Got a question. Do you record your samples with edison and export them wuth edison as well? (save - save as...) and do you know how pvlace does it?

@@jeremy846 higher quality than just exporting the file as mp3 / mp4. I just activate the option on the top left "on play" and then i record the whole loop. Save as... And then I save it...
@@jeremy846 nah man, thats not a dumb question, I think personally its better for effects, and making them stay clean with higher quality export, you can also save the samples you make easier with a save button inside of Edison. I personally just opt+R to export mine but its just whatever floats your boat man!

what’s a sample rate?
The amount of times it updates the wave position per second. So A lower sample rates means that some high frequencies will disappear, due to their waveform moving faster than the sample rate can update. Old sound systems had bad sample rates, meaning high end would disappear. So they are imitating those old sound recording devices.
the sample rate frequency MUST also be TWICE THE HIGHEST FREQUENCY of whatever your sampling (aka the nyquist frequency). since 20 khz is the highest frequency that humans can hear and will experience in music, your sampling rate will never be bellow 40 khz (hence the common 44.1 khz sampling rate). this link has some nice visual representations of this.
