I find kale to be very vigorous in my area this time of year. I just planted a ton of it haha. It will all just bolt as soon as freezing stops next year. I will probably have transplants ready to go in by then, as it's slow and doesn't move much until may when direct-sown. It is still too warm for more of most brassicas for me though sadly.

What is the best indoor light, temperature & watering methods for seed starting?
My front porch has been enclosed to be a nice sunny room.
I'd love to set up a seed starting station in there as I've always direct sewn in the past.
It keeps to about 80* most of the summer/early fall. NE FL Zone 9B. Thanks!

    • @matthewn667

If it’s still hot, potato have issues growing. It’s probably better to plant something like sweet taters. Some people have luck in shade areas, but it’s better to wait till fall or late summer.
