaks that came from the box

you're not hitting it with melee macchiatto right? it's 1 time per round for everyone, not per player too if you're playing in groups

You have to have the WW crafted before you can pull it from the mystery box. Also, respin cycle doesn't work for WW.
